Adrius then exited her mind and saw the look on her face, her eyes were tearing and she wore a loving smile on her face.

He asked her then with all the concern he could muster: “ Veronica, Love, why are you crying?”

She wiped her eyes and smiled: “ I think I just saw the future, I saw our baby boy between us sleeping.”

Adrius hugged her and didn’t say anything.

She then broke the hug to ask him: “ Adrius, what was that weird thing you made my drink yesterday?”

He kept his eyes on her when he answered to make her believe that he was honest: “ You remember that you wanted a baby yesterday” When she nodded he continued: “ You see, I can’t stay here too long, and I will probably be forced to take a mission that could take months or years to finish, so I thought to give you something to make you always remember me in. And that thing you drank yesterday was a fertilizing potion, it makes getting pregnant easier.”

He saw her face drop when he mentioned that he would leave shortly, but it disappeared immediately when he spoke of the potion.

Both of their heads immediately shot to the voice owner, she was coming in and closing the door. Her blonde hair was not braided and she wore only a thin nightgown. Alison Saloman looked at their shocked faces when she discarded her nightgown and climbed into the bed.
