"Missing person?" Mr Howard asked.

"More like a dead person."

"Wait, I do not understand what you mean by that, Zale. Kindly elaborate on the matter."

"Definitely. Come close cause what I am about to say, is something even the walls shouldn't hear about."

They spent a little more time discussing the issue and when Zale felt like they were moving somewhere, he smiled at Mr Howard and asked. "Deal or no deal?"

Mirroring the smile of his business partner, Mr Howard replied. "A definite deal, Zale. You can count on me to fulfil the task."

"Thank you."

"Yeah, it is business and if there is anything as such, that they are hiding here, be rest assured, I would fish them out."

"Sure. I would arrange for all the necessities to be brought to you, first thing tomorrow evening," Zale added.

"I appreciate the effort. Please my regards to your father, Mr Zain. I look forward to more partnership with you and if my help is needed in any way to ensure a reinstatement of the Anders back to leadership, do not hesitate to call me."

"I would keep that in mind, thank you."

"You're welcome."

By and by, Jade and Xander became even more close but even within that, she could not figure out his relationship with the Dragon Lord and all her leads came to a dead end.

At first, she had thought that Arctic was busy intercepting all of her leads but when she decided to monitor him herself, she saw that he had nothing to do with it.

It was simply just had to get the right information that would lead them to their desired information.

Meanwhile, as Jade battled her everyday life coupled with the unending closeness between Xander and herself, Macy and Jay's love only strengthened and they literally became inseparable.

To Jade, Macy was extremely lucky to have someone like Jay and he too felt lucky to have found her. Twenty four, seven it has always been the two of them. Their relationship in fact was now putting a fit of certain jealousy amongst the others as they found it too cute.

It was the first time seeing Jay so attached to someone like that, this had further, convinced Xander that they were indeed mated.

On one of the occasions when they all had gone for a weekend vacation, Xander looked at his friend and shook his head.

He was so clingy that Macy was literally begging him to leave her alone after torturing her by tickling her continuously.

"Naughty Jay, until when would you heed her plea and free her? If I were Macy, I would punish him and prevent him from having sex for one week."

"What? Who called you into this," Jay fired back at his friend.

"Do I need someone to call me before I intercede and help poor Macy?"

At the mention of poor Macy, everyone burst into an uproar of laughter except for hum.

"What is so funny?" His eyes darkened on all of them. He did not appreciate being laughed at and they were doing that exact thing.

"Calm down, honey. We are just super attracted to each other like young lovers," Jade explained, scooting closer to Xander and began to rub his hand with hers. "Do not be jealous of them, you have me," Jade offered.

"I cannot eat you, you know. I don't want to see them like this, hmm."

"Wow, I never thought I would see the day that Xander would be this jealous," Sky laughed at his friend. He was a bit shocked but then again, it was what love could do to you.

'Tsk, if not that they are mates," Xander thought then he averted his gaze to his lover.

Jade looked so innocent just sitting by his side. At that moment a part of him began to wonder if she too was his mate.

And just when he was about believing that, he shook his head and just let the thought go. It was likely possible and not possible," Xander thought.

'If it was, then it should have surfaced by now,' he thought again. Regardless of what went through his mind, he just couldn't figure out the logic behind it and decided to stop stressing out his brain with it.

"Hey, babe." He leaned down a bit and planted a kiss on her lips.

Jade could tell he had something on his mind but then again, she did not know exactly whatr it was. "Anything the matter, hon?"

"Nope. I just miss you so much."

"But I am seated close to you. Why still miss me?" Her lips curved upwards into a knowing smile.

Yeah, Xander knew she was teasing. She knew what he meant by missing her but she just wanted to play the innocent.

"Tsk, I miss all of you, baby. I miss your touch, your kisses, the feel of your skin against mine and everything."

"Now someone is getting naughty all again, aren't we?"

"For you, I would be the naughtiest person and the most decent at the same time, hahaha…" Xander replied with a burst of nice laughter.

"Decency does not belong to you, my love."

"Hey, that hurts my feelings."

"I know. He hee you are cute when you are a bit angry."

"Nope, I am dangerous, daring, scary when I am angry. People cower and fear at the sound of my name, babe."

"That is people and not me. You know me better than anyone."

"You are my tigress if you were to be frightened by me… sigh, then I do not know what I would do," Xander responded and sneakily tickled her.

"Ahh… stop it."

"You know you like it."

"Stop." She protested but against the mighty Xander, she was in for some laughter. "Haha hhaa, Macy… Haha… Xander…"

"I won't stop, love."

"Please…"

"Hey you two go get a room," Sky hollered at the two of them but when they stopped and looked at him, his face was filled with smiles. "Maybe today would be your lucky day, Xan," Sky added.

"Huh… what lucky day? What is he talking about?" Jade asked after she had caught her breath but she did not get any answer from them.

When she turned her gaze back to Xander, all she could see was a touch of that smile.

As much as it was cue seeing him like that, she knew that something was suspicious about it, especially since the three of them guys were giving themselves such a smile.

It was only Macy and herself who looked out of it but even at that, the smile Macy gave after watching the guys for some time told Jade that she was on her own.

"Hey, talk to me, what is going on here? Why is everyone looking weird all of a sudden?"

"Nothing, love. Do not concern yourself with these naughty friends of mine."

"Really? I doubt that. Sky, tell me, what did you mean just now?"

"I am sorry Quinn, but it's not for your hearing. I believe my friend here would be able to explain better in the inner room," Sky said with a peal of laughter.

"What the…"

"Relax, Quinn. There is nothing wrong. Ignore them. Just enjoy yourself with Xan and make him feel good to the point where he gets too addicted to you if you know what I mean?" She winked at Jade to convey her message further.

It was at this point that Jade finally understood what they were talking about and her cheeks instantly burned bright red.

"I love it when you blush," Xander whispered into her ears, making her blush the more and her cheeks heat up.

"Stop it please," Jade pleaded with him. It was already embarrassing enough that they were indirectly hinting at her sexual life in her presence and she caught on a bit late.

"I can't. I feel like kissing you right now and doing things to you."

"People are here."

"Like I care. I want you. Let them watch me kiss you. It is their own eyes that would burn out at how passionately I would do that," Xander whispered again, this time blowing air on her ears to tickle her.

"Now you are becoming real cheesy, Xan."

"Can you blame me? I have the most beautiful girl as my girlfriend. I want everyone to know how much I cherish you."

With that said he wasted no time and brought his head closer to her, aiming for her lips but just before his lips landed on hers, Jade moved back and quickly dashed away from where they were.

"Hahaha hahaha… Nice one Quinn, now you only made the master angrier. I suggest you run for your life," Jay advised her as he burst into another round of laughter.

True to what he had said, she turned back to look at Xander and the moment her eyes landed on him, she saw him get up and take the first step forward towards her.

"Ahh…"
