Even though she was auditioning as the second-female lead, the character has a very big role since she'd grow up with the male lead, female lead and the second-male lead.

They were all trained to become an assassin and spies against their neighboring countries and the most heart-breaking scene was when Riley's character killed everyone inside the ball.

"Heh! You all plotted against me from the very beginning, didn't you?" Riley swirled her hand in front if her as if she was holding a wine glass. "You sent me to take the most difficult missions. You sent me to take lives. You sent me knowing the traps are awaiting for me to die. You sent me alone thinking I'd die for sure. Surprising that I'm alive isn't it?" Her words were called and her hollow laughters gave goosebumps to their skins.

"Did you really think I'm easy to kill? Who do you think raised me and taught me secretly? Did you really think I'm a weakling?" Her eyes were turning red as she was about to cry. "For this country I risked my life! But what did I get? Nothing! You all betrayed me! You are all liars!"

Her shouts and yells startled everyone inside the room. Her emotions were so overwhelming and the hatred in her eyes were apparent. It seemed real.

"Go get two stunt fighters and let's see if she has basic fighting skills." the director murmured and didn't stop Riley from her acting.

The assistant asked the two stunt fighters who stayed in the back room with their props like knives and toy guns.

Riley saw the two men and her smile was even more devilish. She didn't even give them time to react when she ran with her heels towards them and slid through the gap between men. With her free hands, she knocked of their knees, making them kneel on the floor.

The other man was quick to move and rolled over to the other side. Riley didn't stop and attack him again. The man who exchanged blows with her was shocked. Her strength wasn't fake!

"God! You're a fighter!" the man commented while attacking her with a knife.

"I know." With a last move, Riley swung her legs and gave him a round kick, hitting the man on his chest, falling on the floor with his back.

The director was speechless so he just stood up and clapped his hands. The other was doing the same thing and that's when Riley realized that her audition was over.

"Oh gosh! That was a nice fight!" she exclaimed happily and reached out her hand to help the man stand back up. "I haven't fought for a long time."

The man was stupefied once again. He could only smile at her and leave the room so that they can continue their matters.

"Why do you want to join this movie by the way?" It was the writer who asked Riley, her eyes were sparkling with glee and she looked really happy as if she found a rare gem.

"Because it is an action movie. I always want to be part of an action movie or series because I think I belong in that area."

"I can see that in you." the director agreed. "I didn't even expect to see that you can fight well in that dress. That was really amazing."

"Thank you. I didn't expect to receive high praises either." Riley scratched the tips of her nose awkwardly. "This is my first official acting after all and hearing praises from you made me think that my sister was lying to me. Hahaha"

"Your sister?"

"Yup. She said that my acting is very poor. Anyway, am I rejected or am I accepted." Riley asked nervously with an awkward smile.

The director sighed deeply which made everyone turn their head towards him. "I'm sorry Ms. Summer but you are rejected for this role."

Riley clicked her tongue before nodding her head. "That's alright. Failing once doesn't mean I will fail forever. Thank you for your time." She bowed at them which made the director smile. He just wanted to see her reaction if she gets rejected, as expected, she didn't make a fuss over it.

"Anyway, Ms. Summer, I am indeed rejecting your audition for this role. How about you play the female lead instead?"

"Huh?"

"Huh?"

Riley and everyone had the same reaction to his words. 'Female lead?' she tried processing his words again and again. "You want me to play the female lead?"

"Yes."

"Aren't you afraid that you won't earn anything because of me?"

"I'm afraid that I have to make more action movies to keep your time occupied with my work."

Riley smiled happily as she nodded her head. "I will do my best for this movie." She bowed her head once again and left the room.

"Her sister called her acting poor? I can't believe her sister would do that."

"Maybe her sister is really good in acting."

"Probably."

They couldn't help but discuss among themselves their opinions towards Riley's audition.

When Riley got out, she sighed and walked towards her manager. "I didn't get the role." She spoke flatly and took her purse to send Shein a message.

"That's fine." Wynwyn gently pat her back and led her out of the audition hall, to get back to their car.

When they got inside the car, Shein's call came and his loud voice could be heard faintly on the other end of the line.

"Really? You got the female-lead instead? That's great! Sis would be so happy to hear that." Shein happily chatted with her on the phone.

"Of course. I am so glad I joined this movie. I'm looking forward to the action scene."

"I knew it. That's really what you are after. Congrats again! I'll get back to work for now. I'll see you tonight "

"See you." When the call ended, Riley saw a stern-looking Wynwyn beside her. "What's the matter?"

"Why didn't you tell me you got accepted for the female-lead instead?"

"Because I have to let the most important person know about it first before I tell you. So there you go, I am going to play the female-lead."

Wynwyn flicked Riley's forehead before starting the car to drive away from the place.
