"I have had enough of you two today, kindly leave."

"Wow, the almighty Xander is polite today."

"Sky, do me a favour and take this soul with you before I actually knock him enough to cause him an amnesia."

"Fine. We would give you your alone time with Quinn but know this, this issue seems serious. We have no idea why he is looking for the unkillable killer so all you should do is lay low. W would scout information and then let you know."

"You know I would not la low. I would actually disrupt his plans."

"Xander no. For once do not be a stubborn jerk and actually do as you are told." Jay wasn't smiling anymore. He was being serious about the whole thing. He was not happy one bit and more so, he was angry that Xander wasn't listening.

If it be that he was the target, then there was no guaranteeing. They had all heard about the unkillable killer. He was known to assassinate his target, no matter how skilled that person was. There was no target he had ever failed to kill till date and if he was sent for Xander, no one knew what to expect.

Inas much as Xander wasn't a pushover or something and he was equally skilled, that was a risk not worth taking. So they needed to intercept Zale plan's whatsoever the case or cost.

"And what if is search isn't for me?" Xander tried to reason with them.

"Then we would accept faith that way."

"Check this out. Everyone knew the one person the unkillable killer worked for."

"Yes, Mr Frost of Moon Crest City," Sky noted.

"Exactly and now that he is no more, what do you think he is searching for him for? It is definitely not to make a deal or what do you think?"

Each of them took time to reason and ponder on the matter carefully for some minutes before airing their views.

"But no one heard of the unkillable killer working for Mr Frost for years now. I think he went out of service for a while. This is the first time I am hearing his name ever since he last showed up many years back."

"Jay has a good point, so we cannot just jump into conclusion. We would figure it out. Let us give it today and tomorrow to see. Watch his every move no matter what and report to me."

"Alright, I think we can work with that," Sky agreed and nodded his response to Xander. "Jay, I think we have intruded enough. Let us be on our way and give Xan his privacy."

'At least one of the two bunchstill has sense."

"Hmm, I just do noit want to retaliate because of your girlfriend. Enjoy the taunting while you can, Xan. Come on Sky."

"What could you have done either way?"

"Why not come and find out? I would be sure to leave you with a wonderful memory you would never forget."

"And they are at it again. Since Xander met Quinn, it feels as though she brought out a hidden part of him. He wasn't this talkative especially when he was with us then but now… oh boy."

Rather than speaking, Xander gave them a taste of how he ran things. Now that Jade wasn't anywhere on the top floor, of which he checked before their major discussion and analysis took place, he had the freedom to use his powers at will.

His eyes changed and before they could even think about what was happening, the temperature in the room became intensely hot while at the same time he locked them in place with his freezing gaze.

"Is that all, you've got?" Jay teased.

The moment the words fell out of his mouth, he soon regretted why he had said that. He felt his dragon choke inside of him and his eyes popped open.

"Xan…" He tried to speak but all he could do was gasp for air as something fight was cutting his breath. His eyes soon turned pale before his friend who was shocked at how quickly things changed.

"Xander, stop it. Xand…"

Sky had protested when he saw Jay was having difficulty in breathing. It was not really a punishment but his dragon was enforcing order with their own dragons.

"Stop you are hurting his drag…" The coldness in Xander's eyes further worsened. If there was one thing they knew, his dragon hated to be teased or even had his authority undermined. He was the strongest and he proved that from time to time.

Who said anything about anyone getting soft because he fell in love.

"XANDER!'

Sky yelled a second time and that was when Xander closed his eyes, letting go of his friend. Both he and Jay stumbled but unlike Jay that fell to his knees, Xander still stood proudly.

Together he and Sky quickly went down with Jay and supported him, bringing him back up on his feet.

"Naughty bastard," Jay cursed with a pained laughter. "Were you planning on killing him, huh?" Jay looked deeply into his friend's eyes and knew that he was not really planning on going that far but somehow his emotions felt unstable and it went far.

"Next time, I hope you watch your mouth Jay. It would put you in grave trouble someday. Do you know why Xander lost control like that? It was because of his dragon was mad at you. You know how we are around our mates or the woman we love and our dragon wants as well, now you did not only interrupt their lovemaking session, you also made Quinn leave."

"Hey, I was kidding about entering."

"But Quinn got the threat and she left. So you stole two things from him today. Forgive him that when he had the chance he took revenge, he took over from Xander and wanted to reach you a lesson."

Earing Sky's explanation, even Jay became speechless all of a sudden. "I am sorry, Xander," he apologized. He really had no right to say that and thank goodness that Sky was there to stop Xander.

"Nah, it is okay. I went overboard. I only wanted…"

"We understand quiet well, Xander. No need to feel guilty. Besides he had been kept locked in for years now and wants to be free but you do not let him out. It is understandable when you see him going berserk like this."

It was one thing Xander liked about Sky, he was always understanding, not that Jay wasn't, he was just too playful to be serious about somethings when the need arises. They were his best of friends and he would give up anything for them.

"We are good. Did you notice that the heat conjured this time felt like actual flames, hotter than the flames of a volcano. You better drop the temperature before she returns or I wonder how you would explain that part," Jay reminded.

"Thanks for the concern."

"Perhaps you should let him out soon. Maybe that is why you are not fully connecting with Quinn. He is still angry at you and gets all grumpy every now and then."

'My hiding him is for his own sake and not mine. It is better if he is inside than be let out. The world is not as safe as then," Xander explained.

"I know. But consider it, we can stay around you to keep watch, just in case."

"I really appreciate it guys, thanks. By the way, can you fly or I should have them drop you at home with a car/"

"It would take more than that to tame my dragon. The breast inside is a lot fiercer than the human outside," Jay boasted.

"Do not mind him, call for a car to take us home," Sky quickly informed.

"Pff, I intend on racing you and here you are saying this. Hmm, let go of me." Jay stood up straight and smirked at his friends. "If I win, Xander owes me this Sunday to myself. You guys would deal with the Zale problem alone."

'Look at him running when the going is tough," Sky remarked.

"Then it is your duty to not let him win. We would deal with this threat together," Xander said looking at Sky from the corner of his eyes while Jay prepared to race his friend.

"Sure, I definitely will win. Goodbye and my regards to Quinn."

"Win bro and I will send your regards then." Sky smiled and walked up to Jay, taking his stance and ready for the race. "One, two… GO!"

WHOOSH!

Like the speed of light, both of them raced out of his room only stopping for a second to take a leap out the balcony and fly.

When their race started, they weren't in their natural forms but by the time they jumped, both of them had changed forms and flew away.

'May the best racer wins. Now, let me search for that tigress of mine. I still need to pleasure her to infinite realm as promised.' Xander said in his mind.
