Solo Player Arvin Chapter 76

"So you have planned everything?" the old master asked Han.
"Yes my lord. I have planned everything. From the bomb location to the person who put them there. Everything is well planned out. I just need your permission to execute it." Han said.
"Hmm." The old master mumbled. While inwardly the old master started thinking that if Han had really betrayed him then he sure does got some balls to come here and have the audacity to ask for mana stones bombs.
"And my lord, I have made a decision that I regret. So please forgive me for that. I have erased the runes the gear that you gave me. I apologize for my actions my lord." Han said while bowing his head.
"Why did you do that elder Han?" the third elder asked.
"Oh… I did it because I know Terumi. I bet just after a day or two after I took off, she started convincing everyone that I am up to no good. I bet that she would have said that I have either betrayed the Cullen family or I am planning something against Alman. She would have said I have no intention to kill the members of the Cross family." Han said with a big smile on his face. After listening to Han's comment the third elder didn't say a word and looked at Han intently, trying to guess whether he had really betrayed them or not...
"And by looking at your faces, I can only presume that I am right," Han said.
"Of course you are right. As well as I am, old man. I know that you are planning something. I also know that you are not Han. The real Han was the guy whose body we found at the back of the alley." Terumi said while glaring at Han.
"Yeah right," Han said with a smile. But then he noticed the reactions of the old master and the third elder. Seeing their reaction, the smile on Han's face vanished and turn into a serious face.
"My lord, judging by your reaction I guess that you believed her. You really think that I betrayed you?" Han asked the old master.
"Do I have any reason to believe that you didn't betray us? All the evidence is against you." The old master said.
"My lord, I can believe that the third elder would instantly believe her. But I didn't expect it from you. I thought for the years that I have served you loyally, you should have a little bit of trust in me." Han said.

"Shut the hell up, old man. I am just sick of you trying to prove that you are innocent. I don't buy your farce nor does the third elder and the old master. So just shut up and prepare to die by the hands of the strongest powerhouse in the Cullen family." Terumi said while standing up.
"Dying by the strongest powerhouse in the Cullen family… Why would I commit suicide? And second of all my lord… Why would I even betray you?" Han said while still talking to the old master and completely ignoring Terumi.
"I know about your past Han. I know about your son. I know how badly you wanted to kill Alman. I know about your plan… You are not strong enough to kill him with your strength. That is why you want mana stone bomb to kill him." the old master said. While the old master was saying those words, Terumi was glaring at Han for ignoring her.
"My Lord forgive me for my impudence but I have to make something very clear… First of all, she is not the strongest powerhouse of the Cullen family…" Han said.
As soon as he said those words, he abruptly got up and grabbed Terumi's neck. This action shocked both the third elder and the old master. While Terumi was also shocked by his actions. But she then instinctively punched him with all of her strength on Han's face.
BAAAM
The strong punch of Terumi send shock waves in the whole room. But to her surprise, her strongest punch when collided with Han's face didn't even make him flinch. He stood there with his head held high and unfazed by her actions.
"As you saw that I am the strongest powerhouse of the Cullen family. And although I don't about the extent of strength that Alman possesses, I believe that I am only a few notches weaker them him. It is my theory but I am the second strongest man on the 1st floor. if you don't believe me then I could snap her neck like a twig you like." Han said while looking at the old master.
"I…I…" the old master mumbled as he didn't know what was he suppose to say now.
"It is true that I wanted to kill Alman for a long time now. But I would never jeopardize the Cullen family for the sake of my revenge." Han said while letting go of Terumi's neck.

Seeing this action, the third elder as well as the old master started revaluating what they originally thought about Han. They both knew that this type of strength that could overwhelm Terumi could not be achieved in one single day. It has to be accumulated over years. If Han possessed this type of strength from the beginning and didn't show it to anyone else, that could mean only one thing. He was the real trump card of the Cullen family.
Looking at his records, all of his missions had a 98% success rate. The mission when his son was killed was the only mission when he failed. But aside from that mission, there was no mission that Han was not able to pull off. That meant that when the time comes to help the Cullen family he never backed out in using his full strength. Plus with his influence and track record, he could have become an influential person in the whole Cullen family. And yet he stayed in the library of the Cullen estate…
"Why didn't you tell me that you possess this much strength?" the old master asked.
"If I would have told you about my strength before then what would have been your orders when this war between us and the Cross family would have started," Han asked.
"… Massacre them…."
"That is why," Han said.
"So what now?" the third elder asked.
"Now, it is up to the old master. What does he want to do? If he wants to massacre the Cross family then we would do just that. And if not, then all of this is over. I would finally retire and live the rest of my life in peace." Han said.
"Then that's great. That means the war is over." The third elder said.
"How?" Han asked as he was confused.
"Well, the head of the Cross family was killed by his son about a week ago by his oldest son. Then the oldest son became the new head of the Cross family. He had sent a peace treaty between us and them. And the old master had accepted that treaty." The third elder said.
"That is very great news," Han said with a smile on his face….
While inwardly Arvin screamed as he listened to this news….
'FFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!'
.....
"Do you really think that the guy that the old man met was really Lopt?" Park Shin Hye asked.
"I think that there is a possibility." Park Go Gum said.
"I think so too. Do you remember, back when Lopt had his magic sensitivity tested in the HTC branch of this floor… We interviewed that blond girl…. Phylly someone. She told us that Alman told that guy that if he needs any help in the future then he is free to contact him." Alice Mark added.
"Hmm… Yes, if he got the information beforehand that someone was looking for him, then who would be the best person that he could ask for help on this floor. It would be none other the Alman himself." Park Shin Hye commented.
"And do you remember what that old man told us? He told us that the ax was broken. We know from the records that if enough amount of mana is provided then the ax will heal itself and become whole again." Park Go Gum said.
"But for that to happen it also needs to be in presence of its master," Alice said.
"Yes, that too… But if we assume that Lopt somehow became the master of the ax. And if Alman extended the hand of friendship towards him then there is a possibility that they could repair the ax. Thus what the old man saw must be true." Park Go Gum said.
"But why would Alman extend his friendship to him?" Park Shin Hye asked.
"We don't know that. But one thing is clear. If there is someone that could have hid him from us, then that would have been Alman. We don't know the reason for their collaboration but that doesn't mean that we should rule this out." Alice added.
"So what should we do now?" Park Shin Hye asked.
"We would have to confront Alman face to face and ask him this himself," Alice said with a serious expression.

Making of a Genius [A Progression LitRPG]
What does it take to climb to the top of the academic ladder? Lexus came face to face with his mediocrity the moment he arrived at Cambridge University to study computer science. There was a ceiling that he could not overcome, an intellectual world that was unreachable. But if you give a chicken an eagle's wings, it will fly higher than you could ever imagine. And that was exactly what happened to Lexus: with the help of a system, he could make it big. Schedule:1 chapter per week (every Friday evening at 5:30pm GMT). The weekly schedule is to allow time for research and factual accuracy where required. Author's Note: The story is about a computer science student at university, gradually improving and embarking on the path to become a world-renowned genius-level expert with the help of a system. There'll be a lot of studying and academics, but imagine being the best in your year. Easily. At that point, academics stops being stressful and starts being fun, doesn't it? The initial chapters are heavy on mathematical detail, but I don't expect anyone to actually read through them thoroughly. It's fine to skim them or even skip them, but I hope you try to get a sense of the progress being made, and feel happy for Lexus when something 'clicks' inside his brain :) As the story progresses, later chapters will go into less depth into individual questions, though I aim to remain consistent in terms of scientific accuracy/feasibility. Welcome, and I hope you enjoy the story!
