Chasing After My Wife Chapter 290

"How is he?" Thomas asked Brown when he came down from Jillyanna's room. He was very worried for his son just like everyone else in the room.
"Don't worry uncle, RV is fine. He just remembered something shocking to him. We just need him to rest in their room.
Everyone sighed with relief upon hearing them. If they were worried that much, how much more did Jillyanna felt?
Jillyanna was lying on the bed beside Travis. She was holding his hand while she looked at his sleeping face.
When it was time for lunch, she went down and ate with everyone. It would be disrespectful to just leave them on their own when they came over to celebrate Travis' recovery.
"Are you sure it's fine for you to come down? He might wake up soon." Wynwyn asked Jillyanna who was eating slowly with her food.
"It's fine. I would know if he's awake so it is not a problem." she looked at everyone in front of her and smiled faintly. "Thank you so much for coming. It's really a big help for Travis."
"No problem Jill. Just let us know if you need some help." Diego responded to her.
"Correct. Travis is our friend and it's our time to help him now." Wynwyn stated as she threw a playful wink towards Jillyanna.
They continued to eat and chat around the table like nothing happened. They didn't want to worry so much because it would only add pressure to Jillyanna. They wanted her to feel comfortable and have less worry in her mind.
While they ate, Jillyanna received a call and a smile spread on her lips. "I'm in the kitchen right now, do you want me to bring something for you?"
Everyone turned towards her and kept silent to listen in to their conversation. It was clear that she was talking to Travis.

"He's awake?!" Cheska exclaimed happily. She clasped her hands together and she was really relieved. Everyone else were happy, too.
Jillyanna listened to whatever Travis said before she ended the call. "Excuse me for awhile. I'll have to get back to my husband first." She left her food and went inside the kitchen to get a glass of water before she walked back inside her room.
"How are you feeling?" Jillyanna asked while handing him the glass of water. Travis was currently sitting on their bed while looking at his phone.
"I'm fine. I finally understood the memories I got earlier."
"I see. Don't worry, I'll be here whenever you remember unpleasant or pleasant things."
"Weren't you eating downstairs? You could've just come when you're done eating." Travis told her after gulping down the water.
"I can always change my food but I can't change my husband." This statement stunned him and a blush started to creep up on his face. He didn't know that men could feel that way but, Travis would always feel his heart racing with Jillyanna around him.
"Wifey, I just recovered from the shock and here you are, throwing sweet words that might give me a heart attack."
Jillyanna raised her eyebrow in question but her smile was from ear to ear and her eyes were sparkling like a dark sky littered with stars at night.
She was standing at the side of the bed, just a few inches away from him. With her sassy smile plastered on her face, Travis reached out his hand and pulled her down on the bed. He flipped her over and let her lie while he was hovering above her.
"Aren't you tired? What game are you playing this time?" Jillyanna just looked at him without any intention of spoiling his plans because she missed this side of him.

Travis looked at her with a wolf's smile. He was up to something mischievous again. "I just miss doing this with you."
"Oh? What else do you miss?"
"This.." he kissed the tip of her nose which made Jillyanna smile. "and these.." he kissed both her eyes and her eyebrows. "this one, too.." he kissed her forehead before he looked at her again. "I miss kissing you like this." He lowered his head once again, closing the gap between their lips and placed a light kiss on it.
Jillyanna wrapped her arms hands around his neck with a flush face. "I miss not just our kisses but everything about you."
Her words added fuel to what Travis already felt and he kissed her again. It wasn't just a light kiss this time, it was a kiss worth of one month's time.
He nibbled on her lower lips, danced with her tongue; telling her how much he loves her with just a kiss. Her lovely moans enticed him to do more but he knew his limit and it frustrated him.
After few minutes, Travis stopped and looked at her while gasping for air. "I hate this when I'm out of stamina."
Jillyanna chuckled beneath him at his words. For the first time, it was him who was running out of breath. "You can do it again when you recovered your strength. I won't be running away, anyway."
Travis pulled back from her and laid his body beside her. His hand was caressing her small baby bump while he looked at her. "I love you Jill. Heart, body and soul - I'm giving it all to you."
"I'll take care of it. I won't let anyone hurt it. Not anymore. There won't be a second time of that accident."
Travis trembled to feel that intense hatred coming off from her. He knew that she's strong and good with combat skills but he didn't know as to what extent her capability was.
Jillyanna closed her eyes and snuggled close to him. "Don't you want to come out? Everyone's here for you. Why don't we eat together with them?"
"Just give me a minute. It would be bad to let them see me like this." Jillyanna was confused with what he was talking about. She didn't see anything wrong with him.
Watching her confused state, Travis took hold of her free hand and placed it on a certain part of his body which was awakened from their kiss. "I need to calm it first."

A Man and His Greatsword
Michael Adkins is a unique 28-year-old man. Born with above average strength and emerald green eyes, he always wanted to live in a fantasy world. He was very much into fantasy light novels, manga, and anime, especially a certain one that involves a black armored man with a large greatsword. Michael always dreamed of going on an adventure in a fantasy world. On a whim, Michael is summoned by the god of Alorah, one of the fantasy worlds he had always read about! Alorah's God, Eden, gives Michael a choice of three bonuses and a custom class to take with him into Alorah. This is the start of Michael's fantasy adventures. P.S. This is my first novel, I'm writing this since there were little novels I've found with a main character that wields a greatsword. Don't expect anything good. There will be a lot of mistakes, so please help me with that! P.P.S The later chapters will (hopefully) be much less cringy than the early ones. Please give it a shot!

His mind then drifted imagining which one he would use the energy for. Should he use it on his eyes, so it shot a beam of laser, like a certain bespectacled mutant? Should he use it on his bones, so it regenerated infinitely, like a certain character from an anime? Should he use it on his brain, so he became a genius, like a scientist with a bald head? Or should he use it on his vital organ, so that he became the manliest person in the world? While he was imagining things, suddenly his ears felt pinched. "Ouch!" "Didn't mom already say you can't play with fire, you brat?!" There he realized, knowing that no matter what he chose, he was still a child in front of his mother.
