(A/N): I forgot to mention this in the previous chapter but the 100th chapter marked the ending of the first arc, obviously I'm not taking any breaks :/ ( I have a gun to my head. pls send help), anyway think of the chapters so far as a part of the "introduction" arc. I don't want to let yall in on too much(suspense element duh) but some things you can expect are, the new guild of theirs, Hermes's appearance again, more about the dude who kinda threatened Noel, and maybe how vast the world of Genesis actually is.

The Primordials were a weird bunch, at least the ones Night met so far. For someone who was feared by all, including the ruler of the Gods, Nyx was very kind to Night, actually, she was more than just kind, she treated Night like her own. Gaia on the other hand was a sister of Nyx's, she was the ancestor of the majority of the existing Gods and yet she acted like a female-Nate.

However, this was all pushed aside as Night focused only on one thing, what would happen to Hecate's power? calling Nate lucky was stupid, what he was experiencing more or less broke the limit of luck, similar to how Night broke the limit of unluckiness. It isn't every day that someone gets 'cursed' or 'blessed' by some of the strongest beings in the world of Genesis, in fact, this is something that probably doesn't even occur every few years.

"Okay here goes my child," the woman said as she appeared in front of Nate suddenly and gently placed her hand on top of his head.

"Oh wait, you've been quiet all this time and I kinda forget to ask for your opinion, haha" the woman chuckled.

"....."

"....."

"I'm going to be honest, I still don't fully understand who you are but just by My Master calling you 'Great Mother' I can understand the power you hold, however, it feels wrong in my opinion to just abandon My Master, even if she has given her permission, it simply goes against my values to walk away from someone who gave me hope...." Nate said as he looked up at the woman.

"Hoh? and here I was thinking that you would mindlessly accept my power, guess mortals are evolving, and as for who I am, I'm called Gaia, as for my identity, the woman inside your friend," Gaia said while pointing to Night, "she's my sister, hopefully, that is enough for your brain to understand,"

"And as for abandoning Hecate...I do not have a proper solution....actually wait...you think you're going to be my student?" Gaia asked while tilting her head.

"Am I not?"

"Stupidity, of course not, you are going to be my chosen one, you'll carry my bloodline, did that friend of yours even tell you anything? you can learn or be anyone's student as long as it doesn't harm you or something,"

"...alright, thank you for clearing that out,"

"Are you ready? you won't feel any pain don't worry, probably an ant bite? and of course, you won't be able to use all of my powers immediately, I guess all I can say is grow, grow so much and prove to everyone that you're worthy of my bloodline." Gaia said making Night's eyes widen.

"I'm ready," Nate said with a firm look.

'It probably won't hurt. probably hehe,' Gaia chuckled internally

A bright and calming light enveloped Nate, slowly vines emerged from the ground, they started to twirl around his legs, gradually covering his entire body.

'She said it won't hurt, so it shouldn't right? haha yeah, it probably won't. probably.' Nate shuddered, 'it kinda burns but it's not so ba-'

"....."

"..."

Both Gaia and Night watched as they heard muffled screams from inside the vines that enveloped him.

"Must be one big ass ant huh?" Gaia laughed nervously.

After a few minutes, the vines slowly withered away, the birds that were flying above now looked towards the figure emerging from the vines, the mana now turned itself to Nate and not only Gaia. The withered vines turned green as soon as they touched the ground.
