Arvin helped that woman to drink up half of the potion with his mouth. As he finished half of the potion, her symptoms started getting better. Her high fever was started going down. She was not that sweaty anymore. But Arvin saw that small goosebumps had started forming on her skin. Which meant that she was getting chilly.

Arvin then took out a blanket from his inventory and threw it over the woman. After rechecking the woman, Arvin turned around to see the child. She was looking towards Arvin. She had tears in her eyes. Arvin then walked up to the girl. It was time for some healthy chatting…

From the moment Arvin took the girl and the woman, till he tied the girl with ropes, the girl did not speak a single word. She did not even scream when Arvin was binding her. Which made it very obvious that the girl was incapable of speaking. Which meant that she was a mute. That is why Arvin tied her whole body but left her face as it is…

"Can you understand me?" Arvin asked the girl. To this question, the girl just looked at him with no clue whether she understood him.

"If you understand me then I need to tell you that the woman is dead. And now I am gonna eat her dead body." Arvin said. As he said those words, the girl started sobbing hard. She literally started making tears of the size of a marble…

"Good. That means you understand me. I was kidding she is alive. I was just fucking with you." Arvin said. He was already suspicious that this girl may be a mute but she was not deaf. That is why he played a little game with her. As the child heard his sentence she stopped crying and started looking at him with her angry gaze.

"Now listen to me carefully kid. I will set you free. Then I will go feed whatever the fuck that is." Arvin said while looking at his mount.

"The woman is fine. She was poisoned. But I took care of her. She would live, I think. I am not a doctor so I can't guarantee anything. So please don't get your hopes up. " Arvin said while looking at the child.

"When I release you, I need you to go and look after her. Okay. And if you see anything happening to her, you call me. Got it." Arvin said. To this, that girl nodded her head.

"And now remember, I have only given her half of the potion that could cure her. One would need to feed her all of the remaining portion of the potion to make her well. Now when I let you go, you behave. Or I would not give her all the potion. Do you get what I am saying?" Arvin asked. To this girl nodded her head.

Arvin then let the girl free. He had shown her that he would not harm her or the woman in any way. In fact, he helped the woman in front of the child to gain her trust. He didn't who was that child or who was that woman. He helped them because he could. And by helping that woman and the kid Arvin was feeling happy.

But it was then he felt sense some killing intent in the air. Sensing that he knew that the enemies have caught up to them. Arvin then got up and walked up to the girl who was sitting by the woman was looking at her face with a tinge of sadness. He came down to ear level and said…

"I gotta go and do some hunting. Take care of her in the meantime." Arvin said. Then he turned away and started walking towards the direction he sensed some mana…

Arvin gained some distance between his camp, he shouted…

"I know that you are out there. Why don't you come out and fight me man to man." Arvin shouted while looking at the places where he could sense mana. Arvin waited for a few seconds. But as no one came out from hiding, Arvin understood that he would have to get his hands dirty…

"FINE SUIT YOURSELF," Arvin said.

Then he took out kunai knives and started running towards his nearest target. As he came closer to the target he jumped in the air. While in the air, he threw the kunai knives towards the mana signature that he could sense.

With Arvin's strength, that knife penetrated the sand and pierced the person that was hiding in the sand. As Arvin felt that his knife had pierced the man he pulled the chains to get the person out of hiding…

"GET OVER HERE!" Arvin shouted.

As the person came out of the sand, Arvin fell onto the person and he punched the man straight on the face making him fall to the ground. Seeing that Arvin was able to sense their comrades all the other men started coming out of their respective hiding places.

Arvin looked at the people that have come to kill him and the women with her. He could sense that there was no one in these people that could pose a threat to him. So Arvin with a big grin on his face, Arvin started running towards them…

With his kunai knives, Arvin started running towards them. In return, those people also started running towards Arvin. Everyone took out their respective weapons as they all knew a fierce battle was about to commence…

Roughly after 5 mins after the battle started Arvin returned to the camp. There he saw that the girl had fallen asleep with the woman. Arvin smiled as he looked that the peaceful face of the girl sleeping with the woman.

Arvin then went on to fed the mount some of the grains that he had as a leftover from the raid on Alman's mansion. And after feeding the mount, Arvin started cooking his own dinner. He took some of the meat that he has stored in his inventory and started cooking out.

While cooking Arvin started thinking about Loki and Hela. Since he had lost contact with them he had started thinking about what he should do next if they didn't appear ever again? Loki was his teacher and he was the one that taught him all about magic. With him gone, Arvin's magic practice is bound to suffer.

Arvin also understood that till now he had relied on the shapeshifting for far too long. According to what Hela had told him, his abilities would come back in some time. But what if Hela was wrong? Arvin had to be prepared for the worst.

So Arvin started thinking about the events that he should work on while either his abilities started working again or Loki comes back. So he started formulating plans about what he should do next to stay out of trouble and how could he move around without gathering any attention to himself.

While thinking about his next steps Arvin looked at the woman that he had picked up. He first thought that maybe these guys were some random travelers who were just attacked by bandits at night when they were camping. But after fighting those men out there, Arvin thought that maybe this was not the case.

These men were strong, not as strong as him, but were still strong. That showed that according to the standards of this floor, these men could be considered elites. So what were they doing running around a helpless woman and a kid? It didn't make any sense.

All that he could conclude from the facts in front of him was that these women were either hiding something valuable with them or these guys are not what they appeared to be. Arvin may have saved them, but now he is faced with a question… Should he stick with them?

Arvin had to stay low for the time period. And moving around with women that are wanted by the elites of the floor was that not the way to stay low-key. Arvin first thought that maybe he should leave them with enough water and food to survive. Then he should get out of here. He should just abandon them here.

But if does that then that would mean that he had wasted his precious potion on the wrong woman. So that would be a huge bummer…

But it was then a strange thought came to Arvin's mind. He knew that the fennec fox and other clans don't see face to face. They all had a huge rivalry between them. Assuming that the woman is from the fennec fox's clan then she could help him give him sanctuary from the Aurora clan. After all, they were the only one that was after him.

He thought that maybe he could use these women as a chip of bargain in getting him sanctuary. If he gets sanctuary then that would mean that he would be able to change his status as a wanted criminal.….
