Lyla answered his call immediately. She didn't say anything as she listened carefully to his words.

Hans told her everything he knew and went back to his post outside Jillyanna's hospital room.

Not long after he arrived, Top also came with coffee in his hand. It was as if he went to get a coffee for himself but in actual fact, he just bought it after eavesdropping.

Travis and Jillyanna finished eating their breakfast and was currently waiting for Dr. Alison to come and check her.

"Should I call her for you?" Alex suggested but Travis refused it as soon as possible.

"There is no need to do that dad. She will come since it is part of her routine check." he told him with a faint smile.

And he was right! It wasn't even five minutes after he said those words when Dr. Alison came in.

"How's my beautiful patient today?" Dr. Alison asked Jillyanna as she walked inside the room towards her.

"I am fine." she answered shortly.

After their perfunctory greetings, Dr. Alison started checking her ECG status and other organs that might be affected due to her lack of oxygen.

Her heart wasn't working properly which was why she lacks oxygen in her body. Her fingertips were purplish white and when she moved too much, exhausting her heart, her lips would turn pale as well.

Travis had been very careful when it comes to her health which was why, he wanted her to get checked before going out.

Dr. Alison didn't find anything risky for now, so she allowed her to go out. Jillyanna happily stood up and supported her waits and stomach with her hands.

Travis came to her and supported her immediately. "Let's wait for Hawk and Brown for awhile. We are not leaving without them."

"Hn. Got it Captain!" she winked at him making everyone laugh at her adorable reaction.

Sky and Alex put away the empty dishes and went out of the room with Jillyanna's doctor. Dr. Alison talked to her parents about her condition and the possibilities of survival in the future while the two of them stayed in the room, waiting for their friends.

Half an hour past ten in the morning, Hawk and Brown arrived to pick them up. Savannah also came but she only came along to guard the hospital room.

They wouldn't let their guard down specially that some of the works of Travis were stored in his laptop which was lying on his work desk. He was really being complacent.

The truth was, Travis didn't worry about his works because Shein was guarding its security.

The four of them left Savannah in the hospital to start checking the pet shops in the city. Top secretly sent them a message containing a warning to alert his boss that Hans already leaked their whereabout.

Travis was thankful that he got someone loyal to him when the others were not.

"Shall we check out the pet shop near the mall?" Brown suggested. "They've got different varieties of birds and fishes."

Jillyanna turned to Travis to know his decision. She was letting him take the lead for them. "I'll go wherever you go."

Brown rolled his eyes when he heard what she said. No matter the time and place, they would always find ways to flaunt their love and sweetness.

He was a little envious with them because they can be open with their relationship anytime and anywhere.

His relationship with Valkyrie can't be shown to the public making him feel a little guilty towards his partner.

He wanted to go on a date like normal couples do. He wanted to show their love to everyone like everyone does.

He was really grateful that Valkyrie was very understanding of their relationship and didn't pressure him. Nevertheless, he always wanted have the two of them met in between. He didn't like it when Valkyrie had to make little sacrifices for him all the time.

Brown was still lost in his thoughts when they arrived at the first pet shop. It was called Pets City and they offer so many kinds of pet.

"We're here." Hawk told them as he parked the car in front of the shop.

Travis came out first and reached out his hand to hold his wife. He wrapped his other hand around her waist to support her.

"Welcome to our store." the shop's attendant greeted them.

Jillyanna looked around the place and found quite a number of dogs and cats. She admired them for few minutes and left to check the other animals.

There different kinds of reptiles, spiders, different kinds of cats and dogs, as well as several types of birds and fishes.

It was really an amazing shop and she had a great time looking at the pets. Sadly, she didn't find a bird that suits to her taste. Contrary to what she was looking forward to, she found cute little fishes instead.

"If we can't find the birds that I like, let's just take fishes. That's fine, right?" Jillyanna asked Travis who was following closely beside her.

Brown was inquiring about koi fishes and how to make a fish pond for them.

"If you want to make a fish pond, I know an architect who specializes in this field." the shop's attendant gave Brown a calling card of the architect. "Contact him if you want to get some advice from the expert."

"Thank you." Brown kept the calling card and waited for them to finish looking around.

His main task was to observe and to monitor Jillyanna in order to avoid any risk concerning her health.

So far, there wasn't anything wrong or anything alarming with her but that didn't mean she was out of danger.

Under his observation, Brown noticed someone observing the couple as well. Sometimes he would speak to someone over the phone while keeping an eye to Jillyanna.

"Sigh. People just don't learn." Brown murmured as he signaled Hawk to keep track of the man's movement as well.

In other words, the enemy was observing the couple while Hawk and Brown were observing the enemy.
