Supremacy Games Chapter 225

An hour later...
Felix could be seen lying on the floor of his room like a log.
When he left the classroom, he went straight to pick the camping gear from the warehouse before coming to his room and integrating 2% of the remaining 4%.
Even though it was merely 2%, Felix was still finding it harder and harder to tolerate the pain without passing out after the process.
A few moments later, his eyelashes started trembling as he was trying his best to open his heavy eyelids.
'Oh god, my f*cking head!'
The moment he regained his consciousness, his brain was hit with the same headache, reminding him that the Jörmungandr had woke up and was gazing at him from the unknown.
Terrified by the thought, his lips quivered as he swiftly drunk the rejuvenation potions one by one until his body and mind were reformed back to their peak again.
"I started to get tired of this shit." Fatigued and frustrated, Felix massaged his eyelids while standing up on his feet.
Before doing anything, he checked his room with his eyes, worried that the Jörmungandr's eyes were going to pop up again.
Thankfully, no such thing happened. He wondered if it was due to lowering the percentage to 2%.
"Damn you Jörmungandr, we were such a good team." Feeling tough again, Felix cursed under his breath as he beamed what left on the floor.
'Sir Felix, you are low on integration potions.' The Queen suddenly reminded him.
'Uhm?' After clicking on his spatial card menu, he noticed that indeed, he was left with only two rejuvenation potions, one pain relief potion, and not a single double percentage potion.
He never bothered to glance at the number of his potions as he always bought 30 by 30 each time he went for a shopping spree.
'I am really drinking them like water with this slow approach of integration.' Felix shook his head as grabbed a towel from the closet and threw it on his shoulder.
'Whatever, I got enough coins now for another shopping spree.' He rubbed his chin as he left his room, "Might as well shop for some expensive battle potions and substances.'
When he realized that the Gama organization was already on the planet, he always wanted to do a shopping spree on battle potions and substances. However, he was either broke or busy.
Now, that he had almost a billion and a half coins, nothing was holding him back.
Cluck!
With a towel on his shoulder, Felix left his room, wanting to go for a quick shower. However, the moment he turned around he saw Olivia peeking at him from her room.
"Pssst! Felix, come here."
Speechless, Felix looked at her gesturing with her hand for him to enter.
'What is she up to again?' Carefree, he entered her room and closed the door behind him.
"Eww! You stink! Go take a shower first, I will tell you later."
Too bad, the moment Olivia smelled his nasty stench from his integration, she pinched her nose in disgust and kicked him back out.
Slam!
"Just use the Queen's messaging system, if it is important." Annoyed, Felix left this remake before continuing on his way to the shower.
'I did, but you weren't responding for the last hour.' The Queen's voice was heard in Felix's mind.

'I was busy integrating. So, What's up?' Felix asked although he was pretty much certain that she was going to mention his Landlord game.
As he expected, Olivia used the Queen to retell everything that happened in the classroom word by word, snitching without shame.
By the time Felix finished showering Olivia was at the end of her story.
'Not bad.' Felix smiled faintly while drying his hair.
He didn't expect that Kenny and Johnson to back him up, as he wasn't really that close to johnson while Kenny's situation was self-explanatory.
That being said, Felix was still wary of Kenny and wasn't planning to treat him better anytime soon.
'Alright, thank you for the info Oli.' Felix said while rolling a towel around his lower body. 'Oh, remind me again of your integration percentage.'
'88%, I am about to reach origin purity.' She replied.
'Did the elders already bought you a tier 2 bloodline?' He asked while walking down the hallway.
'Not yet. They are focusing on buying a cheap tier 2 epic rank bloodline for Noah.'
After leaving this response, silence descended in their mind conversation, making Olivia confused.
A couple of seconds later...
Knock knock!
"It's me."
After hearing Felix's voice, Olivia jumped from the bed and opened the door of her room. Yet, the moment she saw Felix was it again with his upper body nudity, she pressed her lips in vexation.
"I going shopping for some stuff in the evening." Felix smiled as he offered, "I need some company."
"Oh? That's rare coming from you." Skeptical, Olivia tightened her lips as she looked at him blinking his eyes innocently.
"Be honest, what do you want?" She looked left and right, "Is this one of your pranks?"
Olivia's suspension was on point, as Felix didn't want her company when he shops for potions but to take her to Looby's shop and get her a good tier 2 bloodline to replace the one she had.
He knew that the elders were going to spend the majority of the coins they earned on getting Noah an epic bloodline. However, for the rest, they could only settle with rare tier 2 bloodlines.
As for him? He already told his grandfather that he could manage on his own, giving the elders a breather on their already tight budget.
Felix didn't want Olivia to use a rare bloodline again, especially when he currently had too many coins in his hands.
He wasn't that stingy to not gift Olivia a tier 2 bloodline as their price tag rarely goes above 10 million SC.
Too bad, Olivia was sharp enough to notice that Felix's behavior was unordinary. He rarely bothered to stay a single minute with them after the training, don't even mention asking to accompany him on his own.
"Are you coming or not?" Not wanting to entangle with her, Felix left an ultimatum before heading to his room. He was going to buy her a bloodline whether she came or not.
He just believed that it was better for her to choose a bloodline on her own.
"Fine, message me when you are leaving." In the end, Olivia agreed.
...
Two hours later...
In Looby's shop, Olivia was staring with a dazed expression at 30 different bloodline bottles, all placed neatly on a desk. They all had an >EPIC RANK

Felix was nowhere to be seen, as only Looby was standing next to her while rubbing his hands with a silly grin.
"Come on Miss, don't be shy." Looby picked a bottle and displayed its details, "This is Alyssum's Night bloodline, taken from an aggressive plant beast, which hunts for blood at night." He smiled sheepishly, "It's only for 9 million SC."
Seeing that Olivia was still unresponsive, Looby put that one and carried another one, "How about the White Ash Tree? Its peak ability is able to put everyone around you to sleep for ten seconds! And it is just for 10 million SC."
"Still nothing?" Looby murmured as he put the bottle back on the desk. Instead of showing her another bottle, he went upstairs.
"So? Did she pick anything yet?"
Surprisingly, Felix was sipping from a cup of coffee while browsing through a shelf, that was packed with potions of all sizes and shapes.
"No, she is still standing as you left her." Looby scratched his long blue ear in dissatisfaction, "Did you bring her here to look down on my products?"
"Just leave her be, she will come to terms with her fate." Felix waved his hand dismissively before carrying a green potion in his hand, "How much is this going to cost me if bought in bulk?"
"That's Tonic of Enhanced Reflexes potion, 5 million SC per bottle." Looby displayed a big calculator, "If you bought 5 bottles, you will get a 2% discount on the total. Which means..." He started calculating, "24,500,000 SC!"
"You forgot my permanent 5% discount." Nonchalant, Felix reminded him while picking another potion, "Count properly next time, or I will lessen my bloodline bottles payment down to a week."
"Now, now brother Felix, no need to go that far." Looby immediately entered his flattery mode, "Your gracious self has already bestowed upon me a month delay. Let's keep it that way."
Three days before, when Bodidi brought Felix's his energy stones, Felix gave him the four filtered bottles to be taken to Looby.
Since Felix's hunter contract entailed that Looby needed to pay the full amount upfront, he was always struggling to fulfill it, as Felix kept bringing him bottles in short intervals.
Hence, the one month delay.
"How about a bulk of this?" Felix shook a spherical golden potion before Looby, which had three wings logo on its lid.
"Angel Wings? Let me check my stock." Looby tapped rapidly on a screen for a second before replying, "I only have two of them."
"Alright." Felix swiped his finger left on the potion, making it get registered on his shopping cart that was already filled with many potions and bottles. Some had a large quantity reaching 10 while some were in twos and threes.
All of them were for battles, utility, and survival. As for integration materials? Looby didn't sell them in his shop as his products were mainly targeting high leveled bloodliners or VIP personals, besides bloodlines of course.
For rejuvenation potions and such, they were a common commodity that could be found in other shops.
"Wrap everything up and give me the price." Felix said while returning to one of the leather armchairs that was next to the door.
After he sat down, he requested the Queen, 'Please give me the total price of those products.'
By the time he finished his request, the Queen already calculated and gave her response, '67 million SC.'
Thankfully for both parties, Looby didn't try to pull any tricks and said the same price as the Queen. Felix didn't wire him anything as he told him to cut it from what he owned him.
Although he was dissatisfied, Looby could only agree obediently and send him the serial codes of the products.
After getting them, Felix went downstairs, wanting to check on Olivia's choice.
When he brought her to this forsaken shop, he told her that the moment a customer stepped inside, he would be required to buy something. Otherwise, they get banned and who brought them for life.
Olivia didn't believe him at first, but after asking Looby, she was dumbfounded that he actually supported Felix's claim.
Of course, Looby was already informed by Felix before they even reached the shop, forcing him to take part in his charade.
Felix had to go to such an extent for Olivia as he knew that it would even more troublesome to just convince her to accept a gift willingly.
It was easier to manipulate her than to convince her stubborn resolve on denying gifts.
"Oh, What did you pick?" Intrigued, Felix asked with a smile after seeing Olivia holding into a bottle while sulking.
However, after hearing his voice, Olivia instantly placed the bottle down and shook her head vehemently, "It's too expensive! I will just pick something cheap from the shelves."
Felix ignored what she said, as he picked the bottle that she placed down and started reading its details in focus.
After seeing that the abilities pool had supportive buffs and most of all many healing abilities, he nodded his head satisfaction.
"Not bad." Felix said while throwing the bottle to Looby, making him catch it reflexively. "Add two of those to my cart and deducted the payment from your debt."
Looby kept mumbling to himself in annoyance at not getting a single coin from the entire transaction while tapping on his screen.
"Should I send you the serial code or her?" Looby asked.
"Send it to me." Felix replied.
Ti-ring!
The deal was concluded in a couple of seconds, not letting Olivia even voice her disapproval. She just kept looking absent-mindedly at Felix's indifferent face, as he threw 20 million SC for her like it was peanuts to him.
The elders were struggling to buy Noah a single cheap tier 2 epic bloodline bottle while Felix could buy two bottles of the best tier 2 epic plant bloodlines in the shop.
She didn't know how Felix managed to get so many coins, and she wasn't planning on asking. Unless Felix brought the subject by himself, she would never start grilling him on it as the elders did.
'He really changed a lot.' She pursed her lips at his back, thinking that he was getting nicer than he used to. She didn't know if he got nicer to everyone or it was just her.
Alas, she soon found out her answer.

Chapters are what I consider to be short, and I hope to finish the book quickly. PS: Is it better to have no cover, or a generic cover? Let me know if you read this.

YAOS 1 - Limitless Adventures - Yet Another OP Story Book 1
December 23rd 2018: Book 1 is now up at Smashwords and at Amazon. December 30th 2018: V1.1.2 of YAOS Book 1 is out, some content additions, fixed typos. Amazon's enhanced typesetting now displays tables properly. YAOS is shown through the eyes of some genius athlete getting OP inside a VR, ah wait, Full Immersion game, ?F.I.O?. Not a Hero, not a Nerd, just a driven individual paying for mistakes made, biding time until he can return to the Real World. He isn't defined like you'd normally do it, you can pick his looks and name all on your own, just like you do in video games. Believe it or not, keeping his looks undefined is harder than you think. His backstory isn't expounded in detail, but it drives his choices. Book 1 isn't about depressing sob stories but about fun and rushing forward, pursuing new horizons. Oh, and you'll end on a cliffhanger! Well, most serials do, so you will probably expect that without being told explicitly. But it isn't that bad, there's a lot of reveals and more to come once this book, that is the first in a planned three-part series, is finally ready for release on amazon et al. The published version will have: 1.) Godawful speaker tags, I hate them, they make you stop thinking and speed up editing so much. In hindsight they should have been in to begin with. But I stand by my goals proclaimed earlier. You guys should think while reading, that is the whole point of the exercise. Apply the knowledge and ideas, improve yourself, get creative! 2.) Pretty colored tables, the damned blue boxes, a lot of work, 69 in one book. Finally fixed amazon's centering issue. Can't say I liked the hours needed to debug that. 3.) The promised Mitara chapters. 4.) A cover! 5.) And lastly, updated polished versions of several chapters. MC shares more of his past, some terrible chapters (esp. 32) finally work. Some new scenes, minor rewrites in parts. Text flow and other issues. The current challenge is to maintain essential ambiguity while satisfying people wanting to know more without thinking three steps ahead. Balancing one with the other is tough. The smut which was in remains, but the story told is not to be superseded by it. A 15+ rating for the first book is also important, not to mention, YAOS wasn't meant to contain any smut to begin with. If the Author can turn to writing full time his output should increase, so please support YAOS #1 once it does finally release. ~Thank You~ No maps so far, that should be in, but is really hard to get done right. Again, tips are appreciated. Update September 2017: Stubbed chapters, sorry guys, currently don't have time to upload them elsewhere, polishing book 1 and 2, writing 3, takes precedence. Book 1 is in heavy editing, too much to keep synced and continuing editing. I'd need a site which offers JS-free rapid managing of chapters and comments. Coding one myself or setting a premade up is out of scope until I'm done with the books. RRL-old offered that, nuff said. This is only here because the author believes in fairies, nobody reads this, most likely. October to December 2017: Life threw some curveballs. February 2018: Book 2 draft 1 completed, at ~150K words. Book 2 is fairly epic in scope, requires 1 rewritten chapter, some editing. Tables and miscellanea are in, but needs at least a grammar pass. March 2018: Book 3 at 28k words, first arc, rest needs serious planning for spin-off and satisfying conclusion. July 2018: Yet another proofing/editing session of books 1-3, 101+ chapters, ~300k words. B3 at 48k, starts out great, but no ETA, no wordcount limit, in flux. But prioritizing my writing cannot be done, I hate the delays as much as you, but you will prefer the whole released in a timely fashion rather than wait. Knowing myself how excruciating waiting can be, at least you'll get significantly polished versions and an ETA on book 2 by release of book 1. December 23rd 2018: Book 1 is now up at Smashwords and in the process at Amazon et. al.. . To all who wait patiently, offered feedback, thanks again!
