"Although Brina is very happy, it is still a truth that no one can fill the void of her family's death left in her heart."

"She needs to reunite with her parents and besides this, William needs his grandparents at this age. Especially after his parents death"

"Moreover, Brina is pregnant and she possibly can't be bold enough to face her uncle and fight against him alone. So, she need as much as help she could get"

"Brina will never be yours. In the first place, she was never yours. She never

"I will leave you to think about it, Nick. I will be going outdoors to join the picnic with them. If you want to come clean you are welcome to join us anytime before this evening. If you decide against it, you are free to go from here and don't come back again. I will take Brina to her parents and reunite them."

"Hey, guys. Sorry for the delay, I was talking to my friend about some matters" Layla said as she walked to them and sat down on the blanket.

"That's fine. We didn't get bored" Louis said, still lying on Brina's lap.

He rubbed his nose playfully to Brina's belly, tickling her.

Bring laughed and ruffled his hair before they shared a brief kiss.

"Is your friend not joining us?" Brina asked after a few moments of silence.

"He will be. I made sure of it" Layla answered.

"What happened in the second phase of attack?" Layla asked Louis, suddenly remembering that Remus should be proceeding with his revenge now.

"The straight attack would be tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. They are busy in their final arrangements and strategies" Louis informed.

"I am glad this will be coming to end, soon" King Edgar sighed in relief.

"Yeah, Brina could at last spend her time in peace as well" Queen Elora added.

However, they stopped talking when they saw a man approaching them.

And, when Brina recognised the man, she froze. Louis, who was leisurely lying down, sat down all in alert and looked at Layla with surprise and a little bit of anger.

'What the hell is Nickolas doing here?' he thought.

His first reflex was to wrap his arm around Brina and show that bastard whose woman she is.

He knows that Nick can't harm anyone here because he was clearly outnumbered.

However, he wondered what Nickolas is doing here.

Isn't he a traitor?

Isn't he the backstabber who was the reason for everything that happened?

How dare he show his face!!!

He really has a nerve to appear in front of the woman whom he betrayed and made her lose everything!!

He is truly the most shameless person he has ever seen in his life!!

But what wondered Louis the most is, Why did Layla allow him into her private garden?

What is their relationship??

And why on Earth did she never tell him about Nickolas??

Is she hiding deliberately?? Or, was it just a coincidence??

He asked her to handle most of the matters by herself and only interfere with him if they are related to very important things.

But this is too coincidental to happen!!

What is her intention in hiding everything related to Nickolas from him, her best friend?

Meanwhile, as Nickolas walked to them, Brina felt more nervous.

Her first reflex is to hide but she knows that it's meaningless now.

It is not that she feared him or she had feelings for him.

It is pure disgust, hatred, annoyance that is left in her heart.

She just didn't want to cross paths with him and ruin her day.

She swore to see him only on his death day, which had to occur in her hands.

She never wanted him to learn that she is alive, but it seems like it can't happen anymore.

If Nick was that informer, Layla was talking about, he would have already figured out that Sabrina is alive and she is in front of him in the perfect disguise of Brina.

Helpless and annoyed, Brina could only grip her dress tightly and ball her fists tempted to punch him.

And, as he walked closer, she instantly got her guards up.

She worriedly looked at her nephew Will who was at the lake and then shifted her eyes to Louis who was actually looking at her now.

Without any wordly communication, Louis understood what she was thinking just by looking into her eyes.

He nodded his head in assurance and he silently gestured to his people to guard Will and Meg.

After his people took their places, securing the lake permesis, he then squeezed her hand silently, comforting her that it would be fine.

Louis could only control his urge to stab that man and feed him to his sharks here in the next town.

He would have already done that if it wasn't for Layla who gestured to him to wait patiently.

"Isn't he that mere football player who betrayed my dearest child here?" King Edgar asked in anger, meanwhile.

When Brina nodded her head passively he felt his heart ache for her.

"Don't worry, honey, we will not let him hurt you anymore" King Edgar comforted her, patting her head.

Brina gratefully smiled. It just reminded her of her own father.

How good would it be if he was alive??
