Chasing After My Wife Chapter 372

And it was proven that nobody can detect or tell what's the future awaiting for them.
When both of them calmed down and talked what was really inside their minds, held her hand and walked around the garden again.
They were about to stop at the fish pond when Jillyanna pulled Travis and walked the other way.
"Are we going back inside?" Travis asked her while keeping with her pace. Jillyanna didn't say a thing but she nodded her head. Just as she was about to step on the door leading to the interior of the hospital, a masculine yet worried voice called to stop her.
"Jillyanna? Is that you?"
She stopped on her track and looked back to see a handsome man walking towards her. His purplish white hair was long and shiny, tied at the bottom of his nape with a silver rubber band. Due to the shadow of the building and his long and thick lashes, she couldn't see his eyes clearly. But Jillyanna knew who exactly the person was and she didn't want to see him. Who would have thought that he would just suddenly show up?!
Jillyanna smiled sheepishly at the man while still holding Travis beside her. "It's been a long time Natsu. Why are you here?"
The man named Natsu smiled and walked closer to them. "One of my friends got hurt and I came to visit her. How are you?"
"My wife is feeling cold here. If you want to talk to her, you might as well do it inside the hospital room." Travis cut off their conversation and without waiting for the man's response, he led Jillyanna back to her room. He didn't forget to stake her claim because he felt that it was a new rival.

Jillyanna chuckled but she didn't say anything. She just leaned closer to Travis and got inside the elevator. Natsu also followed them but he pressed the third floor button.
"I can see that you are frail. I won't take much of your time for now. I'll just come and visit you again when you're alone." When the elevator door opened on the third floor, Natsu waved his hand at her. "See you my pikachu."
Jillyanna's mouth twitched and her hand was itching for a punch. Travis was also frowning beside her and his eyes were turbulent with different kinds of emotions.
Both of them didn't say anything and waited for the elevator to stopped at the VIP floor. And when it did, the atmosphere was rather gloomy even though they were still holding their hands.
Jackie who was waiting for them felt the weird atmosphere between them, too. "I brought your dinner. I'll go out for a while to visit a friend who's also admitted here."
It was clearly a lie to get out of the room and to give them space. She didn't want to get in between a lovers' fight.
Jillyanna released her hold on Travis and sat on the chair behind his working desk. "Natsu Azumi is my...I don't know if I should say friend or acquaintance. Well, we basically know each other since my first year in college." Jillyanna opened up while Travis arranged their dishes for dinner.
"Go on." Travis urged her to continue because he didn't want to be blinded by jealousy and judge her with his own view. He wanted to know who that freaking man was.
Jillyanna picked up a pen from his drawer and started making a doodle while talking to him. "He was one of the men who pursued me and the only one who persistently continued up until now. He stopped looking for me when he started to manage his own company. Perhaps, he forgot me due to his busy schedule which was really a blessing. Now, I don't know why he came. I highly doubt it if there's really a friend who's confine here."

"Alright. I'm glad to know that." Travis finished setting up their dinner as he stated his response. "However, you mentioned that his name is Natsu Azumi?"
"Yeah. If I remember quickly. Why?"
"Is he from an aristocratic family?"
"From what I've heard when I was in college, he was next in line to take over the throne in Japanese Empire. He refused it and claimed that he would find his cousin who was the rightful owner of the crown. I don't know if any of those stories were true."
Travis didn't say anything and was lost in thought.
"Do you have any other questions? It would be better for us to clear this matter before you get jealous of that man."
He finally smiled and raised his head to look at her. "I won't get jealous of him. I am the person you chose so he should get jealous of me." He walked towards her and pulled her up from her seat and take over the chair.
Jillyanna pouted and had her hands crossed over her chest. "I want to seat here." she complained but Travis pulled her to sit on his lap. "If your legs go numb, it isn't my fault."
"I won't ever fault you in anything. Let's go and eat." Travis kicked his heel on the floor and let the chair slide towards the table. This time, he fed Jillyanna happily while stealing kisses from time to time.
"Stop kissing my nape. It's ticklish." Jillyanna mumbled while she covered the back of his neck with her hand. "Come on and eat." She picked a piece of shrimp tempura, dipped it on a sauce and fed it to him. Jillyanna kissed his cheek and giggled while reaching over for a face tissue.
"Are you wiping your kiss?" Travis questioned in disbelief.
Jillyanna nodded but Travis moved his head away from her. "Come on." She reached over her hand and put it around his neck. He wiped his face even though Travis was glaring at her. "I kissed you but my lips were greasy so I left some oil stain on your handsome face." Jillyanna explained. She leaned over again and kissed his lips instead. "I'm making it up to you. Even if your lips get oily, it wouldn't matter, right?"
Seeing her cheeky smile and naughty behavior, Travis pinched her butt cheek that he was holding, making Jillyanna widened her eyes in surprise.
"Oh my gosh! Did you just grope me?"
"That's because you are being naughty."
"Naughty? I was just being nice." Jillyanna retorted but she leaned her face on his shoulder to avoid his gaze, hiding her flushed face at the same time.
Travis knew it was her weakness so he stopped when he finally got to see her reaction. He only wanted to tease her a bit to get rid of their gloomy atmosphere.
