Nobody noticed the arrival of the man in the tense atmosphere until the man placed a heavy hand on Director Lee's shoulder and said in an authorative voice,"Let Us Negotiate."

Everyone in the room was shocked and turned to stare at the new person.The goons went on instant alert and the leader of the goons gestured to the others to surround the new threat.The leader could see that the man was dangerous as he had not hesitated in coming into the room in such a situation.THe goons all took out their guns and pointed it at the new man's head while the leader looked at the man and pointed the gun to Mi Rae's head.

The man rolled his eyes and putting his other hand on Director Wang pressed hard.Director Wang slumped to the side on Attorney Xu..The other goons' eyes widened and they looked shocked at Director Wang who was currently slipping to the floor..Attorney Xu's hands were trembling as he tried to catch the slumped over man.

The man who had just caused this terror simply pusher Director Wang to the floor and sat in his seat.Turning to the other director he said,"Yes..we were about to negotiate.You were saying something about the Longs' not coming to help this woman.."

Director Lee looked at the unconscious Director Wang,then at the guns pointed at Mi Rae and stranger's head and the stranger's hand that was still placed on his shoulder.The Director did not think to be scared and continued arrogantly,"Young Man.We are handling a private matter.It is of no concern to you.Why do you want to be the sacrificial lamb for someone else?"

Mi Rae on the other hand was now beyond worried.This man looked like he could handle everything but really,he could have called the police instead of walking in foolishly..And she wondered if Director Wang was still alive or had this newly arrived madman killed him?

The stranger looked unperturned at the threat and smiled openly,"But you said you wanted to negotiate.I am a good negotiator.My name is Ah Hai and once I understood that my services were needed,I came in.And regarding being the lamb,do I really look like a lamb or a wolf?Let me take this pencil and a paper and we can begin the negotiation.I'll write the points in order of both parties.But before that,to be able to negotiate,the scales need to be somewhat equal.So first we need to get rid of a few of the people."Ah Hai had picked up a pencil and threw it towards the leader,the one who had pointed the gun at Mi Rae.And in the next instant,two guns were in his hand,one pointed at Director Lee the other at the now bleeding leader.The pencil was embedded in the man's neck at what looked to be a very painful angle.But Ah Hai continued to talk in the same tone,"Mr Leader,I suggest you surrender your gun and tell your followers to do the same as well.And stop trying to take that pencil out,if it comes out,you will die from choking on your own blood.You need to go to a good doctor to get that removed before infections set in."

Every man present in the room was trembling in their pants including the director and the goons.They had definitely done something to offent the fates today that they had been given such a scary man to deal with.All of them threw the weapons on the table and moved back with their hands raised.

Director Lee still had some guts left and maybe his sense of danger was a bit lacking,he tried to explain,"Look,this woman was trying to exhort us and we were only trying to teach her a lesson.Do you want to support such a person. You seem to be an upright man.We are not planning on harming her only trying to scare her. You know people in uniform tend to be a little uptight. Seeing that you have caused harm to my business partner, if we complain that you harmed us, you would have to suffer for no reason.Let us not make this a personal issue.Please leave us be."

Ah Hai smiled at that and said in a serene tone"You are right about a couple of things.Men in uniforms are a little uptight and since I am a man of uniform,I am goint to take a personal offence at this statement.Adding in the fact that you are presently threatening my future sister in law,it is personal!You seem like a reasonable man.You understand my point.Don't you?"

The person who was most shocked at this statement was Mi Rae herself. She felt as if she had entered some sort of a parallel universe. She observed carefully and could see some similarities between Neil and this man but what were the chances of such coincidences.

Her boring and simple life had turned into a suspense thriller ever since she got involved with the Longs'...

The goons and Director Lee were now starting to sweat a bucket while Ah Hai leaned back and waited for the police to arrive.
