'Those reflexes...that countermeasure....in a split second, of all the countless counters, he managed to use the best one and he executed it perfectly...'
'Damn, that punch wa-' Luke didn't even have time to finish his thought, he could feel immense killing intent from the side and immediately ducked, K who was pushed back, jumped right back in and lashed at Luke, taking full advantage of the 2v1 aspect of the fight, as soon as Luke ducked, he pulled back his hand and released,
*𝘉𝘈𝘔*
His palm connected and it hit K exactly in the center of his body, leaving him coughing as he was pushed backwards, it was Luke's turn to take advantage of the ruckus, he turned around and could see Jace pull back his hand to throw a punch.
'It's happening again....everything is so slow....everything except ...me?' Luke thought as he could almost see Jace's muscle's work, slowly Luke moved forwards, he wasn't worried in the slightest for some reason, he had all the time in the world, after all, at least that's how he felt. He moved to Jace's side and struck him using the same technique he used against K. Just then something that even surprised Luke took place, even Nate who was quiet was shaking with his eyes wide open,
*𝘉𝘖𝘖𝘔*
Luke's strike literally sent Jace flying until he crashed into the wall which was thankfully padded, but that wasn't the only unusual occurrence, Luke just disappeared and appeared next to Jace, while everyone there was aware that his speed surpassed the normal human limits, what Luke showed just now was more than that, it even broke past the limits of the wild.
'What the f*ck was that.....what happened?' Luke thought as he looked at Jace who was now leaning against the wall. It was almost a trance-like state, even in-game, Luke would think of ideas and execute them without any hesitation, especially ideas that he wouldn't normally think of, it was as if something controlled him, something in him, but no matter who or what it was, it felt like himself, it felt natural to him.

"Urgh...." Jace let out as he tried to stand up.
Fortunately, he was sturdier than most people his age, otherwise, they would've had more than a few cracked bones, perhaps they might've even been fatally injured, regardless, Jace didn't look too great, his cheeks were all sucked in and he was dripping in sweat, it looked like something completely took out all the energy and will in him,
"Hell...what a monster....didn't even show any mercy," Jace said as he somehow staggered forward, thankfully K showed up and supported him, though Jace was reluctant, he finally decided to give in.
"Look's like there's a clear winner..." K said with a tired smile.
"..."
"..."
"Thank you sensei," Luke said while bowing and bring his fist to his palm, "Thank you, Master Jace,"
"Hah...I'm tired, I need some sleep, my son's going to be surprised when he hears about this," Jace said as he limped towards a seat.
.
.
.
"Well, that was...something," Nate said as they were walking back home, he hadn't said anything during the whole fight or even after the fight, only after they had left the dojo did he speak. If he was being honest, he was slightly afraid, afraid of what he saw. The reason he had wasn't only because of Luke's movements, he saw something, he saw a very weird aura and a sinister aura surrounding Luke.
Immediately, he envisioned a picture, Luke holding his hand up with the same dark aura, except this time, his eyes were glowing blue, one half of his body was covered in the aura, with his right arm completely dark, it was bubbling and every bit of darkness that fell, slowly melted away a part of the ground. On his right hand, the aura took the shape of a claw, a claw that didn't belong to any animal. But what scared Nate was the smile on his friend's face, the smile on Luke's face as he slowly walked towards his prey. A sadistic look on his face, it looked like the Luke he envisioned enjoyed hunting down the weak.

Fortunately, the vision lasted only a second, as soon as he blinked he could see his friend again, standing there in confusion while he waited for either Jace or K to make a move.
"It...definitely was.." Luke said as he sighed.

The Mentor
This one is for my daughter. She talked me into it (again) and it is her favorite genre of books. So, Bet, this one is for you. The true-bloods, the masters, they came first. That was hammered into Heath's head since he could walk with both words and fists by Karen. As a guardian and half-blood bastard of his vampire father, he would never know peace. His duty as a dhampir, his duty was clear, his fate sealed. Heath was to serve Gerald, an aging Vampire Lord, one who was of pure blood, born to the race, until Heath outlived his prime and then he would pass on the knowledge that was passed to him onto a new bastard to carry protecting the bloodline. But was it necessarily his fate? Could a sterile half breed such as himself, someone who did not exist in the human world, live anywhere in the world on the light? After a particularly nasty encounter with his Mentor, Heath is on the run. Set on not becoming the new guardian and knowing that decision has now marked him for death. The hunt is on and somewhere behind him is Joshua, the heir of his Master, and the thing that plagues his nightmare, his Mentor Karen.
