Chasing After My Wife Chapter 193

Soon, it was Saturday. Jillyanna ended up resting for three days due to Travis' insistence. He would bath her, feed her, change her clothes, tie her hair, carry her to wherever she wanted to go around the house.
Every afternoon, he would give her a massage to relieve her from the pain on her back, thighs and waist. He was very attentive to every little detail of her needs.
Just like this day, he was bathing her again like a young child who needs attentive care.
"I told you I'm fine already. Why are you such a worrywart?" Jillyanna poked his shoulders while speaking under the shower head.
"Nope you are not. When you tried standing up earlier, you wobbled." Travis retorted to her which made her roll her eyes in ridicule.
"Seriously? I wobbled because my legs were numb from not doing anything. Everyone else would feel the same." She told him, trying to sound reasonable and helpless at the same time.
"You mentioned few days ago that you won't involve yourself in trouble. In my part, I am afraid that you'll find trouble wherever you go."
"Look, I am not going somewhere far. I just want to look around the hacienda again." Jillyanna responded with hopeful eyes. "Can I?"
Travis looked at her without even blinking. Jillyanna shrugged her shoulders and looked down on her feet. "Are you really really really okay? You don't feel any pain at all?" he asked her, concern and worry were evident on his voice and she felt guilty for worrying him so much.
"I am really fine. I can walk and do work on my own. You took care of me these past three days and I am doing good now. What am I going to do to prove it?"

"Can we do another round of our night affair?"
Jillyanna widened her eyes and started feeling embarrassed again. "We can't do that. I don't want to stay in bed for the next three days again."
"I was just joking." Travis responded to her with merriment in his eyes. "I'll walk with you to look around the hacienda after breakfast."
"Thank you." Jillyanna smiled from ear to ear upon hearing his agreement. She even wore the bathrobe by herself and walk out without him carrying her again. It was to prove that she was really doing good.
Travis just watched her walk with a smile on his face. He knew she was already fine but he just like to pamper her and take care of her which was why he insisted her to rest for three days.
After dressing herself and putting on her sunscreen, she waited for Travis to finish taking his shower. Since the time she announced her resignation from being an online singer and idol, Jillyanna stopped going online. Most of the time, she'll be reading e-books about parenting and pregnancy. Travis would do the same when he's not working.
When he was all set and ready, they went out to have their breakfast. Thomas was reading the newspaper while drinking his coffee.
"Morning Uncle." Jillyanna greeted him and sat on the chair next to Travis. She noticed that Thomas was throwing her an inquisitive look and that's when she realized her mistake. "Sorry Dad. I was used to calling you uncle before."
Thomas smiled at her before drinking his cup of coffee. "That's fine. You'll get used to this knew way of calling me soon. By the way, when will you register your marriage? We still have to formally asked your parents."

"How about Monday?" Travis asked Jillyanna while putting on some rice on her plate.
"Monday to register or Monday to ask them?" she clarified.
"We can ask them in the morning and register our marriage in the afternoon." he responded.
"Sounds like a good plan to me. I am fine with that." she commented before she started eating her food. "I am so happy to finally eat rice again."
"We'll have rice for breakfast since it is the most important meal of the day. During lunch and dinner, I'll figure out some recipes with less fats and carbo." Travis informed her.
Jillyanna just nodded her head in agreement. She knew that he will always look after the best things for her so she won't have to worry.
"Do you want to hold a little celebration for your marriage registration? We can have a little banquet for friends and families." Thomas suggested to them since they never spoke about it.
"Why not? Let's do that then." Travis agreed without any hesitations.
"Hn. Leave it to me. I'll prepare a banquet here at home. We'll have it at around seven in the evening."
"Thank you unc - Thank you Dad." She corrected immediately, making Travis and Thomas smile happily with her response.
After their breakfast, true to his words, Travis brought Jillyanna around the hacienda which was one kilometer away from the mansion.
He parked his car near the large barn house and helped her out. "Just the same as I last remembered it." She commented to herself while looking around the place.
"Oh! It's still here!" She exclaimed and walked towards the swing which was attached to a branch of a mango tree. "I never expected that this would still be here until now. This tree has grown so big."
"You've been here before?" Travis asked her because she never mentioned it to him.
She nodded her head, eyes brimming with cheerfulness as she looked above her. "Your father made this for me when I first visited this place."
"He made this for you? I thought this was made by the workers for their children." Travis told her of what he thought. "He didn't even make one for me when I was young."
"Stop being jealous. He made this for me to cheer me up." She sat on the swing which was newly painted by the workers.
"Good morning ma'am Jillyanna. Welcome back! Morning sir Travis." a middle aged woman greeted them.
"Good morning auntie Vergie." She greeted back to the lady.
