《Reaper of The Wizarding World》Last Minute Gift

As I make my way to the bookstore I am half tempted to go to the candy store instead. The meeting with Mr. Olivander didn't last as long as I expected so they might not even be there yet. Against my expectations, I catch sight of Ron standing outside the bookstore holding a paper bag with a bumblebee in a tophat.
"Ron," I call from the alley as I step out onto the main street.
He holds up his free hand with a smile. As I step closer I can see Hermione in the store window skimming through books.
"Where's Harry?" I ask Ron as I get close.
He sighs "He went to Spintwitches to look around."
I click my tongue "The sporting store? I hope he doesn't get something, I don't want my present to be obsolete."
He looks a bit curious "What did you get him?"
I give him a sly smile "You'll see tomorrow."
Ron rolls his eyes "So what did Ollivander need you for?"
"He just needed to talk about my wand. It was his family treasure after all." I say as I reach for the door handle.
He looks a bit surprised as he stops me "I can't go inside."
I'm a bit surprised but he holds up his Honeydukes bag "Ah, the candy. Then I'll be quick."
He looks disappointed but I ignore it and step inside. An older wizard is standing behind the register area with an account book on the desk in front of himself. He gives me a side-eye with a dull gaze. I reply with a smile but he just looks back at the bookmarking things with his quill.
I step up to the desk holding my smile "Excuse me, where are the books on magical creatures."

Without looking up at me he gestures to his left "Isle three, section two, row four."
"Thanks," I say turning around to see Hermione peering past one of the further isles.
"Soren! When did you get here?" She asks curiously
"Just now, I was talking to Ron outside for a second before coming in."
She nods in understanding "What are you here for? You said a last-minute gift right?"
I shrug as she follows me over to aisle three. "I figured I would get a present for Luna since it seemed like she has been having a hard time. I mean I even got obligatory candy for Katie and that girl… Fay?"
"How kind of you, you remembered my friend's name." Sarcasm leaks from her voice as she rolls her eyes.
I smirk as I kneel down to row four "I try." I skim the shelf with my eyes judging the books by their titles. I see a few interesting names and pull them out.
"So what did Ollivander want from you?" She asks in a similar curious tone as Ron.
"He just wanted to talk about my wand," I say dismissing the subject.
"Really? His letter sounded pretty urgent." She asks, thinking too much about it.
I give her a smile to say 'Please stop talking.' I close the book I'm reading and choose it for Luna's present. It is titled 'New and Possible Discoveries, The Magic of Magical Creatures', it is quite a lengthy title but it seems like something she would like.
"You find what you're looking for?" I ask while putting the other books away.
She shrugs "I just wanted to see if they had anything I haven't seen yet, but I guess I expected too much. They do have some newer things but nothing I'm interested in."

I nod "Alright, I'll go pay then."
As we approach the counter the old man doesn't even look up from his ledger. "Five Sickles and thirteen Knuts." He says with a tired tone.
My eyes narrow at the odd price but pull out Six Sickles nonetheless. As I reach out my hand to give him the money he pushes sixteen knuts towards me. I quickly take the money to end the awkward interaction and open the door for Hermione.
As we step out we are met by Ron and Harry sitting on the side of the street eating candy. Hermione looks at them oddly as I sigh.
"Guys, it isn't even lunch," I say sitting next to Harry.
Ron shrugs as he bites the head off a chocolate frog "Is there even a time when you can't eat candy."
'He isn't wrong,' I think to myself as I look at the half-full bag of candy. "Hand me a few of the Bertie Botts jelly beans. I'm feeling lucky right now."
Harry hands me a handful of jelly beans and I pop them in my mouth quickly one by one.
"Green Apple
Cherry
Berry
Chocolate
Marmalade?
BLEH That one was awful, it tasted like blood."
Ron smirks "Liver flavor probably, I like those ones."
I roll my eyes "Course you do. Tastes like I'm licking a rusty old pipe." I gag in an exaggerated fashion.
Harry laughs as he eats one, his face immediately scrunching. Hermione giggles at his puckered face "Do we want to head back to the Inn?"
I shrug "Sure, I don't have anything else I need. You guys ready to go?" The other two nod as they pack up their candy.
The rest of the day goes well, I enjoy having a day out with my friends. I try to keep my mind off of the 'other things' for now. Once night begins to fall we all go back to our rooms and I start to write a letter to Lucius.
'To The First Servant,
Get rid of the bounty on the head of Soren Black and send me all the information you can get on the 'King of The Red Sun'. Start the rumour that those who go after him or his family will meet only Death. If this task is impossible, the purge of the vampires will begin. This will be my only letter regarding this topic.
The Reaper'
I hand the letter over to Shy before opening the window for him. He quickly flies off to the south and I go back to lay in the bed moving my mind to the issue of Salazar Slytherin.
"It should be fine right? They have Dumbledore, and I'm sure there are Aurors coming to help. A few might die though… That's not my problem right?" I think to myself aloud.
As I think aloud I hear a knock on the door pulling me out of my head. My eyes narrow as I look at the door, Ron and Harry are asleep and I doubt Hermione is bold enough to come at night. I hear the knock again so I finally get up.
"Coming."
My eyes widen as I open the door to a familiar face "Sis Dora?"

Dream of the Abyss
Elisa Mary Grant died in a hospital bed after being stuck in it for six months, and like any other, her soul drifted away from her husk when she passed. For her, death was a release. It merely meant that she no longer have to wake up in pain, breathing through tubes and have doctors flood her veins with dubious chemicals for “experimental treatment”. Free from her mortal constraints and useless body, she felt… at peace, serene, even. Death is bliss, after all, when objectively living sucked to the point of extreme. Therefore, there was no reason to mourn at all and she knew she definitely didn't. ... That was until, on her way for a proper reincarnation, she found herself rudely interrupted and left stranded in the great NoWhere. “Wonderful,” she remarked as she floated in the [Beyond], “Just when I thought that suicide is the answer.” Author's note: Updates every Tuesday-Wednesday, probably some time in between. ... P.S Notes: Contains existential questions and nihilistic themes, rather philosophical. Will be rather sluggish until the MC gets her shit together. P.SS Notes: Story takes time to develop. And maybe uncomfortable. It's not gonna be action-packed or filled with battles, I think. Anyway, it is kinda unusual. P. SSS Notes: It is not LitRpg. Don't be fooled.
