Solo Player Arvin Chapter 119

With the call of the tower, it was very easy to find the ascending tower. One just has to follow their instinct and they would reach the destination that they were looking for. With that Arvin took off from the gravy falls with the hopes to ascend to the new floor.
In the past month, Arvin read almost all the books that he got from Stuart and Martha's library back in Nekota city. So he already had an idea about how he should approach the upcoming events.
Arvin now knew that the 3rd floor is also like a desert. But the desert of the 3rd floor is very harsh when compared to the 2nd floor. On the second floor, the land here was like a barren desert. But on the 3rd floor, there are some patches of barren land but other than that the whole floor is covered with sand. That makes it very difficult to travel through the desert.
Arvin had made some preparations and now he fends off anything that comes his way…
…
After two days worth of traveling, Arvin finally started seeing the red horizon. That showed that he was near his destination. From the books, Arvin came to be aware of the red gulf of the second floor. The red gulf is a tall rock formation on the second floor. The special thing about them is that they are as tall as the ascending tower.
From the books he found out the ascending tower of the second floor is embedded in the gulf. And to ascend one can either take the ascending tower or climb up the gulf…
The second floor and third floor are made like a structure of a staircase. And the red gulf is the step. So one can either climb up the step or one can take an elevator. It is totally up to the individual. But either way, Arvin was happy that he would be able to ascend now…
Seeing the red gulf after a very long flight gave Arvin felt great relief. He felt excited on the same level when he gets his hands on a fancy wine bottle. He increased his speed and started flying at a very fast speed. But as he got closer to the gulf a notification pop for the Arvin…

[Congratulations player on getting this far.
Based on the Player's strength you are eligible for a Bonus Ascension.
Would you like to continue with the Bonus Ascension?
Y/N
Please note that you will not be able to back down in any circumstances. You would have to go through the Bonus Ascension]
Arvin looked at the notification he didn't understand what was Bonus Ascension. But he could see that the term Bonus Ascension was highlighted in the message like it was some kind of external link. So Arvin tried to click on the highlighted term and soon enough one more messaged popped up in front of Arvin…
[Bonus Ascension- When a player surpasses a certain limit of strength, he/she gets a chance to ascend through Bonus Ascension. In this type of Ascension to the other floor which is very difficult to perform.
Normally when ascending one would have to fight the guardian of the beast. But in the Bonus Ascension of this floor, one had to fight a very stronger version of the guardian beast, as well as perform a task that would be given by the system.
If a player is able to pull off the Bonus Ascension then he/she would be entitled to a special price that was designated to the floor.
Every floor has a Bonus Ascension option. And every floor offers different rewards for the Bonus Ascension. ]
Arvin understood the meaning of the message. He understood what was Bonus Ascension. Thinking about the pros and cons of the situation Arvin decided that he would like to choose the option of Bonus Ascension.
Arvin understood how much he is capable of. In the past month and he had spent a lot of time working on himself. And he was feeling confident that he would be able to ascend without any difficulties. So Arvin closed the message box explaining what was bonus ascension and clicked on the 'Yes' option thus choosing the Bonus Ascension.
As he closed the 'Yes' option another message screen appeared in front of Arvin…
[Tasks to complete:
1>Fight the guardian of the second floor.
2>Climb up to the third floor using the red gulf. ]
[Please note that you would have to fight the guardian of the second floor before you start climbing the red gulf. You just have to touch the red gulf and you would come face to face with the guardian of the second floor.]

Reading the messager Arvin understood what he had to do. So for now Arvin changed his direction towards the nearest city. That city's name is Kwaab City…
Kwaab city was a city that is very close to the Ascension tower. As it was very close to the Ascension tower, it was a very good place to cultivate. As well as it was located near the tower so various strong beasts of the floor could be found near the city. That is why just like Arcane city this city was also known for hunting beasts.
Many stronger warriors of the second floor could be found in this city. So Arvin had to stay low while resting in the city. Arvin wanted to be at his peak condition before he takes a swing at the Bonus Ascension. So Arvin had decided that he would rest up here in this city for a day or two and then he would go on ahead.
Arvin had read about this city from a book that he got from the library. According to that book, this city as well as the Palm springs were the two major cities on the second floor. This city sells everything that a warrior could need, from weapons to potions and from battle gear to waterproof underwear...
After altering his direction a little bit, Arvin was able to reach Kwaab City after a 12-hour journey. Arvin was thinking that as he was able to see the red line on the horizon it meant that he must have been pretty close to the red gulf. But he was wrong. While calculating the time he would take to reach the red gulf, he didn't consider the size of the red gulf.
It was very tall, comparable to an Ascension tower. So although Arvin was able to see the outline of the red gulf, it was pretty far away. That is why it took around 12 more hours to finally reach Kwaab city. Even though he reached the Kwaab city, the red gulf was some distance away from the Kwaab city.
Arvin was very tired after the long journey. So as soon as he landed in the city, he quickly wore his clothes, disguised himself, and started looking for an inn to stay…
Arvin arrived at the city around the time when it had started going dark. The city had just come alive from the activity. Arvin was very intrigued by the city and he wanted to explore it, but he ignored it all and started looking for an inn.
Because of the courtesy of the golden-haired man, Arvin was not short on money nor he was short on resources. When looking for the inn, Arvin didn't have any preference about the kind of inn that he would like to stay in. So when Arvin layed his eyes on the first inn that he found, he immediately booked a room there and happily went to his room to have a good night's sleep…
….
While in one of the fancy inns of the Kwaab city, Xander was sitting and having some wine. He had stayed back on this floor for a month now. And yet he could not find any clue about the whereabouts of Gracie and her comrades. He had already learned that she was involved in some incident in Palm springs. So she had become a fugitive on the second as well as on the third floor.
One of the customers of the street had recorded the whole thing from that they were able to recognize that the fennec fox in the video was in fact the city lord of the Nekota city. Many people have been looking for her. And yet a month had passed and there is a report about her sighting or anything.
Xander thought the Grahmin Clan would rethink their partnership with Gracie. They would retract their support for her. After all, they wouldn't do that then they would be going against the Bahamut Empire. But till no such statement or gesture had been given out by the clan signifying that they had retracted their support. That puzzled Xander….
According to him if the Grahmin clan isn't withdrawing their support that meant that either they are too dumb or they have reasons to believe that Bahamut Empire would not be able to do anything to them.
And that was a very scary thing to think about.

BladeMage
Arenya Azural, a dragon-blooded farmer from a small town in the middle of nowhere, always dreamed of being a great hero, battling demons and monsters as a force of magic and power. Now her dream has a chance to become reality - she's a new student at Ba'al Cedric's Academy of Adventurers, a university for warrriors and heroes to learn to battle against the surprisingly amicable demon armies of the neighboring country in an endless war nobody really remembers the point of by now. She's also a BladeMage - an exceedingly rare and exceedingly difficult dual class that few have ever managed to succeed in, but those who have gain immense power. Arenya has a long road ahead of her, with rival students, duels with demons, and a host of benchmarks she must pass in order to keep her scholarship. Will she make it to level 100 and beyond, or die too many times and be forced to return home, tail (literally) between her legs to a life of farming and dreaming of adventure? BladeMage is a LitRPG with a lighter focus on stats. It features battles, leveling up, giant monsters, a bit of fanservice, and more. [Update: The LitRPG elements are proving themselves relatively unimportant as I continue to write. They may be dropped entirely, in which case I will change the prior chapters as well as update this description.] Content warnings: As a story featuring lots of fighting, there will be blood and death. However, since characters rarely die permanently, this will not be a hyperviolent story with extreme gore for the sake of it. Some sexual content and fanservice may be included, but this should remain firmly at the PG-13 level and there will be no sexual violence of any kind. The Cover: Someone suggested that I should have a dragon girl with a miniskirt on the cover. I can't draw and I don't know who to ask or commission, so a few minutes in the GNU Image Manipulation Program and the masterful cover above was created! Please feel free to use your imagination to see a gorgeous half-dragon with azure hair, wings, and a tail, holding a lightning-infused sword while fighting demons.
