Mishi and Xian after dropping Samuel came home. Mark and Lau Lan had left for the work while Lan Zhan was on a leave. Biyu seeing Mishi and Xian asked them if everything went well in the school.

"Yes, mom. He is admitted to school without any prior difficulty," Xian asserted as he sat on the couch along with Mishi.

Turning his eyes to Zhao, Xian said, "Did you talk with mom and cleared your differences?" Xian asked Zhao who shook his head in agreement.

"Your cousin is stubborn like you. My head has started aching as he was not understanding at all until Chang talked to him and explained everything to him," Lan Zhan stated who was sitting on the sofa chair. Yin came there with a tray in her hand and handed water glasses to Xian, Mishi who thanked her.

"Chang was here?" Mishi asked as she drank water.

"Yes. He came here as I thought calling him would be more appropriate. Zhao was not understanding what we were trying to meant," Lan Zhan complained to Mishi.

Mishi looked at Zhao as she put the water glass on the table. "You should not act stubborn. If mom is telling you something then you shall listen. Years ago something happened between mom and auntie, which created this rift. We know you are undergoing a very drastic situation but it does not mean that you shall push away the loved ones from you." Mishi put forwarded some of her words gently.

"I agree with you. Forgive me for not listening to you all. I will surely bring back my mom from prison," stated Zhao with a tiny smile on his lips.

"Go with Xian today to meet your mother. Do not be rude to her. She will surely tell you everything. She also will be not feeling good after all these things happened. We shall support her in this tough time," Mishi opined. Zhu Rui noticed the way Mishi was telling Zhao and she found Mishi was really a close friend to him who understands his nature more than her.

Xian cut Zhao's words. "You are a family. You do not need to say thank you to us. By the way, you have resigned from the Bliss so, I have thought something for you. The restaurant where you are working why do you not invest the money there?" Xian queried him.

"I have something similar in my mind but I am earning first so that I can grow that restaurant," Zhao replied as he lowered his eyes.

"Maximus will invest," Xian pronounced.

Zhao lifted his head and waved his both hands in air. "No. No, you shall not do this. I want to do things on my own. It seems like you are doing a favor on me," Zhao asserted.

"I am a businessman. I know you have a good eye in restaurants' stuff. Is doing investment wrong? Many of the office parties we organize in a nearby restaurant to our company but I will give the tender to that restaurant. I am just opening a path for you to make your dream true of being an owner of Restaurant chains," Xian proclaimed.

"Don't overthink," Lan Zhan told Zhao.

"I will talk with the owner before giving any formal statement," Zhao told Xian who nodded. "By the way, I want to ask about Samuel. You adopted him?" Zhao asked Xian.

"Sort of. He actually met us in a street. Her mother wasn't ready to take him in so, we two decided to adopt him and he is now our son," stated Xian, looking at Mishi. Zhao passed a smile.

"You indeed fulfilled your promise. I am happy," Zhao said as he peered into Xian's eyes.

"Umm…what promise?" Mishi asked them.

"Brothers talk, Mishi. I cannot tell you," Xian replied. Mishi gave a nod and then looked at Zhu Rui. "Let me show your bedroom. Where is uncle?" Mishi asked with knitted brows.

"I sent uncle to the room near the guest room," Yin stated. Mishi gave a nod and stood up the couch. "Come, I will show you two your room," Mishi asserted and left the living room along with them.

Mishi showed them the room which was upstairs, beside the study room. "This is your bedroom from today onwards. Do not hesitate in any thing," Mishi told them. Zhao thanked her when Mishi told him not to be thankful to her.

She turned to go when Zhu Rui stopped her and told her that she had something to talk to her. Mishi gave a nod and took Zhu Rui to her room. They both sat on the sofa there.

"Mishi, forgive me for the rude behavior towards you earlier. I am very guilty of those acts," Zhu Rui told Mishi and her head was lowered.

"Those things are in past. Do not be guilty. I have forgiven you that day only. I was in between in your relationship which was obvious to infuriate you. But, trust me, I have never been in love with him. He was always a friend to me and still is!" Mishi proclaimed.

Zhu Rui looked into Mishi's eyes. "Thank you for forgiving me. I found the reason why he despises me. 'I' was the reason of his happiness but I am happy that he had given me a chance," Zhu Rui declared.

"How were you the reason?" Mishi questioned her.

"I told about you to his father and then his father fired you from every single job. When he found out then he started hating me. Well, I was the reason of your miseries as well," Zhu Rui told Mishi the truth.

Mishi felt somewhat bad but the past was past. She could not do anything to it except accepting it. "Don't blame yourself. You just wanted his attention. I can understand that. Zhao isn't the type who can hate anyone, according to me. He is exasperated by all this. Good things take time but it happens eventually and makes you happy," Mishi told Zhu Rui who nodded.

"I am doing my best that Zhao starts seeing me as his woman," Zhu Rui asserted.

"Don't try hard. Let Zhao understand you as well. Relationship never grows from one side. Both have to work upon it that way it strengths and love develops," Mishi advised Zhu Rui. Zhu Rui hugged Mishi tightly. "Thank you. I was not able to share all this with anyone. Now, I am feeling good as well as light hearted," Zhu Rui said as her eyes turned teary.

Mishi caressed her hair. "Just tell me whenever you feel like this. I am here as your sister to hold you and support you," Mishi gave her assurance words to Zhu Rui who felt good listening that.
