CHAPTER 82
"To end this meeting of course."
Immediately the words fell out of his mouth, Mr Freed burst into an uproar of laughter. Never would he have imagined in his life that there would be someone daring enough to try or say those words to his person.
"Hahha hahha… My apologies. It would seem we have some rogue mafia gang who think they have become fearsome. Get rid of them," Freed gave his order without batting an eyelid as he relaxed on his seat to allow the girls access to his body while watching the scene unfold.
"Yes, boss." The first guy's smile broadened and he cracked his fingers. "You heard the boss, let no one escape."
As soon as he got within range of where Jake stood, his smile dropped and he brought out a knife from his sleeve, ready to attack.
His other men followed after him and did the same thing as they were obviously ready for the kill.
"Ahh!" His face squeezed, leaving no room for smiles as he raised the hand with the knife, ready to impale it down at Jake. Surprisingly his opponent did not move and waited for him to land the first blow.
By now most of the people in the bar were still present as they waited to see how the fight would end. Everyone stayed still but they all had one thought in their mind.
'How foolish was Jake not to even take a defensive stance.'
To them, it was obvious he did not know who the skull was. He was the deadliest bodyguard of Mr Freed and ruthless as well.
Just before the knife made contact with Jake's neck, the latter bent down quickly and before The Skull could realize what was happening…
CRACK!
His right hand was already snapped and loud wailing was heard.
"Ahhh!!"
Jake was too fast and most people did not get to see what he did. He had ducked in one swift move, causing The Skull to lean forward and before he could retrieve his hand, Jake had stood back up at his side and held his right hand.
A dark glint flashed in his eyes as he did not take any pity on him and the next second twisted the arm and gave him a heavy blow on his shoulder.

The Skull who had least expected such a thing could happen by underestimating his lanky opponent was more than shocked as the pain enveloped his entire brain.
Everyone was stunned by the turn of events except Jade and her men. They all knew the strength of Jake. He wasn't the well-built guy but even in his slim form, he was one heck of a deadly mercenary.
'You underestimated the wrong guy.' Jade's lips curved upwards into a smuggish smile but unfortunately, the others could not see it as her nose down was covered.
"What are you waiting for, attack and kill this scoundrel," Skull yelled the moment Jake freed him from his hold.
"You still haven't learnt your lesson right?" Jade's feminine voice rang out, eliciting some angry glares her way but she ignored it like it did not matter.
"Why you! I would show you a lesson," another one of the suited men pointed at Jade and spoke.
To him, she was just a girl who was mouthy because of the guys she was with. If only he knew none of the guys could actually match her ferocity.
"Halt!" Everyone turned their heads to look at Mr Freed as they awaited what would happen next. "Mr T, let me take care of some business first. Please relax and have a good show."
"Oh, I intend to."
Just as he had said, Tony leaned back against the chair and let his eyes escort Mr Freed to where his enemies were. He was oblivious to the fact that they had not come for Mr Freed but for him.
"Who gave you the effrontery to interrupt my meeting? Since you feel you can waltz in here and call the shots, I would teach you that you do not mess with Freezing Mafia Gang."
"Hahhaha hhaaa…" It was Jade who laughed. She could not believe the arrogance of these people.
To say that Freed was angry was an understatement. That was why he never had a girl among his gang. They had a way of just making someone angry without even trying.
'Just who asked her to laugh.'
"You got a problem with what I said?" Mr Freed asked as he directed his gaze at Jade.
"No, it is just funny, that's all."

His eyes dimmed and they became red. He was so angry that she was not taking him likely when people actually trembled at the sight of him.
Without saying anything more, he walked up to Jade and stood in front of her while letting his eyes do a proper assessment of her.
"I do not have to wonder why a puny gang like yours have such a lousy looking girl in your midst. If you get down on your knees and tender your apology, maybe then I would consider leaving you alive and not killing you with the rest of them."
All of Jade's men got pissed off by his insulting words. If only he knew just who she was, he would not have been making mouth that way.
"Do you need an invitation first before you do what you should do or do I have to force you and make you grovel on…"
He did not get to finish his statement as the next moment, Jade's fist connected with his nose, landing quite a heavy punch for her physique.
Mr Freed as well Mr Tony were left in shock by the turn of events. Jade did not stop there and her next attack went for his jaw before she dragged him by the collar and pulled his head down then raised her knee just in time and gave him a nice knee boot.
Immediately she released him, he staggered back with one hand clutching hard to his broken bleeding nose.
"AHH! You bitch! Kill them all. No mercy again. Kill them." Mr Freed took several steps back to give his men some space so that they could fight well.
"AHHH!"
Hearing his order everywhere around them became rowdy as all the other people in the bar took to their heels and ran away from the premises.
In no time a very good fight broke out. It did not take long for one to be able to determine who was going to win and who was going to lose as Jade and her men were on a whole new level.
Their fighting style was different, Jade had made sure their fighting routine was changed ever since her family were thoroughly murdered.
This was so that when they met a familiar foe like the Anders, they would not be able to recognize them from their fighting techniques and since a member of Anders mafia gang was present, they had to change their fighting style.
Mr Tony was fascinated by the way they fought. All through the fight he had his eyes on Jade and was impressed by her flexibility, reflexes and skills. Her speed was on another level and he did not need a second telling that giving the opportunity, she would be able to handle all of Mr Freed's men alone.
KPAR! KPAR!
**CLAP**
Jade gave one final kick to the man she was holding before putting her legs down and turning her attention to the culprit of the day.
"Impressive. Very impressive." Mr Tony applauded her and walked closer to where she was. "I am indeed very impressed with your skills. What say you, leave these goons and work for me?"
Jade and the others remained silent. Her eyes blazed with untold anger as she listened to the crap he was uttering. Ever since her parents died, she had hated anyone from the Anders group and under the family mafia name
"With me, I can guarantee you a top position as my right-hand woman." To prove his point, he stepped a bit close and trailed his fingers along the length of her ponytail with his eyes still glued on her.
"You make me sick." Immediately the words fell out of her mouth, Mr Tony tried to retract his hand as he knew his advances and enticement did not work but he was too slow.
Jade was not going to give him the satisfaction just like that, not while her enemy was within reach. She took hold of his fingers and bent them back.
Crack! Crack!
"Ahh!"
Right outside the bar, a jeep pulled at the front of the bar and the car door opened. As soon as Xander stepped out of the car, he saw people running helter-skelter.
Without being told, he knew things had gone AWIRE.
Quickly he closed his car doors and was about running in when he heard the sound of a gunshot.
BANG!

His To Keep (COMPLETED)✔️
"What's your name?" He gently asked as he approached me, the rage and hatred that had once painted his features now gone."A-Avery," I stammered out, my body slightly shaking out of fear."Avery," he repeated, my name sounding beautiful as it slid past his lips. The moon trickled through the treetops and illuminated his goldy body as he continued stroking my cheek beneath the soft moonlight. I found myself closing my eyes and leaning into his strangely addicting touch and despite how badly I wanted to pull away, but body refused to and basked in the warm sparks that only my dangerous and feared mate could cause. ***The day Avery's parents decided to leave her and go rogue was the day her once happy heaven became a scorching hell with her demon of an Alpha relentlessly abusing her along with the pack members, being able to have her do whatever they want without any boundaries or limits.
