"Get away," Macy shooed her with her hands and returned to what she was doing. "You know what I mean. So what changed?"

"Simple, I went to kill him."

*GLASS SHATTERS*

Like literally, a glass did shatter. Unfortunately, at that time, Macy picked up a class bowl and when Jade dropped the bomb on her, she did not know when she let it go and it broke.

"You did what!"

"I went to kill him," Jade repeated.

"Have you gone mad or what? How can you just go and kill him?"

"Because that was my plan all along."

"Wait, where is Xander, Jade? What rubbish have you done? Wait how is it that you have killed him and I did not hear? Jay did not say anything, unless…?"

"Unless what?"

"He is not yet dead."

"Hmm, I never said I killed him. I only said I went to kill him." Hearing this, Macy leaned her body against the counter with one hand on her chest and the other holding the counter for support as she tried to steady her uneven breathing.

"Oh Jade. You will not kill me before my time. What am I to do with you, young lady?"

"You were the one insinuating things not me. You jumped into conclusion quickly. It tells just how much you believe in me."

"Well for one, I believe that when you set your mind on one thing, you would definitely get it done. Other than that, I prayed and hoped that you did not go through with it. And that brings us to the question."

"What question, this time?"

"What happened?"

She let out a soft sigh. How was she going to tell her friend that she had gone to her boyfriend… oh well the guy that she once love's house but instead of killing him, she had a romantic session with him?

"It is complicated."

"No babe, try me. It is not as complicated as you think. Spill."

"Fine." She was not ready to have any fight with her friend. She came here for peace and she knew better than anyone that Macy wouldn't allow it rest until she did. "Fine, hmm."

"You have said that a second time, yet you do not speak."

"Fine."

"Jade…"

"Just let me be."

"Hell no. What happened when you went to kill Xander? I know you have changed but forgive me, I am only interested in your utmost wellbeing."

"Nope, my friend is dirty."

"Yeah, yeah, just spill cause obviously, you said so yourself and not me. You did some dirty things, didn't you?"

"What's done is done. Anyways," She adjusted herself where she stood, took in a deep breath and began her tale. "Yes, I went with the sole intention to kill him but something happened, so plans changed."

'What happened?"

"The mate bond kicked in."

"Oh my God! Jade!'

"What? What is wrong? Macy you get ahead of yourself too much. I did not do anything with him. We just…"

"You kissed? You smooched, you fucked…"

"Hold it, right there," Jade quickly interjected before she went on saying what did not happen. "I didn't have sex with him. We never did."

"But you will."

"Sigh. Anyways, the mate bond made it hard and all that and we kissed."

"Awwwnnnn…. Oh my Jade, look at you all grown up and looking pretty and more matured. I am so happy. So you two have made up?"

"Something like that. By morning…"

"Wait, hold up… Morning? Oh my God! Baby you slept over? Let me guess, in his arms right?"

That was it. Her friend just was on another level of urghh…

Feeling frustrated with her ever giddy attitude, Jade face-palmed herself, shaking her head. "No."

"You and I both know that is a bloody lie. You sure did, didn't you?"

"Umm…" Jade was too shy to admit it and as though her mind was in sync with Macy, she started recalling the moments of the previous day.

Soon enough, her cheeks had turned beet red as her tomato face shone with brilliance.

"Omo! Oh my naughty Jade! What naughtiness is thou thinking of right now? Look at you, you are so much of a blushing baby."

She did not like being teased or laughed out but between that and how hot she was feeling coupled with her body reacting and wanting more, Jade found that wanting to be teased was better.

If she thought about this issue more, then she was definitely going to want Xander more and trust me, that was just too frustrating enough for her.

"Stop it, Mace."

"Na-huh that is the punishment you get for hording the details."

"Are you kidding me! I do not pester you about your sex life with Jay so why pester me for mine."

Macy was speechless. Did she just hear her friend say sex life with Xan…

As though guessing what nonsense Macy was thinking, Jade face-palmed herself again and this time, she got angry with her.

"Macy, I did not say I had sex with him. I only stated your sex life and that you should leave mine, as in, my romance life or whatever it is called! Urghh!" She threw her hands in the air in utter surrender when she saw her friend giving her the 'I know right' kind of look.

"You are impossible, Macy!"

"Hahahaaa…" She could hear her resounding laughter escort her to the living room but Jade was done explaining herself to her naughty friend.

Obviously she was not willing neither was she ready to listen to her.

"Oh Jadee…" Wait up, baby. Momma is so sorry, hahhaa…"

"Go away, Mace. I do not want to hear it."

"Come on. You know I was just teasing."

"Tease on you like, I do not want to hear of it."

"I am sorry. Give me a minute, let me quickly clear this place and come to you."

Jade did not answer, rather she sat down with her hands crossed in front of her, pouting at nothing with her thoughts running wild and free to all the moments she enjoyed the previous night.
