Chasing After My Wife Chapter 277

Everyday, everyone would visit Travis to make sure that he is really doing fine. They have been doing the same thing for three days but there wasn't even a shadow of the woman he was waiting for.
Until night fell, Jillyanna who just recovered from bruises arrived at the airport. News of Travis recovering from the accident was all over the big screens. Jillyanna knew long ago that he recovered fine but she can't just go back with bruises or she would be an additional worry to him.
Her joy couldn't be hidden behind the shadows of her bull cap. She strolled out of the airport but many people still saw her familiar figure.
"Is that our goddess YNA?"
"I guess. It looks like her."
"It can't be her. Her husband is currently at the hospital and I doubt it if she would go on a trip alone."
"Makes sense."
Just like that, murmurs and gossips fade away. They didn't bother her but they couldn't rest their minds either from the leaving figure.
Jillyanna boarded a taxi when she got out and called Shein after. She knew her brother would be at the hospital because he would protect the person who's important to her.
At the hospital, Shein was sitting on the couch with his leg crossed over the other. He looked poised and comfortable in his position while Riley played on her phone beside him.
Suddenly, his phone rang and his sister's name was displayed on the screen. He picked it up immediately without bothering to hide whatever conversation they will have.
"Hey sis! Where are you?! Come back immediately because your husband is bullying me." Shein grumbled and complained, not bothered with the stares that everyone threw at him.
Jillyanna on the other side chuckled in his childish actions. She knew that it would most likely be the other way around. Shein was no longer the child who would keep quiet when everyone bullies him. He knew how to retaliate now.

"Don't bully my husband too much. He is still recovering. If you bully him, you will lose the most important brother place in my heart."
"I knew I'm the no.1 in your heart." Shein glanced at Travis with a grin to see how he would react but Travis remained still on his bed, not caring about his provoking words.
When the call ended, Shein stood up on his seat and went out. "Where is my wife?" Travis called out to him.
"Why should I tell you? Didn't you say you don't want anything from me? Tsk!"
Riley who heard their conversation rolled her eyes. Even if Shein was her boyfriend, she couldn't allow her big brother to be stressed out.
"Big bro,.." Riley called Travis with a smile. "Sis is on her way already. She asked Shein earlier how are you doing but this idiot wanted to tease you. I'm sorry on his behalf." Riley bowed her head in front of Travis which shocked everyone of them. They knew how important these children to Jillyanna and it seemed like they were bullying them even though it's the other way around.
Shein looked back in shock for what Riley did and he felt guilty that she has to apologize because of his bullying. He went inside and grabbed Riley's hand. "Don't apologize to him."
Riley glared at him but he remained emotionless. 'Sigh. This childish idiot would really get in my nerves sometimes. But I still love you no matter what.'
"Why are you looking at me like that? What are you thinking?" Shein asked, this time his voice contained sadness and worry.
"I'm thinking of throwing you out of the window." Riley smiled but her eyes were spitting fire. She then turned to Travis once again. "Big bro, we will go out first to pick our sister."

"Okay. Be careful. If something happens, save yourself and just leave that idiot beside you."
Everyone in the room remained silent. They were happy to see him fine but they couldn't help themselves to stop their stifled laughters.
Ever since he woke up, he didn't ask anyone's help. He wouldn't initiate a conversation but he would always pick on Shein. It feels like they have enmity with each other even though they didn't know each other in the past.
Only Savannah and Shein knew why he was picking on Shein. It was because Jillyanna told him 'I love you' when he woke up one time.
Before they could even go out, Jillyanna came in with her suitcase.
"That was fast! Did you grab the car and drove it yourself?" Shein asked while checking her for injury or bruises.
"I didn't but I did ask the driver to drive to the maximum limit." Jillyanna answered before walking towards Travis.
On his bed, he still looked emaciated but she can see the life swirling in his eyes. Jillyanna walked slowly towards him. "I heard that you've forgotten everyone here. Did you forget about me, too?"
Her stinging nose twitched as she tried to stop herself from crying. Her hands were shaking and she didn't dare step closer to him. She might flip his bed if he dared to forget her.
Travis looked at her eyes, her nose, her lips and her whole face before he shifted his gaze to her stomach. He opened his arms for a hug and Jillyanna threw herself over with tears falling on her face.
"I'm glad I successfully protected you and our baby. I am happy that you are doing fine. I was really worried when you're not here."
Jillyanna kept crying on his arms. She lost the words she wanted to say and she only wanted to feel his warmth through his hug.
"I'm sorry if I worried you." Travis mumbled while caressing her hair.
"I'm glad you didn't forget me." Jillyanna finally spoke after sometime. "I was scared when I heard that you couldn't remember everyone here."
"I couldn't forget you because you keep on crying in my dreams."

The Archaic Elements
A fantasy world, its own unique power-up system, some mystery aspects to make it look interesting and an MC that should make sense but well messes up, cause plot. Flashy fights. Characters will use their brain, unless it is an arrogant young master that needs to be taught a lesson. The starting is slow and maybe boring. The main MC does not desire great strength or harbor any great ambition. He starts out as a naive, lazy and a boring person. But the story does hold one aspect which will fuel the growth of our MC, which is his boundless curiosity for adventure and his will to explore. The second MC is a reincarnation/transmigration and he has a clear cut aim that he needs to achieve. His past life experiences also becomes a pillar that will help guide the main MC, while his friend also supports him. The writing is slow and steady. I will provide reasonings behind most happenings and keep it a logical story. It's a WIP as I edit the previous chapters even as I release more, so while the content doesn't change, the style and smoothness improve. The current release rate is 3 chapter/week. There is no specific date as I can get sidetracked or forgetful., but I will try to stick to Tues, Thurs and Sunday releases.

Natural Alchemist
Will is poor. This is a fact he does not like about himself. Even back at his home village he was considered poor, but poor in the big city means something completely different than poor in a small village... It means ten hour days of hard manual labor with barely enough money to survive, and poor living conditions. He's sick of it, and desperate for change. Perhaps that was what made him decide to spend such a large portion of his savings on a mysterious potion from that beggar... That, and it seemed so special when he held it. But ever since that day, he's been having the strangest dreams... And the work is really starting to take a toll on his body... Author's Note: I wasn't sure which mature content warnings I should put on this novel, as I'm pretty much pantsing the story. I'm putting them there mostly as a percaution, but also to not limit myself as to where the story can go. This is my first time writing and publishing anything substantial. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
