Chasing After My Wife Chapter 449

Jade took a shower in her own room, washed her hair properly as reminded by her mother. She brushed her teeth right after the shower and wrapped her self with the purple bathrobe that Jackie bought for her,
'Knock! Knock! Knock!'
Jillyanna opened the door and found her daughter standing outside with her hair wrapped in a towel. "Come inside. I'll help you with your dress."
Jade went side and sat on the chair in front of the vanity mirror while her mother took the hair dryer. "Mommy, I can dry my hair for me. You don't have to move around."
"Thank you sweetheart but, mommy is fine doing this little thing for you." Jillyanna unwrapped the child's towel to start drying her hair. "We will just make sure that no water would drip from your hair. You don't want to ruin your dress, right?"
Jade nodded her head and shrugged her shoulders. She can't really do anything when it was her mother. She sat still and watched the beautiful woman dry her hair from the mirror's reflection.
"I love you, mommy." Jade whispered, thinking that Jillyanna won't hear her but she was wrong. Jillyanna heard it loud and clear.
"I love you, too sweetheart. Mommy and Daddy loves you. Everyone loves you so much." Jillyanna stated with equal fondness. She really likes the girl. If not because of her condition, she wanted to have another baby with Travis. However, it wasn't even a guarantee if she would survive after giving birth to her first baby.
She didn't really completely dry Jade's hair. It was still a little damp but, it was enough not to ruin the dress. "Alright. Let's change you to your beautiful dress."
Jillyanna asked Riley before to make sure that there will be a dress for Jade on her wedding day and Riley did as per instruction. They didn't know that Travis contacted the designer to make sure that Jade's dress will match up with Jillyanna's wedding gown. It was clearly an indication that he cares for the little girl and an obvious announcement of the mother-daughter pair.

Jade changed into her cute little dress while Jillyanna put on her wedding gown, too. She felt a little nervous mixed with extreme excitement and happiness. 'Okay, let's calm down. It's not your first time getting married. You also wore a wedding gown after your marriage registration.' Jillyanna told herself mentally while she calmed her hair. She can't afford to have a relapse on the most important day of her life.
"Are you ready to go our, Mommy?"
"Hn. Let's go."
They were both wearing a glass silver sandals to match themselves and they wore a matching dress. When the Queen and the Princess came out, everyone's eyes were glued into them.
"So beautiful." Jackie murmured in mesmerized countenance. She was really amazed and surprised to see how beautiful Jillyanna and Jade was.
Jillyanna was always beautiful but she never thought that her sister would become even more beautiful. "Pregnancy can really enhance someone's beauty."
"Really?! I want to get pregnant, too." Riley exclaimed which earned a scolding look from everyone. She scratched the tip of her nose and grinned at them. "I was just joking."
"What a lovely mother and daughter pair!" one of the hair stylist complimented with his clasped hands.
Sky walked towards her daughter and helped her descend from the stairs to make sure that she won't trip. Jade was walking gracefully towards the make-up artist. "Hello! I'm Jade. I want to have the same make-up and hair style as my mother."
"Okay sweetheart. Let's ask your mom what style she wants." the make-up artist and hair stylist waited for Jillyanna to come over.
"Can I choose while I eat my breakfast?" Jillyanna asked them.
"Sure Mrs. Madrigal." they gave her the hair style brochure so that she can check them while she ate her breakfast with Jade. They didn't take long though. Since they had a light meal, it only took them quarter an hour to finish their food. Jillyanna found the style that she wanted and that can match with Jade as well.

Jade was sitting quietly while watching her reflection on the mirror in front of her. They were drying her hair completely before styling it.
Jillyanna's hair was braided from the side of her head 'til the tips. Then, the hair stylist used the braid to form a bun on top of her head. They put several hair clips to keep her hair in place. They pulled some strands to the side of her ear to gave a sense of elegance.
They did they same thing to Jade. The only difference was that, Jillyanna would wear a tiara on to hold down her veil but Jade wore a silver hairpin with a blue butterfly and cherry blossoms on its end. She looked like a little princess from Old Chinese Dynasty while her mom had a look of a European Queen.
"I wish I have a daughter like you." the hair stylist commented to Jade. "You are so pretty."
"Thank you. I wish you will have a beautiful daughter, too." Jade responded with a smile.
They knew it was impossible for a gay to produce a beautiful baby like her but they still smiled for her well-wishes. Jade watched the man's eyes and she knew in that moment that he was like his pretty uncle. They were the same.
"If you can't give birth, you can find beautiful children in an orphanage. You can adopt one by then." Jade stated calmly. Everyone looked at her but they couldn't understand her way of thinking at all.
"Thank you for the suggestion." the man said before leaving her to the make-up artist to finish.
"Mrs. Madrigal, your daughter is very perceptive and smart." the hair stylist whispered which made Jillyanna chuckle.
"Hn. She is."
They continued to work before they would ran out of time. They still have more than two hours before the wedding would start.
In the hacienda, all the boys were done and prepared. After all, they didn't need to do anything extra like make up and hair styles. Hair wax and hair gel would be enough for them to keep their hair in place.

Understanding a cultivation world
A modern man armed with having read a few novels about cultivation is suddenly transmigrated to a cultivation world. He fights to both survive and thrive in this new archaic world full of arrogant young masters, demonic sects, and incredibly hostile wildlife. Note: In this story, I wanted to focus a lot more on what most novels skim past in regards to cultivation, namely the whole, spiritual growth aspect that seems to be entirely absent from the prosses of obtaining enlightenment the majority of the time, but the method of gaining cultivation. how it works, and what kind of world would develop around it are all things I wish to explore in this novel.
