After throwing out the trash,figuratively,of course,Neil was in a good mood.The date of the hearing had been set for Mi Rae's case and he needed to tell her of today's meeting.Sighing,he took out his phone and messaged her the details directly.

His concentration shot, Neil leaned back in his chair and wondered if he should work on his plan right away. But looking at the time felt that it was too early to leave work so he forced himself to finish his pending work.

Soon the few hours had passed by and the moment the clock struck the finishing hour, he rushed out of his office like a little work bee who had been caught in a prison. He wondered how people in new relationships manage to work and not slack.

Soon, as per his plan, he drove in the opposite direction of Mi Rae's office and bought the stuff he had thought of.Then it was time for him pick to Mi Rae.

Standing near her office building,Neil texted Mi Rae that he was here and waited for her to come down.He had planned a small date for them.A simple one.The kind tht they should've had at the beginning.

Soon after Mi Rae was back and spotting Neil standing by his car,she ran to him and threw her arms around his neck ,kissing him passionately.Catching her by instinct,Neil held her in his arms and kissed her back.After a few heated moments,where some passers by made catcalls and advised them to get a room,the two of them came up for air.Smiling Neil ran his fingers down her face and asked,"What was this about?"

Mi Rae giggled at that and said,"I loved the reply that you gave Attorney Lee.This was your reward!"

Neil pretended to pout at that and said,"So you were thinkng of that scum Director when you were kissing me!Mi Rae I am not going to talk to you anymore!"

Mi Rae stopped mid step when she heard Neil's totally inaccurate deduction and turned back to look at him only to realize that he was teasing her.Smiling Neil opened the car's door for Mi Rae and shut the door once she was inside before moving towards the driving seat.Mi Rae looked at her man and smiled.Was there anyone these days who could effortlessly pull off being the gentleman without looking pompous and funny.It was only her Neil!

Sitting back in the car,Neil turned to Mi RAe and leaning over her kisssed her again.This tim ethe kiss was not restrained or sweet but the kind that burned.Finally after exploting her mout hfor a few moments,Neil gave a small bite on Mi Rae's lips and moved back a bit.Lkcking his lips slowly,he looked at Mi Rae and said,"This was your reward for being you!Now come on let us go on a date."

Tonight's date was the most 'normal' date the two of them had without any interference from chefs or reporters or horses or aunts... And the time passed in the blink of an eye. Neil and Mi Rae did all the normal chit chat and discovered each other's likes and dislikes. Neil told her about his younger brothers and Ryu and Alicia. Mi Rae talked about her life with her crazy family and how she had come to the city to distance herself from their overprotective love. Two hours had passed and many guests on other tables had changed, but the two were unaware of this, lost in their own world. It wasn't until the waiter came to take their dessert order and reminded them it was time to close did they realize the passage of time. If someone had asked them what they had for dinner, the couple would have been blank.Neil who had an insatiable sweet tooth was quick to order two peanut butter tarts for himself and then looked at Mi Rae for her opinion. Realizing that she had no idea how much she had eaten but judging herself to be full, she declined.But Neil was not about to let that happen..Stopping the departing waiter, he ordered a caramel pudding with extra toffee sauce.

Mi looked at Neil in amazement.She was positive she had never told Neil about her preference for toffee sauce...

She looked at Neil and asked directly, "Why did you order that!?"Maybe it was a coincidence she thought or maybe he felt like eating that as well..Mi Rae knew that peanut butter was his favorite as she had been reeatedly told that by his housekeeper.But how did he guess what was her favorite?

Neil looked at her with a mischevious smile and answered,"Because it is your favorite!You luuuurrvvvvv toffee sauce."

Mi Rae felt her mouth drop open,"How did you know that?"

Neil gestured her closer and said in a conspirational tone,"You do realize that we have met often at business functions in the past..And I have very good observation skills!You never eat anything at those get togethers except that.."Neil looked at her mouth which had fallen open and then said evilly,"Are you not impressed?If you want to know anything else I can even tell you how old lady Wen cleans her teeth in the finger bowl at the end of the dinners...

Mi Rae was thoroughly awed and impressed with Neil's observation skills.But again the sly and clever fox did not tell her that he knew about lady Wen not because he had observed her but because she had told him about it,whereas he knew hers because..he just knew..he did not know why..
