Two days later, as scheduled, Riley prepared to go to J Entertainment to proceed with the press conference for her new movie.

Nobody knew that she would be the female-lead because what everyone knew was that she auditioned for the second-female lead and failed.

This time, she dressed up elegantly. She wore the maroon gown that Jillyanna bought for her when she joined the entertainment industry. She never wear it because she couldn't find any suitable occasion. Now, she finally got one.

The gown had a slit from her upper thigh down to its hem and it was backless, too. When she wore it, her white skin was totally exposed and her long legs could be seen.

She looked around her things and found a crystal glass sandal that Jackie gave her last Christmas. She wore it and found that it actually matched the dress and it made her look even more gorgeous.

She looked at her own reflection on the mirror and smile. A sudden knock cut her off from admiring herself and she went to open the door, only to find Shein standing there with a box on his hand.

He was stunned to see her looking so elegant in front of him and his blush crept up from his face to his ears.

"Do I look okay?" Riley asked when she found Shein looking away from her.

Shein just nodded his head and handed the box. "It's for you. I wanted to give you this a long time ago but I only get the chance today. Congratulations for your first movie."

Riley took the box without the slightest hesitation and opened it. What laid inside was a necklace with a diamond crescent moon pendant, holding on to a ruby star in the middle of it. "It's beautiful. Can you put it on for me?"

Shein went inside her room to follow her as she stand in front of the mirror. Even though Riley was standing with high heels, he was still one head taller than her. He took the necklace from her and placed it around her neck.

When he was done, he bent over a little, one hand holding her from the back, pressed on her flat stomach and he placed a kiss on her bare back.

Riley trembled when she felt his lips on her back and she felt her face increased in temperature. She saw her blushing expression on the mirror and she bit her lower lip to stop herself from making any sound.

Shein pressed another kiss on her lower back and smiled. "It's easy to leave a mark on your skin."

"What?! You left me hickeys?!" Riley exclaimed and spun around to see him grinning happily. "You idiot! The media will make a fuss if they see it."

Shein pulled her close and hugged her waist. "I wouldn't dare do that. I know how important the event is."

"Really?" Riley asked still doubting him. She knew that Shein likes to leave his marks so it was hard to believe that he didn't do it this time.

"Maybe a little?"

"So you really did?!"

"Uuhhmm..on your lower back."

Riley closed her eyes and bit his forearm to take revenge. Shein didn't make a sound even when it hurts.

"I don't have time now. What will I do?" Riley was in panic when Wynwyn called her that they arrived at Jillyanna's house already. "I'll settle our score later." Riley walked past him and went to the living room where Wynwyn was waiting for her.

"Wyn, can you do something with the hickey on my back?" Riley honestly informed her which worried her manager.

Wynwyn turned her around to see her back but there was nothing. "I don't see anything. Where did your boyfriend place it?"

"On my lower back."

Wynwyn took another look and found nothing. "Your boyfriend must be teasing you earlier. There's really nothing on your back. Anyway, let's go now. We only have an hour before the conference starts."

Riley held back her tears from guilt and walked out of the house. She bit Shein few minutes ago due to her rising anger and she knew it was painful. Now, she found out that he was just teasing her. He actually told her the truth that he didn't leave anything but she doubted him.

Wynwyn didn't know what happened but she didn't want to pry her on her private life so she just drove the car silently while throwing glances from time to rime.

In the hospital, Jillyanna was tuning in to J Entertainment's live stream to watch the conference. Travis allowed her to use his laptop during this time so Jillyanna was excitedly waiting for Riley to appear.

Someone knocked on the door so Travis walked over to see who it was. However, the person standing in front of him made him raised his eyebrow.

"Just as I thought. You'd be with her all the time." Natsu mentioned and went inside even though Travis didn't let him in.

"Where else should I go if not with my wife?" Travis retorted before walking to Jillyanna's side once again.

Jillyanna raised her head to see who it was and found Natsu standing in the middle of the room looking at her.

"If you think I'd entertain you, I'm sorry but I won't. I'm waiting for someone's press conference so if you have something to say, you have to wait until the conference is done which would be at noon."

Natsu shifted his deep gaze to Travis instead. "Can I talk to your husband then?"

"Nope. I need my husband to stay beside me all the time. He doesn't have time to entertain you either."

Natsu was really dumbstruck with her straightforwardness. When they were still in college, she was already blunt and brave but he didn't know she's grow with extreme possessiveness over someone.

'Why can't it be me? I have loved you for years. Why didn't you choose me?' Natsu had these thoughts but he remained poker face in front of them.

"I didn't know you are a wife slave. Aren't you worried with your business affairs?" Natsu directed his question to Travis but the man didn't react to his provocation at all.

"My business will thrive whether I stay with my wife or not. I'd rather choose the first choice to avoid anyone from stealing her."

Natsu's smile froze on his lips but he didn't show any signs of leaving.
