Adrius followed the message as the magus told him, then the message led him to a brick wall. At first Adrius thought that the message was lost but then a scene happened that made Adrius’ eyes open wide. The message spoke, it spoke some words in the Xyron language and the brick wall started to open like a door.

The message went through the door and Adrius followed, when he entered the door behind him shut itself, but he couldn’t care less about it because the scene that was in front of him made him speechless. It was a laboratory, it had jars filled with some kind of liquid and in that liquid there are some human parts and animal parts.

“Ahm”

Adrius heard a voice and looked at the owner of it, he was a middle aged man with pale skin and black hair. But the most frightening thing about him is his eyes, there was no white in them they were all black like a demon's eyes.

When the man saw Adrius attention come to him he spoke.

“ Adrius Caseo welcome I’m your new mentor, you can call me professor Croft,” Said Croft with a welcoming gesture.

Adrius bowed a little and said

“ It is an honor to be a student of yours, thank you for this opportunity and I hope I won’t disappoint you.”

“Good, now I want you to go to your assigned room and rest, tomorrow we will start with lessons and training” After Croft said that he gave Adrius a key to his room with the map to it, then he dismissed Adrius.

Adrius walked to his new room and opened it, he was surprised because his room was very big, he had a king size bed and a reading place and a working place. Of course he needed to buy all of the equipment that he will use for his experiment. Or he can borrow them from someone, but the first one is a lot safer.

Adrius was tired from the journey and just wanted to sleep so he went to close the door but before he could close it someone screamed at him to stop. Adrius thought it was an attack so he took out his sword and stood in a fighting position. On the trip he was always on the edge because of that person who was planning against him, he may seem calm to the others but inside he was a mess with everything happening. So when he heard someone screaming at him to stop, he followed his instinct and pulled his sword.

Adrius got out to face the person who screamed at him and he was surprised that it was a girl. She had no weapon in her hand so Adrius relaxed a little. When the girl saw Adrius come out with a sword in his hand and ready to use it she was shocked for a sec but then she understood something, if someone screams at you to stop when you are unprepared you will think it is an attack.

“ Ah I’m sorry I didn’t mean to scare you, I was just trying to know you because we are neighbors” Said the girl with an apologetic look on her face.

When Adrius heard that he sheathed his sword again and said.

“ That's what it was, my name Is Adrius. What is yours?”

“Emilia”

“Nice to meet you, and goodbye. Don’t ever do that again!” Said Adrius in his calm manner, but his tone was so cold that it made Emilia shiver.

Then he went inside his room and closed the door.

‘ “huff” That was scary, kinda cute but still scary’ thought Emilia to herself, then she walked into her room too.

When Adrius closed his room, he went straight to his bed and layed. In mere seconds he was sleeping like a baby.

Next morning Adrius woke up at 8:00 o’clock and took a shower, wore his clothes and headed down to Croft’s laboratory. When he was in front of the brick wall again he knocked on it and the door opened. He walked in and found Croft reading a book, when Adrius walked in he put down the book and looked up.

“Hmm I think that I should make you something so you can enter the laboratory with it” Said Croft

“ But can’t I just use Xyron language instead?” Asked Adrius

“No you can’t right now because you are still a mortal, when you become a level 1 magus apprentice then you can use Xyron language. Speaking of magus apprentice there are 4 levels that you should know and focus on from now on. 1-3 Magus apprentice and then there is magus level 1 or official magus.” Answard Croft

“Professor what level are you at?”

“ I’m at rank 1”

“Do we have anyone who is rank 2?”

“Yes it is our head master”

‘ As expected, the south region that we are in is divided into smaller regions because it is so big, and this region that I was born into is the weakest of them all.’ Thought Adrius to himself, but he was happy because the weaker the region is the weaker the enemies were.

“ Ok then let’s start with the first lesson, in this lesson we will talk about the meditation techniques. First when you use a magical meditation technique your body strength will automatically drop by half, don’t worry that is only for the first time. You can raise it again with a meditation technique if you want, and there are some spells that will make you stronger by using them. There are different types of meditation techniques like darkness,fire, lightning or something else. From your file you have a high affinity to darkness element so you will train in darkness element meditation technique. As how this technique works it takes magic around you but you will only take the darkness particles. Now take this meditation technique, this will help you reach rank 3 magus apprentice” After explaining everything Croft gave Adrius a book with the technique in it.

“ You can go now and start cultivating” Dismissed Croft.

Adrius walked back to his room and immediately sat cross legged on his bed and started following the technique instructions.

After 5 minutes Adrius could feel something in the air, it was very small but he felt it, he started to draw them into himself like the technique said, then he felt his body lose it’s power because it cannot withstand all of this. After 6 hours when a certain amount of magic energy entered his body he felt the most satisfying feeling he ever felt in his life. When he opened his eyes he still can feel the magic in the air and he felt that some of his senses became stronger, not by a lot but still a prograss.

He has become magus apprentice rank 1.
