On the other side, everything is going too well for Brina and Louis.

As the place where they are staying is absolutely safe, they totally relaxed.

However, they wouldn't have thought that the storm would hot the other side of the family.

Brina's tummy started showing up and with that, Louis started getting more and more insatiable.

Eliina almost rolled her eyes at him.

"Really? But, why do I feel like I can't reciprocate your thrill and hospitality" Eliina mocked as she folded her hands, looking sarcastically at him.

Gabriel laughed.

"Such a energetic child. Son, you are lucky to have her" Gabriel said, looking at Diego who is looking at his father in helplessness.

His worst fear just came true and more than this, he is worried what his father will do to Luna...uhmm...Eliina.

"I am not feeling lucky," Eliina mocked.

Diego felt his body shiver.

Her voice is so hostile that he could no longer see his sweet Luna.

There stands a woman, an intrepid princess with a hot head and pride. Well, it's not like he is hating this version of her.

"Short tempered, ahh? Gabriel laughed.

"Yeah!! What will you do about it?" she asked.

"Now, let me go back. Or else, my brothers will chase you" she added, making Gabriel laugh.

"Let you go? Do you think of me as food, girl? I kidnapped you and you are staying here till I bargain my way" Gabriel said, standing up.

"And, do you think your brothers could come to the heart of the Kingdom Wentris?

That too to my palace and go out alive?" he asked, making Eliina grit her teeth.

Gabriel clapped his hands and the lines of guards and maids came in.

"Take care of our guest with full respect and make sure she has a good stay here" he ordered.

"Father, I will accompany her please" Diego asked.

"Sure. She is your girlfriend after all. Show her our palace and make sure you give her a good time. Today is your anniversary right? You can have a dinner date in the garden" his father said, warmly looking at his son.

"No thanks. I lost my interest in this fucking anniversary" Eliina fumed.

Gabriel just laughed and went away.

He has so much to plan now.

And, he had to contact her father and name his price to let his daughter free.

"Luna…" Diego called her when she started walking aimlessly.

The maids and guards followed her and their crown prince, quietly. Not daring to disturb them.

Diego look cool and simple but he is very short tempered too. They are afraid of him.

But here he is, afraid of his girlfriend. This is actually fun...

"Eliina. My name is Eliina, Prince Diego" Eliina hurled out her words, continuing to walk.

"Babe, why are you angry at me?! I am a victim just like you and I was really clueless og my father's plan"

"Didn't I tell you that it is dangerous to meet me? However, you, the stubborn little panther, insisted" he deadpanned.

"Ahh!! It's your mistake, Diego. If you would have been honest, this wouldn't have happened. Now, because of my reckless and impulsive action, all my family and Kingdom is gonna suffer!!!" she scoffed.

"You wanted me to be honest about this? What about you? You said, you were from a commoner family" he retorted.

"At least I was honest about where I come from!! You on the other side lied to me about everything" she rebuked.

"You don't know what this kidnap thing will do to my family. Unlike your bullshit, emotionless and loveless family, my family is very emotionally connected. They would even sacrifice everything to get me free from here" she added with the same furiosity. "Which I don't want to happen!!"

Diego grunted.

Yes, his family is not so connected but why is she going overboard.

"God, what should I do now? I don't want my family to risk anything." Eliina started to cry as she sat down on the floor with her back leaned to the wall and her head clutched to her knees.

Her sister in law is pregnant.

Her father already had a heart attack once.

Meanwhile, when Diego saw her crying, his heart twisted in pain. He crouched down and hugged her.

This time, Eliina didn't reject him. Because, she knew she is in wrong as well.

"I am so sorry. I didn't know this would happen. I am ready to do anything to save you, but-" he got interjected when Eliina finished the sentence.

"But you are helpless too. This is your father's place and everyone here are his people" she said.

"Right. For which, I am very sorry" Diego apologized.

He just didn't want to give her false hopes.

"But, to protect you from him, I am ready to be your human shield, Luna. I will never let him harm you" Diego said, wiping away her tears.

"Your father harmed the people mentally, Diego. Would you be able to stop him from doing it to me?" she asked.

Diego is surprised that Eliina knows his father this well.

As for her question, he could only comfort her with silence. He could only protect her physically, not mentally.

He started feeling like he is useless and his existence is just an eyesore.
