Natsu went back to the hotel that he booked and called his secretary immediately. "Find out what's going on with Jillyanna and the man that she married. I need it before seven in the morning tomorrow."

The secretary just bowed deeply and left after getting the clear instruction. He needed to do an extensive research of a woman that his employer took a liking for several years now.

On the other hand, Jillyanna wasn't really afraid of anyone. If Natsu makes a move against Travis or anyone that she cares about, she will put her life on the line and destroy him - even if they knew each other.

Jackie went back after an hour and found Jillyanna sitting on her bed while Travis put away the empty dishes back inside the bag that Jackie brought earlier.

"How's your study?" Jillyanna asked when Jackie came inside.

"I'm doing fine. The training was easier compared to the regimen that you gave us before."

Jillyanna clasped her hands together and placed it on her lap. "How about the Regional City Jail, any news?"

Jackie sat on the chair beside the hospital bed before she answered. "Vincent told me that the Summers were having a hard time. Every single day, when the clock strikes at ten in the morning, they will collapse from so much pain all over their body. Doctors couldn't find anything and they believed that it could be something they got when they did a human experiment. Perhaps it was their karma. Vincent didn't say anything about me so the Summers didn't have any idea that they were poisoned at all."

"How's my uncle Simon?"

"Vincent isolated him from his other family since they were all blaming him. He didn't want anything to happen to him so he assigned someone to watch over him."

Jillyanna smiled happily and gave Jackie an approving thumbs up. "You chose the right guy."

"Who...who the hell chose the right guy?" she mumbled with a flustered face that made Jillyanna laugh.

"Alright. I won't tease you anymore. I'm glad that you are doing great in school. It's good to know that uncle Simon is okay, too."

Jackie stood up and reached for the bag that Travis zipped up. "I'm glad to see that both of you are fine, too. Anyway, I'm going back now. Tomorrow, it will be your mother and father who will bring your lunch. They can't come during dinner because of Cielo."

"It's fine. Thank you." Jillyanna waved her hand as she watched her younger sister walk out of the room.

When they were left alone, Travis picked her up and carried her to the make-shift bed that he used to sleep.

"What's the matter?" Jillyanna inquired since he didn't know what he was planning to do.

"Hmm..I was just thinking that it is still early. Do you want to watch a movie with me?"

"Sure! What movie shall we watch?" Jillyanna mumbled excitedly since it had been a long time since she watched a movie with him.

"I've got several movies in my laptop. You can choose whatever you like."

"Yay! Go and get your laptop." Jillyanna even pushed him so that they won't waste their time. Travis could only chuckle upon seeing her reaction before walking back to his desk and picked up his laptop.

He picked several pillows and placed it on Jillyanna's back before putting a blanket over her legs to keep her warm. He placed the laptop on his lap and gave Jillyanna one of the earpiece so that she can hear the sound clearly.

"Do you mind if we watch an action movie or perhaps a sci-fi?" Jillyanna asked these two genre that she wanted to watch this time.

"Just choose whatever you like."

"Okay." Jillyanna opened the movie folder and found many lists of movies. She scrolled over to see anything nice but she couldn't find anything interesting. "I don't see anything interesting." she murmured while looking at the thumbnails.

"You watched the Demon Slayer series, right? How about we watched the new released movie?" Travis informed her while taking over the laptop and checked the file of his anime lists.

"You are the best." Jillyanna grinned happily and leaned over to kiss his chin. "When did you get this file?"

"I bought it yesterday." Travis answered as he pressed the play button.

Jillyanna leaned her head on his shoulder and watched the movie silently. Travis had his other hand wrapped over her shoulder to keep her in place.

"I really admire the writer of this anime. Well, I admire every writer and comic artist in the world. They are all amazing." Jillyanna commented while watching the superb graphics on the screen. She wasn't really a fan of anime but she liked how the artist draw their characters.

"You told Brown and Valkyrie that you'd like to write something about them. Will you pursue the writing career?"

"Nope. If ever I get the chance to live longer, I'd like to spend my time with you and our son instead."

"I understand. However, if you find something that you'd like to do, I'll show my support and I will never stop you."

They were talking about random things but the atmosphere this time was harmonious and it could be seen that they were happily chatting, cuddling and feeling each other's warmth.

Not long after, Jillyanna felt sleepy and her eyelids were getting droopy. She tried opening her eyes to continue watching the movie which was halfway already but she couldn't take it anymore.

She snuggled closer to him and burrowed her face on his chest to find a comfortable position to sleep.

Travis didn't mind her sleeping either. This time, instead of sleeping separately, he extended the sofa bed to make it a bigger space and helped her lie down to sleep comfortably.

He got up from the make-shift bed and walked to the door to lock it. He picked the wet wipes from the small bed-side drawer and cleaned Jillyanna's face and body before changing her clothes to her sleeping wear.

Even if they were staying in the hospital, the doctor allowed Jillyanna to wear the normal clothes sometimes instead of a hospital gown all the time.

It was requested by Travis to make sure that his wife will be comfortable while staying in the hospital for the next few months.
