CHAPTER 92

"Jade." A low grunt escaped his lips as he watched her playful attitude. She was testing his patience and he was going to show her what came with it.

"The, I love you part or the part about you being a preferential boyfriend?"

"Jade!"

"Hehehe… I know." She stood on tiptoes and wrapped her hands around his shoulders. Looking straight into his eyes, Jade said the words he wanted to hear the most. "Xander Warner, I love you!"

Just like an echo, her words reverberated in his ears. He blinked first, trying to grasp what she said and to make sure it wasn't a trick of the light or he was being delusional.

"Jade."

"I love you, Xander!" She yelled it out this time, to prove to him that her words were real. She had denied it so much in the past.

If only he knew how much she had wanted to tell him this before but the weight of her problems had hindered her from spilling it out.

Now, she just did not care anymore. What mattered most right now was that she was learning to open her heart once again and let in someone new.

"I love you so much."

"I love you most, Quinn. I love you with everything I have got."

The more he looked into her eyes, the more drawn in he felt. He wanted her and now she was finally his. 'Mine, finally mine, Quinn. Finally mine,' Xander chanted in his mind before he leaned his head closer to hers and captured her lips in a frenzy loving kiss.

This time around Jade did not hesitate or waste time in reciprocating his kiss, she parted her lips open for him, allowing his skilful tongue entrance into her mouth as she drowned him into her abyss.

Unknown to them, someone far off was watching them share a kiss and from the unending smile on Jade's face, it was obvious what had happened. Sher had just made her confession to him and allowed her happiness soar high.

"Sigh! I am happy for you baby girl. You just gave me the courage to move on." Macy muttered to herself before moving from the tree she was hiding at and heading back to the bonfire, leaving the two love birds alone.

About a minute later, Xander pulled back and stared into her hazel brown eyes.

Her eyes held a certain keen emotion in them, it was like she was a myriad of emotions right now and every time he looked into it, he felt them change and his inner beast rejoice.

Although it wasn't as sharp and loud as what Jay's inner beast did, he knew only her could make that troublesome other self of his, calm down.

Even though he wasn't so sure of her reaction when she found out the truth, he hoped that their love would survive all things.

He did not understand it at first. He just did not get it why his heart became restless when she was around and when she wasn't.

But after trying to understand her and winning the right to be her friend, he knew from his heart of heart that she was the one for him and it was because his inner beast already knew before he did, that was why he was always mad when she wasn't close by or she was and Xander was doing nothing about it.

Jade giggled again. Although softly this time, it did not fail to ignite a spark in Xander the second her voice reached his ears. That and coupled with her close their bodies were, had made his blood to rush and flow to neither region.

She was going to be his doom but he just did not care. all that mattered was now and that moment with her. Nothing else. "Thank you so much, Quinn. Thank you for loving me back and giving me a chance to fulfil all of my words to you."

"Thank you for finding me worthy of your love Xander."

"Anytime, baby. Anytime."

By the time Xander was done whispering unspoken words of love to Jade, he dove right in for the kill again, kissing her fully on the lips. Unlike every other time and even the last kiss, this time she was more than prepared, mentally and physically for what he was going to do and she returned his kiss.

Following his instincts, one hand snaked into her hair, pulling her closer as he deepened the kiss while the other caressed her cheeks lovingly, letting their tongues dance in her mouth, fighting for dominance.

Jade was one heck of a girl as she learnt quickly. In no time, she was kissing him with the same fervour and passion he gave her. She was not willing to lose to him as she let her feelings take over.

They continued for another minute, till Xander finally caught her tongue and bit on it, sulked, taste, rubbed with his as he allowed his naughty hands leave her face and move down, finding their way to her sides before letting them circle around her waist, pulling her body closer to his.

With how close they were, Jade could feel the heat emanating from his body. That had only ended up making her want to melt in him the more.

They still did not stop and our naughty Xander only spiked things further. Her breathing ragged and so did his as their heart thudded heavily against their chest like they were searching for an escape route.

DShe wanted more and so did he but they were already at it for minutes and they both needed to catch their breaths.

Jade finally broke the kiss and rested her forehead against his. With each breath taken in and brought out, came the rising and falling of her chest. It was undeniably intense for both of them but he would have had it no other way.
