A few days passed by….

Brina and Louis are enjoying their best…

They would make love all night and wake up late in the morning. Before Brina could wake up, Louis would prepare the brunch and bring it to bed.

After having brunch they pass an hour, playing on bed, teasing each other and if Brina is not tired they would even go for a quickie.

After that, they spent another hour or so in the spa room, massaging each other's bodies and mostly playing around again. Later, they would have a shower or bath. Sometimes they make love and sometimes they don't.

By then it will be lunch time and both of them will prepare some simple dishes together and then eat in the garden under the patio.

It will be snowing most of the time and sometimes the sun suddenly appears, making it warm and cozy. However, despite that, they have a fireplace just beside the table, supplying the warmth.

After eating, they spend some time walking or cuddling with each other. If Louis has any meetings he would attend or else, they would just spend it playing in an outdoor swimming pool where water is always hot.

One day, they went trekking and spent the night in the woods despite the freezing cold. Another day, they did skiing and snowboarding.

Although Louis wanted to permit his wife just to the bed and enjoy her all the day, he didn't wanted their honeymoon to just be about 'that'

He wanted to spend some romantic time, make memories and fulfill all his wife's wishes.

They even danced in the snow, had snow fights, and made snowmen. They were very fun too…

Louis never saw his wife this happy. Smile never left her lips and she was always glowing. Seeing her like this made Louis so happy. This happiness gave him more satisfaction than the pleasure.

However, that doesn't mean he is not a beast in the bed. Every evening, in all the fun activities they do, they always compete with each other.

Be it snow fighting, snowman skiing or anything, they compete against each other. They make a bet and that determines how that night and morning would be.

So far, they had very adventurous nights and days. They even did all the kinky stuff, fulfilled their wild fantasies…

However, what they did was balance everything. But that didn't change the truth that Louis is so addicted to her and their bed play. If he didn't want Brins to enjoy everything, he would have really permitted her to bed.

Maybe that is what true love is. For the other person, one had to be able to balance their emotions, understand them and act accordingly.

"I lost my control l, didn't I?" Louis asked when he saw the bruises on his wife's body.

Brina just nodded her head as she tried to move her body but only to wince in pain.

"Sorry" Louis said as he made her lie down on bed and started giving her massage with pain relieving oil.

"Ahh! Don't be! This is the most adventurous and thrilling night I ever had" Brina said as she moaned in satisfaction.

His hands do magic! He is the best massager!

"Me too. I enjoyed it" Louis grinned.

"Except for the nail scratches I made" Brins chuckled.

"I don't mind you doing body art work. It is yours Louis huskily whispered.

"It's sad that we can't have another adventurous night like this after going back," Brina said.

"Sigh! That's true. I almost forgot we would be going back the day after tomorrow" Louis pursed his lips.

Sensing his gloominess, Brina turned around and pulled him into a kiss. "We can come back here often. For now, dad wants us and most importantly your kingdom needs you" she said.

Louis, who is now having his face buried in her neck sighed. "Yeah. It is not that I complain. But, after going back, I had to share you and I would be getting very less time with to spend with you"

"Most importantly, I have to attend those boring meetings and listen to all the melodrama. We will be going back to our stressful and responsible life" he sighed.

Brina smiled. "It gets boring, right?" she asked as she remembered her days as princess.

"Baby, you never talk about your days in the Royal family of Kingdom Wentris. Was their boring and stressful life this?" Louis asked.

In these few days, Brina started opening up more and more with him. After they started dating, these days were the only days they got to spend some quality time with.

Before this, they had some or other people surrounding them or some or other trouble waiting for them. So, getting this plenty of time, they bonded up deep.

"They weren't so boring actually. I could say it's a mix of both good and bad days for me" Brina said.

"Unlike your dad, my dad had siblings. So, I had cousins to have fun. My purple eyes and this platinum blonde hair made me special from the very beginning" she said as she pointed to her purple eyes and platinum hair.

"Only a handful of my ancestors had those features and they were all legends . They made such great changes in the Kingdom. So, they thought I would be sane too"

"So, there were many people scheming against me, trying to taint my reputation. And, I for the one, used to treat it like a game. I used to enjoy observing their moves, turn the tables against them and give a wonderful face slaps to them"

"I had it thrilling and adventurous. So, no, it wasn't boring to me. To be frank, I never took any of them pretty seriously. That was just fun to me and who would have known that this reckless character of mine would bestow me with such a 'great' fate" she sarcastically laughed, however her eyes turned a little gloomy.

However, it vanished as soon as it appeared.

Meanwhile, Louis just continued looking at his wife. What he understood recently is that, it is better to let his wife vent out everything even if it was painful to her.

"That's how you became so observant and could easily sense who was scheming against you and who was not" he said, deliberately ignoring the last words.

"Yeah. But I was different back then. As I said I am no saint"

"I was reckless, ruthless, stubborn and haughty sometimes….no, no. Most of the time. It could be the reason I failed to realize who were loyal to me and my family and who were backstabbing us. I should have been more careful" Brina said, remembering it.

"Brina, every person has their own dark past, baby. You should let it be as the 'past' and prevent it from interjecting your present and future. The main thing here is, you changed and you realized what your mistakes are. You are a changed person, a better version" Louis said. "So, don't let your fears take over you."

"But, even back then, you were a good person by heart. You were kind to the people who were innocents and you were impeccably loyal to your kingdom. And, being stubborn and haughty? They are needed for a princess like you" Louis said, ruffling her hair.

"It was your recklessness and one sided mind that harmed you back then. You have blindly believed in the people you loved, not listening to that others were telling you. You were naive when it comes to relationships. You devote yourself once you fall in love with someone. However, all of these could turn dangerous"

"So, Just remember not to let your mistakes take over you and I am sure you will be a legend just like your ancestors" Louis said, smiling widely at her, before kissing her forehead.

Brina smiled with tears brimmed in her eyes. "Yo.. You know what, I love you so much. No one understood me like you did"

"Louis, you are the best thing that ever happened to me. Ahh! Only God knows how grateful I am… I couldn't even express it now" she said, throwing herself in his embrace, making him press down on the bed.

"Just let me on the top tonight . It will do" Louis teased for which both of them laughed.

"To express how I feel, I should be on the top," Brina said, winking at him.

"Really? Let's make a bet" Louis grinned.

The rest of their honeymoon passed by and reluctantly, Brina and Louis left their dream land.

This mountain villa was like a mini heaven to them. They had wonderful memories associated with every nuke and corner of the house.

On the bright side, while they were away, nothing much happened.

Surprisingly yet worryingly, Rebellion was quiet. It was like a calm before the storm…

"Edward, you know the tradition right?" King Edgar asked his son.

Brina and Louis returned to the palace in the evening. They freshened up and arrived for family dinner.

Although Queen mother Greta returned back all again, she didn't come for dinner. It is too obvious that she doesn't like Brina.

However, who cares now?
