"What do you know?" Xander asked and winced.

In as much as Xander did not want to show it, he was in pain nonetheless. He needed to take the bullet out, lest he wouldn't heal and it would continue to ache him.

But that was just a small pain as compared to what his girlfriend was feeling.

"So much, Xander. So much that you would be shocked out of your wits. For instance, it thrills me to know that you haven't noticed anything different about your girlfriend."

Arctic who had been watching finally understood. So Jade had indeed kept her relationship with Xander from him even after he warned her about it. It was now he decided to look at hos eyes. The eyes of the Xander he knew weren't those, so what was he? As if someone whispered it to his mind, Arctic's eyes widened. 'No way!' he said in his mind.

At the mention of this fact, Xander turned back to Jade to check what he was saying then he noticed that he still viewed her with his dragon special eyes. That had only made everything and everyone red.

Not wasting any more time, in fear that Zale had done something to his beloved, Xander closed his eyes and when he reopened them, they found out that it had changed, reverting to his blue normal eyes.

He looked at Jade again and this time he noticed her hair colour was no longer what it was and then her eyes…

Xander was confused. He did not know what was happening, then he returned his gaze back to her hair again, then her eyes till he managed to zero his gaze on her face all together.

It was now that it all made sense. He had seen this face before but where? This was his girlfriend no doubt, that was why he could sense her and all but then, she looked different now with her bright silver hair and her lovely blue eyes.

If not that he was in a not soo good situation, he would have said she looked even more beautiful than the Quinn he knew.

"Let me make this quite easy for you. You had made my family suffer thinking we did wrong but who would have thought that you were the one hiding her all along?"

"What are you talking about?" No longer was Xander in his threatening form, now, he was in a more confused state.

It was at this point that' Sky and Jay walked into the warehouse and saw what was happening.

Instantly some of the gun men directed their weapons at them, keeping them in place not to disturb what was going on.

"Stay back Sky, Jay. They have silver bullets," Xander informed his friends. They were already in their human form including their eyes so no one knew what they were.

"Silver bullets?" both of them chorused.

"Just stand down, I would handle this on my own." They nodded their head and although his attention wasn't on them, they knew he saw them.

"I never thought that you could be so wicked, Xander Warner."

"Watch your mouth," Jay warned, Zale. "You forget you are standing in Star City."

"Right now I call the shots! You watch your mouth or I kill her."

"You wouldn't dare." Jay challenged again.

"You think?"

"Stop this madness now. LET HER GO AND I WOULD FORGET THIS INCIDENT."

"Xander!" Jay and Sky yelled his name. They did not understand what he was driving at. Let him go? Hell no, Zale deserved to pay for what he had done to Jade.

If only they knew he was doing all of this for her sake and his. He still did not want to let her know, at least not yet and for Zale to know of the silver bullets, then he knew who he was.

"Trust me."

"Does it matter?" Zale asked. "I would still get what I want. Now back to what I was saying, it is either you were wicked or you were stupid enough to be tricked by the girlfriend you love so much."

"State your claims clearly or shut up," Xander spat out sharply.

"Oh, I would. It is one of the two and since your memory have been dulled by love, let me help you recall. Sitting majestically in this chair is no other than Jade Nova Frost, heiress to the Frost empire and ruler to the Mafia world."

*GBAHGHAN!*

At his announcement, Jay, Xander and Sky's eyes widened at the same time.

It was now coming into play. Her fighting skills, her senses, her intelligence, her enemy, the killing of her family. He should have known. He was just too captured by her and he decided not to dig into her further.

"So it was either you knew and hid her from me or you didn't and had her trick you. What a perfect hiding place she found, knowing fully well that you had her covered."

"What nonsense are you sprouting?" Arctic asked. "She knew nothing. I disguised her and had her come to Star Cross City so that she can survive."

"Aren't we saying the same thing, huh? Unkillable killer?"

*GLASS SHATTERS*

The reveal was just too much for Xander who had not gotten over the fact that his girlfriend was the heiress to the ruling Mafia family in Moon Crest City. And the unkillable killer was her…

No wonder she disappeared that night when they were to have sex. She overheard their discussion form the room that day.

"You are just twisting things from what I know. Jade fell in love with him and even hid it from me because she knew I would object and that was because she didn't want a separation. So stop concocting lies."

"Hahhaha… who cares about that? Just wait, there is more to come. So Xander, shouldn't you compensate my family for a job well done? Considering you made it impossible to complete the task of total annihilation."
