For how many years, the burden in her heart that she had been carrying was finally lifted. She could finally live her life with less worry and trouble.

Jillyanna stayed silent all throughout the travel time on her way back to the hospital. Her mind was preoccupied with thoughts about her heart surgery which will happen in the next few months.

"How was it? Did everything go according to plan?" Shein asked her who came to visit Jillyanna alone. Riley and Jackie were still resting since they stayed awake the previous night.

Jillyanna approached the younger man,putting one of her hands on his shoulder while the other was messing up with his soft hair. "Thanks for helping me. I know I could really count on you. I should have asked you to do this years ago."

"Oh c'mon sis. If you asked me to do this years ago, we would still be stuck with no leads. I am not that great few years back." Shein honestly responded which made Jillyanna smile even more. For someone with great computer skills, Shein wasn't someone arrogant and boastful. He would never claim himself as no.1 even though he topped the World Hacker's Organization, this was something Jillyanna knew but she never asked them to do anything for her before. She just wanted them to live a normal life - a promise that she broke.

"Alright. If you say you are not, then you are not." Jillyanna took one slice of the apple and went back to sit on the couch where her mother was sitting. "Did something happen while I was gone? Did the doctor bring any good news?"

Sky looked at her daughter before shaking her head which Jillyanna didn't really mind. "It's fine. He will wake up soon. Maybe not today but perhaps tomorrow or the next day."

Jillyanna didn't dwell on it but she will wait no matter how long it will take her. "I won't be going to work, so you can go home and rest mom. You've been taking care of him for me these past weeks and I am grateful for that. However, you need to take care of the man at home, too."

For someone who has two married daughters, Sky would always blush when they would talk about Alex. It was clearly seen in her eyes just how much she loves her husband. "Stop talking nonsense. He can perfectly take care of himself."

"But his hands will be tired." Jillyanna commented while taking out her laptop so she can do some work in the hospital.

Sky wanted to say something to her daughter but the door swung open, Brown and Valkyrie were standing there, looking at Jillyanna happily.

"I did it!" Brown exclaimed and ran towards Jillyanna to give her a hug. "I am glad you didn't have to do anything in that matter. I don't want to be questioned by Travis once he is awake." He then turned to Sky, "Hello Auntie." Sky just smiled at him.

Shein knew exactly what he was talking about so he popped Brown's bubbles. "What do you mean she didn't have to do anything? Didn't you know that she exposed many police officials because they won't approve the search and arrest warrant? She had to ask Hawk, Savannah and the twins to rescue the chief's family from being hostage. She was the one who sent the letter to the regional director's office. So, how come it was considered nothing?"

Brown's jaw dropped and his eyes were bulging from shock. If possible, his eye balls would have come out from his eye socket. It was truly surprising to him. He took a step away from Jillyanna to put some distance between them.

'Cough! Cough! Cough!' he coughed exaggeratedly as if to expel the awkwardness. "I didn't know that. Sigh! What should I do if ever Travis will ask?"

"Don't say anything because he won't ask." Jillyanna answered him with a smile. "I am glad that both of you are fine. You should go home for now to take a rest."

"Hn. We will come and visit you guys some other time." Valkyrie stated, pulling Brown out of the room so that they could go back to the mansion.

"I will head out as well." Sky informed Jillyanna, taking her bag and phone with her.

"Bye mom! Take good care of Daddy." she reminded her mother which earned her a glare. "Hahahaha!" she could only laugh at the departing of her blushing mother.

"You will be working?" Shein asked her, done with the apples and were now eating them while looking outside the window.

"I have to work to make sure that he won't be overwhelmed with task once he's back to normal." Jillyanna uttered while going through the pending tasks she had.

Shein watched her and his heart ached for her. 'How far can you go for the man you love?' He asked mentally. Not everyone was like Jillyanna who would fight desperately even if the chances were very small. She just don't know how to give up easily.

"Sis, aren't you hurting yourself? Do you really think that Travis will wake up? There's not even a single response from the different stimuli the doctor conducted. Aren't you being selfish to him?" Shein asked her calmly, stopping Jillyanna from opening a file but it didn't take long before she resumed working.

"I don't care if I am being selfish. I don't care if I am hurting myself. If some patients woke up after months to years from being coma, why not give my husband a chance? I don't care about the hospital fees as long as I can get him back."

Shein nodded his head, expressing his understanding. If the situation was reversed and it was Riley who would be lying on the hospital bed, he would be doing the same thing, too.

"Oh! Who were those guys by the way?" Shein changed the topic to lighten up the gloomy atmosphere.

"The person who hugged me was Evan a.k.a Brown. The other one was Matthew a.k.a Valkyrie. Just call them by their codename because of some confidential matter."

"They depicted your preferred novels - BL." Shein really knew her. Hearing the word BL made Jillyanna smiled foolishly. Her worries were gone just what Shein wants.
