Extra 3: The Strange Uncle

This was a story from while back when I was out visiting the shopping mall with my friend.

We rode a bus from our campus; that day rain poured down rather relentlessly.

Instead of taking a long way around, we stopped near an elite high school. Right in front was the side entrance to a lavish apartment complex. The roads end up at the mall's back entrance, where my friend, who walked up front, folded his umbrella in front of the lobby for the apartment complex's office. As it's just a short walk to the mall's lobby; canopied by the ceiling covers.

He didn't notice the water splashing against the uncle who stood there.

It was kind of quiet; probably just us walking at the moment.

The main question, what would my friend do?

Apologize?

What would the uncle do?

Yell at him and told him not to do it again?

That's what would normally happen, but no.

The uncle just stood there while staring blankly at my friend.

While my friend walked there back in forth, unable to guess what was wrong with that uncle.

I had no idea either.

We simply gave up and walked past him.

We never meet him again, right after that. Although I suck at remembering faces so take my words with a seed of marijuana.
