The fun continued inside the hall while the pursuit to find Ryden continued as well. Jillyanna and Travis were able to dance for a few minutes before they gave the floor to the guests. Some single businessmen took an artist as their partner. Some danced with their wives and some danced with their friends. Most of the guests mingled with Thomas and Atty. Lewis after being introduced by common friends.

"You are so lucky to have a son like Travis, even luckier to have a daughter-in-law like Jillyanna Madrid." One of the guests commented towards Thomas.

"My son is the lucky one, not me. I am just here to guide him before following his mother." Thomas answered humbly. There's no need to boast such blessing.

"Don't say that. You are still healthy like you were decades ago. Don't just something of an ill omen."

"Right. Don't you want to see your grandchild? When is Jillyanna due to give birth?"

"I am waiting for that baby too. It is good to have a pair of granddaughter and grandson. Jillyanna will give birth in mid-January. Earlier or later than that."

"Oh! That's less than two months. I wish her to deliver her child normally and healthy."

"Thanks for your well-wishes." Thomas made a toast to them. Even if he was no longer involving himself in the business world, he needed to pay respect to these men in order to gain connections for Travis. They might not be the richest man in the world, but they were the richest in city B. Their business and stronghold ran across the globe as well. They got many connections and business cooperation overseas. Travis needed support from these men to keep his seat.

"I can finally enjoy myself." Shein yawned and stretched his legs across the floor. "Are you guys going back to the camp or are you going to stay until the wedding reception is over?" He asked the officers who were starting to keep their things.

"We are going back to the camp. We are needed by our comrades, too. Send our warm regards and best wishes to Mr. and Mrs. Madrigal."

"Sure. I'll do that." He started keeping his things too but he kept his ipad open since he was still monitoring the venue. "Remember to talk to Savannah if you guys need my help."

"Thanks, Shein. We'll do that. See you next time." One after another, the officers left the room. Soon, Shein also came out and went to the reception hall.

Jade had been looking for him and when she saw him, her eyes lit up as if she saw her ultimate savior. "Uncle Shein!" she called his name to get his attention while running towards him. "I've been looking for you. Where have you been all this time?"

Shein crouched low to lever their height. "I had to go on an errand but, I finished it already. How are you doing? Are you having fun?"

Jade rolled her eyes and shrugged her shoulders. "I was really looking forward to this event but I can't enjoy it. There wasn't anything made for children. This is a world for adults."

"Aren't you an adult? I thought you are an adult."

"I think like an adult but I am still a child. That is an undeniable truth."

"Wow! Where did you learn these logic and reasons?" Shein reached his hands and held her up. He carried her back to their table. "Are you really that bored? Would you help me look into this?" He gave her his ipad which shows the entire venue.

"Who am I looking for?"

"The man you saw earlier."

"Which man?" Riley and Jackie asked simultaneously when they heard their conversation.

"The man who looked at mommy with so much anger. I don't think he is still here." Jade mentioned but she still looked at the footage. "I will keep watch of this Uncle. Go and get something to eat."

"Our little princess is very caring. Thank you. I will go and get some food now." Shein left her in the twin's care. Actually, he knew that Ryden left already but he still needed to make sure that nothing goes wrong inside the venue. He couldn't let Jade suspect everyone inside which was why, he used Ryden as the bait to keep her occupied.

Ryden was able to successfully make an escape amidst the chaos between his men and the soldiers. He didn't know why there were soldiers involve but that didn't stop him from leaving and plan another attack. Little did he know, Shein already added him in the wanted list. His face was already posted across all police department websites. He couldn't even leave the country now.

"As long as I live, I won't let you have a peaceful life. You don't deserve to be happy while I am suffering." He gritted his teeth while cursing Jillyanna in his mind. "And where the hell is Lyla?! I could no longer contact her. Her place was even sold. Damn that bitch!"

Since she wasn't making a move against Jillyanna, they thought that she already learned her lesson and stayed low. Only she knew what was her ultimate plan. Something that Jillyanna would carry for the rest of her life.

Back to the reception, after cutting the cake, Jillyanna was extremely exhausted and she started to become pale. She used her pregnancy to escape from the event and went back to the hospital. As she ran away from them, she just randomly threw her bouquet. Savannah was in a hurry to leave the place and accompany them to the hospital, when she just turned around to follow them, the bouquet hit her chest.

Everyone gave her a round of applause. She didn't know what happened, still focus in following them out as she placed the flowers on the table near her. "I'm sorry but I have to go. I am not part of the entourage, too." She tried to explain in case they'd think she was killjoy.
