Jade continued her explanation as they headed for the gazebo in the garden. "Ohh…" Thoughtfully Xander walked on. Her words did make sense but as easy as it was, so also was it hard.

"If you keep an open mind and always remember that you alone occupy this heart of mine. Let them come if they wish but I won't give them listening ears. I am yours, my love. Is that okay?"

She dropped her bag on one of the seats and made her way back to where he stopped at the center then lifted her right hand to caress his cheeks.

"You are the most dazzling, enchanting man I have ever seen and a caring, loving, lewd, naughty man as well."

"I love those descriptions. But what about you? If I am lewd, so are you, baby."

"I am lewd just for you." Jade winked after her words then she closed the little space still between them, allowing him to press his hard-on on her body as she wined her waist on him as well.

Jade did not get any time to oppose the motion when Xander first attacked her lips with kisses then proceeded to shower her face and neck with kisses as well.

While doing that, his hands had a mind of their own and went to pleasure her by massaging her breasts first before her butt cheeks.

Soon Jade was already the moaning mess he had angled her to be. She bit on her lips, trying to suppress the moans but what he was doing wasn't helping her one bit.

Hearing her speak in such a way almost made him feel like she was not interested anymore. But he of all people knew better. Jade was very much interested but may not be too open to the thought of having sex with him outside or for their foreplay to continue outside.

It would be too embarrassing for her.

Xander really was finding it hard to leave her alone as well and Macy was already at a loss of words and what to do.

"Please," she pleaded. Even though her brain and mouth wanted for him to stop, her heart and body did not want it and allowed him to do some more.

She was already yielding unintentionally. While Xander's face was buried at the crook of her neck, going down a bit to her cleavage and back up again, Jade's hands found their way into his hair and massaged his scalp while pulling his face further on her skin, allowing her lips part in a silent moan.

"Please…" she managed to let out again and this timer when Xander stood back up to stare into those beautiful eyes, he really felt sympathy and respected himself.

"Fine. Since my baby doesn't want me anymore." He rubbed a hand over his face to distract himself from the careless thoughts that were overshadowing his mind.

Jade felt bad by what he said but she chose to ignore it intentionally so as not to be sobered up or dared to actually let it continue.

"Hmm." Her hands went to work on her body as she adjusted her clothes and fixed them up.

"But I do understand that it is also because you feel so shy."

"Not just that but this engagement is paramount. Like this, I know it is official."

"I agree with you just be calm. Official or not, I am yours till death do us part and even then, I know I would carry your love and my devotion to my grave."

That was some strong oath right there. Jade did not know what to say anymore. She had barely known him for months but this same cold CEO just made such a promise to her.

She felt on top of the word with just those words of promise. Unfortunately for her, she did not know if she was going to be available to do that as well.

Notwithstanding, Jade gave her own promise as well.

If all went well and she could still survive after her revenge, she would have preferred to go to a remote island somewhere far away to be with him all the days of her life and have his children.

With that wish of eternal happiness, Jade closed her eyes briefly and smiled at him.

"I wish for that too and with that, I give you this promise this day. My heart would forever stay with you and be by your side. I am yours, now and forever till death do us part and I would take this love and devotion for you to my grave howbeit. I want to be the mother of your children."

"And so shall you be. Your womb shall bear my offspring and we shall grow old together. This is not a mere promise, Quinn. I swear it on my life that I would never leave you and love you and only you till the day I die."

"Until the end of time?"

"Until the end of time," Xander chorused his answer to her.

As both of them looked at each other lovingly, Xander blinked at her severally. It was like he was seeing an enchanted version of her.

And with their hearts now locked forever, Xyler roared at the back of his mind. He was glad that Xander had picked her to love from now till death.

He was very much okay with the decision. He had met several girls Xander had been attracted to but never one caught his fancy as much as Jade did and she was the only one he loved as well.

Mate hood or not, he did not care. So long as Xander found someone he loved dearly and loved him back, he knew the dragon would forever be content and loyal to her and only her.

At that moment, Xander did not know how or why but then he saw an image he wasn't so sure of radiate from Jade when he peered deep into her heart.

No longer was the love of his life having brown hair but lovely silver hair and her eyes were now and sparkling blue.

He blinked trying to be sure of what he saw and when he looked at her again, the image was no longer there.

Due to the confusion, Xander thought that perhaps he saw someone she was thinking about or he saw a remake version of herself that he wished.

'Perhaps my love for silver flowers for her is making imagine things. Stupid Xander, how can your fiancé ever look like that? But then I can make her dye her hair and see. She would be extremely gorgeous.' Xander thought to himself.

"Hey, hon." Xander blinked again, bringing himself back to the present to appreciate the beauty before him and not his remake image.

As soon as it looked like he was back there with her, Xander raised her head and pressed her lips on his. Xander returned it and kissed her back briefly as well.

"We just sealed our promise with this kiss. None of us can go back on our words after this. Am I right?"

"Tsk, says who I want to go back on my word after hearing you say all those to me. I love you hon. And I would never go back on my word."

"As will I."

They shared another kiss again before taking a seat in the gazebo with Xander sitting sideways and resting his body on the chair and one leg up on the chair with his knees raised close to his hand and the right leg on the floor for better balancing.

Jade, on the other hand, sat down between his legs and leaned back, resting her upper body against his chest with her legs down as well as she rested her head on his shoulders so that their head could be close to each other.

"Stay with me like this forever," Xander indirectly begged her.
