"It's Nickolas, the person who loved Sab. Even you couldn't have saved her if you were in my shoes that time. So stop blaming us and think of the way which could prevent another family from facing the same horrendous end like Sab's"

"James, don't try to escape reality. Step out from your fucking dreamland and realize that no one is safe with Rebellion gaining the power. Be brave and fight rather than escaping from the truth" Remus added.

"We will not force you, James. We already have enough power and connections to fight back those scroundlers. However, we will be here if you and your people need help" Remus said, standing up.

"Are the other kingdoms with you? Kingdom Aletros (Louis's Kingdom)?" he asked.

"It's none of your business when you don't want to take part in this," Remus answered as he walked to the door with his brother in tow.

He looked very disappointed and sad when James asked it. To, James couldn't help but assume that Kingdom Aletros is not with them.

Moreover he didn't understand why his big brother stayed so quiet and had let him talk. Seems like he is observing his brother.

"I heard someone tried to assassinate the ladies in the Academy. And, all of a sudden Prince Edward got married. I wonder if they are up to something as well" James said.

"Might or might not be. They have their own power and tricks" Remus answered.

"Nick, Remus and his brother came by. They are planning an attack I guess" James said to Nickolas through the non traceable phone.

"Did they? Hmm… surprising" Nick chuckled while he continued observing his fiancée with a smile as she petted the baby horse .

He is now in his own farm house in a small town abroad. They are taking rest away from everything and came to this town to visit family.

"Yeah, but they sounded so desperate for my help. Seems like they don't hold enough power to strike back successfully" James answered.

"Ha! As expected for that hot headed Remus. Instead of making alliances he will provoke them. He thinks he is Sabrina.. Huh!" Nick mockingly scoffed.

"And, about Kingdom Aletros and the sudden marriage of the prince. Did you get any lead?" he asked.

James pursed his lips. "One thing Remus is right about is that Kingdom Aletros is stronger than we thought. They have their own tricks, special forces and most importantly, one of the underworld gang from US is helping them"

"So, I couldn't squeeze much information. I think Prince Edward has been training his own army secretly, while he is away. We thought he was not interested in all this Royal stuff, but the truth is he was the trump card of the King"

"He has made many stronger connections while he was abroad. So, we ca-" James got cut off in the middle, when Nick asked.

"I could figure out this much, James. I asked you if his marriage is something we should take seriously as? Why cancel the bride selection in the middle and marry?" Nick asked.

"As far as what I found out, Prince Edward was in love with his wife from before. It's a love marriage" James answered.

"She is an ordinary and common person with no big background" he said.

"What about the Royal family and others?" Nickolas asked.

"From what my intel found out, no one is much pleased by this. However, as Prince Edward is their only hope right now and he is head over heels with his girlfriend, they couldn't go against him. He was stubborn that he will only marry her… so, everyone accepted" James said.

This is the false rumor Louis intentionally created.

And, while he was in the US, he had very good connections with the main family of the underworld gang. He had his own power there…

It's his best friend Layla who is the boss now. 'The shadow', she called herself as.

Meanwhile, the special forces and army they were talking to is Brina and Harry's people whom Brina trained while she was away.

"Good," Nick said.

"Nick, you remember the promise you gave me right? My kingdom has to be safe and S-" he was interjected by Nick again.

"Yeah, I remember. Don't worry" Nick said.

"I couldn't believe James didn't want to help us," Remus scoffed.

"Thank god, we acted too desperate and powerless in front of him." he sighed.

"But, this is still going to affect us, Remus. How have you been so sure that he will help us? Have you really checked on him before taking this bold decision" Remund, his big brother asked angrily.

"I was so sure because he loved Sabrina so much! When she 'died' he was very devastated and vengeful."

"I never thought that cowardice overshadowed his love for her? And yeah, I checked on him. But-" Remus sighed.

He seems so disturbed.

Remund sighed and shook his brother's shoulders vigorously. "You are not in your right mind, Remus. Get over it!! You can't make mistakes like these again" he shouted.

When Brina and her family had got attacked, Remus was the one who messed most of it. It was because of him they couldn't accompany Brina that day.

"Fine, I will try. Just give me some time, please. I am still mourning" Remus said, his eyes red.

"Man! It's been a year since Niccy died! I know you loved her so much but nothing is going to change and she wouldn't be returning back!" Remund sighed.

"How could Nick be so inhumane, brother? Niccy was his sister… his own sister. He sacrificed her for power. He chose them over her!!" Remus shouted as he fell on his knees.

Thank god that they are in their private jet now. No one saw him crumbling down.

Although he looked indifferent and normal, he was mourning so much and he was mentally depressed. He didn't understand why it started getting more and more strong nowadays. Niccy started overshadowing all his thoughts too much these days.

"Nick faced an inferiority complex with Brina. She was far better than him and excelled over him in everything. I guess it made him determined to be powerful and superior over everyone. This would have made him inhumane" Remund comforted his brother.

What Brina doesn't know yet is that Niccy, her best friend, Nickolas's sister, Remus's girlfriend, died.

While Brina and her family were getting attacked a few years back, Brina's evil uncle Gabriel kidnapped Niccy too.

Remus and Remund who were actually going to Brina's place abruptly changed their plan and hurried to save Niccy. At first Remund proposed to spit up so that half of the men will follow Remus to save Niccy while the rest will follow Remund.

However, Remus didn't agree to it and insisted that everyone should come to save his Niccy. He was adamant that nothing would happen to Brina and her family and was stubborn that Niccy was in more danger.

That's why the brothers didn't come and everything has happened.

But who would have thought that the main target was Brina and her family but not Niccy.

Niccy was a huge help to Brina. Just like a right hand.

And, she didn't agree with her brother. She went against the people who killed her best friend and their family...but, only to die in their hands.

Nickolas had chosen power over his sister. The poor girl didn't think it would happen.

Niccy died just a span of a few days after Brina and her family's accident.

Well, she didn't die that day but was injured seriously. And, she was in a critical state and had just died a year back.

Till then she was in the vegetable state, fighting against death. Still, Remus was not over her.

Meanwhile,Brina still doesn't know that. Remus chose not to tell her. He just told her that Niccy dumped him and for taking revenge he agreed to get engaged to prince Penelope.

Telling the truth would only increase Brina's guilt and she is already shouldering enough pain, guilt, regret, hate and everything.

She had enough betrayals and has seen a lot worse. However, she would have not thought that Nickolas, her ex fiance, was so inhumane that he would sacrifice his sister's life just for power sake.

However what would hit her more is that Niccy was targeted because she was Brina's best friend. Nickolas became that inhumane because he felt inferiority complex because of Brina's background, power, mind….and everything.

So, if she finds out all this, it will make her even very sad.

Remus didn't want to ruin her happy life with all this mess. She started her new life and, at last the happy days have dawned in her life.

She got a wonderful family, loving husband and caring friends. It's not even been a year she started enjoying her life, smiling like before.

She is angry at him for bailing on her that day. However she doesn't know the truth and it is better this way…

Anger and hatred is better than guilt and pity.

Though he asked Remus to take some break, get over it, he didn't want to take a break till he avenged his beloved Niccy.
