A few days after the storm of news had settled,Alicia received a call from Mi Rae. Alicia had been expecting the call and answered with a small smile."Attorney Zheng,how may I help you? "

A girly voice answered,"I'd like to return the clothes I previously borrowed.Madam Long, would you be free this afternoon?"

Alicia cocked her head to the side as she watched her hubby making pancakes and answered,Attorney Zheng there is no need for you to trouble yourself over such a trivial matter.I can ask my chauffeur to pick it up."

Ryu turned to look at his wife and raised his eyebrows in question.Though Alicia was speaking in a perfectly normal tone, her expression was the opposite.He could almost see her hands rubbing in anticipation at the thought of meeting Miss Zheng.

Of course he understood from where she was coming.She needed to trap Mi Rae so that it would be easier to extract information.Neil had been ignoring her since the last few days and she was dying for some latest information.And since one source was unavailable,the other had walked into the den herself.Poor Zheng will not be spared until she had revealed her entire history.Having prepared the pancakes, Ryu put them on a plate and cutting a bite sized piece fed his wife lovingly.

She smiled and winked at him and continued to listen to Mi Rae who was insisting on treating her to a meal to thank her.Finally,Alicia relented and they decided to meet at a hotel for lunch.Cutting off the phone,Alicia placed her chin on her palm and the two love birds continued to feed each other.

At the hotel:

Alicia reached the hotel fifteen minutes early and had already snagged a table in the corner,the better to not be interrupted.Mi Rae reached a few minutes after her and both were surprised to see the other early.Alicia recovered and with a small hug,welcomed Mi Rae to sit in the opposite chair.Even though the hotel was an elegant one and frequented by the upper class,people still tried to covertly observe the two beautifl women in the corner.

The waiter arrived as soon as Mi Rae had settled and both the girls ordered simple fried rice and shrimps and chicken for lunch.Alicia,who was an expert at making people comfortable did nothing to alleviate the tension that permeated the atmosphere.Ater all it was better to keep the enemies on their toes and confuses.This would make it easier to extract information later.

Mi Rae was feeling a little nervous.She knew that Alicia was a laid back person usually and she had even felt comfortable when they had previously shared a table.But this time,she had her own motive in approaching Alicia and she did not know how the other person would react..Trying to calm her heart,she started a conversation,"Madam Long,Thank you for accepting the invitation.I really wanted to treat you to a meal for the generosity you showed."

Mi Rae was thinking of something more to add when Alicia interrupted,"Please call me Alicia!Madam Long makes me feel like a grandmother!Please don't stand on ceremony.I told you to call me Alicia previously as well."

Mi Rae felt a bit embarassed and would have apologized but Alicia's expression was so fierce that she dare not mutter a word.No wonder this woman was the biggest CEO's wife.She could people do her wish just by a glance.Letting the matter go,Mi Rae gathered her courage and asked the question for the answer of which she had arranged a meeting."When did Neil's fiance die?And Why?And how?"

Alicia who was about to sip her water felt her eyes widen.This was unexpected.She had expecter to have to extrack information but Mi Rae was here to willingly confess everything..No,she was not confessing,she was looking for information.Putting down the glass of water carefully, Alicia looked at Mi Rae and asked instead of answering,"Woah Woah .. That's a lot of questions in a single breath.I am willing to answer all those..but first you have to answer me.Why?Whydo you want to know Mi Rae?"

Mi Rae was at a loss as to how to explain.She had not expected such directing questioning.but before she could formulate a reply,Alicia continued in a condescending tone,"Are you attracted to Neil and do you think that by knowing these things you will be able to have him?Mi Rae,are you special enough to win over his heart from his fiance?If you think just because he is always smiling and flirting,he is going to fall for you,then you are wrong.It is easy being a third party in a relationship but a third party when your competition is dead..it won't be easy.."

The silence stretched infinitely after this.In actuality,Mi Rae was angry at this attack and wanted to lash out but at the last moment,reined in her temper.This woman was Neil's best friend and family.And even though her tone was arrogant and aggressive,she could see that Alicia was not trying to discourage her and was not refusing to help her.So Mi Rae decided to be honest and said,"I don't want to only have him.I want to give him my heart and love forever."
