As they reached the office,little Alicia was also keen to be taken out of the car sear.She had already pooped in her diaper and the entire carwas full of smell.As they alighted the car and Onita bent down to take little Alicia out of the car seat,the girl let out a loud wail.Onita moved back in surprise and looked at ALicia who was throwing a tantrum because she wanted to go with Neil..

Neil shook his head and went ahead to pick her upbut was immediately assaulted with the smell of poop..He wondered if Little Alicia liked him or was punishing him...Picking up the little bundle and turning his face away to take a deep breath,Neil carried Alicia into the Lance Inc building.Yesterday everyone had ondered if the little girl was Neil's daughter and had felt maybe that was the reason the assistant had been suspended.But the newspapers today had revealed the truth.And yet as Neil entered the office building,all the female employees felt their heart flutter.The handsome man with the doll like,rosy cheeked baby was a sight to behold.

Once in the office though Neil pinched his nose and made a gagging noise.Laughing now at his antics,Onita cooed at little Alicia and taking her went in the direction of the bathroom that Neil showed her.

While Onita freshened the little baby,Neil ordered a scrumptious breakfast for the three of them and called the day care in the office,indicating the need to accomodate another baby for today and sat down on the sofa.For the next conversation,he needed to set up a cozy atmosphere.

Afew minutes later,Onita and little Alicia came out of the bathroom.Little Alicia was looking fresh and smelling rosy!Running to Neil,she climbed his lap and burrowing her head into his neck sat quietly.Neil smiled at her and placed a small peck on the top of her head."My little cupcake!Did you miss me?"

Little Alicia was feeling shy which was how she usually was and putting a thumb in her mouth nodded her head.

Just then,a knock sounded on the door.Onita went ahead to open it and immediately the fragrance of freshly made steamed buns and congee soup.The server from the canteen laid everything on the table and moved out.Onita,looked at the spread and realized that Neil had ordered food for all of them.Feeling a little awkward,she said,"There was no need for all this..I was so confused just now that we just followed you here.We do not mean to disrupt your day.I'll leave now and make anappointment to see you.."As Onita was saying this her stomach rumbled loudly making Neil look at her in amusement.Onita could feel her cheaks heat up and without saying another word she sat opposite him and prepared a plate for Neil and little Alicia.She then put a steamed bun in her plate and began to eat with her eyes fixed down,thus failing to see the amusement in Neil's eyes..

There was a peaceful silence in the office as Neil fed Little Alicia and himself.As Alicia's tummy filled,her shyness also lessened and she started playing with Neil...As Onita was still eating slowly and Neil and Alicia had finished their breakfast,Neil excused them and holding the little girl's hand told Onita,"Ms Dew,Princess Alicia is going for a stroll.We will be back soon."

The little princess basked in Neil's admiration and together they went down.Along the way,Neil talked and played with Alicia telling her of a kingdom which was full of fairies and rainbows.She heard intently as her eyes got bigger and then infront of a door,he stopped and kneeled down,"Cupcake,this is the rainbow city.You may go there and play for a while.Do you want to go inside?"

Little Alicia nodded her head in affirmative and Neil opened the door to see a fairy waiting for them.Alicia let out little giggles and within a few minutes waved a cheerful goodbye to Neil.Bolwing her a flying kiss,Neil smiled as he saw her go into the daycare.

The daycare had been a part of the Lance Inc building ever since Ryu had divorced his ex.Though later Ryu had found an apparently good nanny for little Ru,the daycare had been established and become a part of the official benefits.This also contributed to the employee productivity as well as turnover rate.

The moment the doors closed,gone was the smiling and adoring Neil.With cold eyes and adetermined expression,Neil went back to his office.Inside the department,many of his head paralegals were waiting for his instructions for his scheduled meetings.Without glancing at them,he said,"Push back all the urgent meetings to the evening and rest you all will handle.."

With that Neil went into the office where again his aura had toned down to make the woman inside comfortable.

She looked up when he entered but the next moment her eyes widened and she asked,"Where is Alicia?"

"Alicia is perfectly fine and safe where she is presently.But,the same cannot be said for the future.Onita,we only have two days to prepare this case.If you do not co operate then I will not be able to help you."

When Onita refused to answer and continued to look down,Neil felt like throwing things out of frustration.Changing his tactics,he said,"Onita,Lawyer Chen is not above allegating you with kidnapping charges.If something like this happens then getting you out of their web will be even more difficult.So before we preoceed I need you to tell me the truth.Number One,Tell me where is Alicia's birth mather.And secondly,what is your aversion to the father having the baby?"
