At night...

Tanya's wedding party was in one of the high end convention halls.

And, Brina who hates the public attention took another door from which could only be accessed by the close people of the bride and groom.

When Tanya saw Brina, she couldn't control her emotions.

It's been months since they met!!

The last time they met was when Tanya visited Brina's apartment to talk about Chris.

After that, though she wanted to meet her best friend, Tanya couldn't help but feel guilty.

She was selfish. Selfish enough to ask her best friend to date Chris so that her own fiance Ben would stop worrying about his cousin, Chris.

She just cared about her own life and neglected Brina's feelings.

Later, when she realized her mistake, Tanya felt very guilty and embarrassed. She belittled their friendship and humiliated it.

What's worse than this??

All the friendship they built till now has just weakened because of one selfish act.

So, even when she made a call to Brina to invite her for the wedding, Tanya almost thought that Brina would not come.

But, seeing her best friend here, standing right in front of her, Tanya couldn't control her emotions.

Without even caring of what her rich in-laws would think, she sprinted to Brina and hugged her tightly.

"I missed you, Brina. I missed you a lot and I am really sorry for what I did that day. I was selfish.." Tanya whispered as she sobbed.

Her in-laws, who in real, has not yet approved of her genuinely, made an angry and annoyed face.

According to them, the hypocrites of the high socialites, showing their emotions in front of others, were indecent and boorish.

Tanya's mother in law looked at her husband. "What will others think of us now? She humiliated us" she whispered.

If not for Ben, their son, they wouldn't have accepted this 'gold digger'.

As they can't show their anger on Tanya for doing like this, it got directed to Brina. Every close relative of theirs was looking at Tanya crying.

"You better ask your wife to stop this drama, Ben Cooper. Or else, we will be forced to kick her best friend out of here" Tanya's mother in law told Ben, Tanya's husband.

Ben snickered in low voice.

"Sending Brina out? Mom, if you do that, our whole company will crumble down in minutes" Ben said.

When he found out that Brina is the girlfriend of Edward, the new CEO of the L & E corps, he was shocked.

But after finding out that Brina herself was a CEO once, that too, to one of the powerful companies, S & S corporations, it was when he realized the power Brina holds.

However, he still doesn't know that Brina is the princess, the next in line of one of the famous five kingdoms in the west.

"Is that so? What's so special of her?" Tanya's mother in law questioned.

"Have you heard what happened to Chris?" Bed questioned in reverse.

"Of course I know. That poor guy lost all his money, support and even citizenship of this country. He was found all alone in the Sahara desert with just his boxers on. He almost went insane and died in starvation if not for his Savior who brought him to treatment" his mother whispered, slightly confused, why her son was suddenly asking about his unfortunate cousin.

"The reason why he happened like that was her. He insulted her love, so her brother had his people beat Chris into a trash, strip him off from all the power and wealth he holds."

"While her boyfriend got his citizenship cancelled and have thrown him into a African dessert with just his boxers on. He intentionally made Chris suffer and when he was about to die, her boyfriend rescued him and sent him to mental asylum." Ben answered.

Although Ben wanted to help Chris, after finding out how dangerous it could be, he decided against it.

Meanwhile, Ben's mother was flabbergasted.

"They did it to him just because he insulted her character?" she asked.

"Yes. If you think of us as rich and high standard people, they are of the next level. So, their process of doing things will be a lot different and extreme. So, you better be careful of others, you will meet the same unfortunate" Ben said.

Meanwhile, Ben's sister nudged her mother.

"That ring on her finger. That's enough to tell how powerful and rich she is. That's a rare and most costliest stone, red diamond. In short, even if we sell all our properties, we can't buy that one. It's priceless" she said.

Others might think that ring was a duplicate one but she knew it as a jewelry designer.

Meanwhile, Tanya's mother in law gulped her saliva.

"All right, at least ask them to chat inside." she said.

Brina and Tanya got back to Bride's room.

"Where have you been Brina? You look so different and…. glowing? Tanya said as she looked at Brina.

"I have been busy abroad. I just returned for your wedding and my bachelor party" Brina said, slowly yet suddenly dropping a bomb.

Bachelor party??

Tanya is shocked.

She didn't expect her friend to get engaged just in these few months. So, it is why she is glowing.

"You got engaged?" Tanya asked.

"Uh hmm. Just a week back" Brina said, giggling as she showed the ring on her finger.

Tanya blinked as she gazed alternatively at her friend and the ring.

"You really got engaged!!" Tanya incredibly said.

Is this her friend who despised getting into a relationship??

And, the ring looks so expensive and priceless.

Her fiance must be filthy rich.

"And, who is he? That employee you said you were seeing?" Tanya asked, referring to Louis.

"Uh hmm. He is the person" Brina said.

"But Brina, I think he is not an employee. If you don't know, this ring looks very expensive. A normal employee can't afford it" Tanya said, looking intensely at the ring.

"No he isn't an employee. He is the CEO of L & E corporations" Brina admitted.

Tanya is after all her best friend who aided her, supported her and stayed with her all these years.

So, she didn't feel like hiding anything from her.

"What??" Tanya gasped.

She is shocked.

She heard rumors that the new CEO of L & E corporations is in love with the sister of the CEO of S & S corporations, Harry Wilson.

"And, Tanya, I am not who you think I am. I am not simple either" she said.

"You are the sister of Harry Wilson?" Tanya asked, interrupting her.

"Eh? How do you know?" Brina asked, this time shocked.

How did she find out?

This shouldn't be disclosed!!

It will bring nothing but danger to her!!

Looks like something is really really fishy here.

"I heard rumors," Tanya answered.

"Oh! Actually I am not only the sister of Harry but a former CEO of it." Brina told her, but her mind is still busy in thinking how that rumor came.

Deciding to ask her people to work on it later, she let it go. She doesn't want Tanya to worry about her wedding party.

Meanwhile, Tanya is utterly shocked.
