Here are the rules for trading and bartering items with other players. Most of the rules are fairly straightforward and obvious. But if there are some rules you don't understand or need help understanding. Just post a comment on the latest Scenario that's been posted up, and I'll try to get back to you with an answer.
1. If you have an item you want sell for gold or trade for something else. Post up a comment below that reads:
Offering - Dragon's Breath for 2000 gold Pieces Or
Offering - Dragon's Breath for Resilience Items Or
Offering - Dragon's Breath for Resistance Items
2. You can post up as many items that you wish, stating what your looking for in return for your item.
3. If your interested in an item you see posted up in the comments section below simply send them a message or reply to their comment.
4. Once you've completed trading with another player for you item. Please edit your comment to read:
Offering - Dragon's Breath for 2000 gold Pieces (SOLD)
Offering- Demon's Wish for +5 Resilience Items (SOLD)
Offering- Spirit's Edge for Resilience Items (SOLD)
Offering- Shield of the Ancestors Potion for 10,000 gold pieces (SOLD)
5. And make sure to remove any items up for trade from your stats sheet
6. If you wish to sell items you've collected on your journey such as ears or valuable items you've found for gold, you should check out the MarketPlace for prices if your not sure what their worth.
7. Any loot that you've found that comes with a name, means it is a unique item. These items can be sold for a good deal of gold.
8. While at the MarketPlace, remember you can only purchase one of each item. Once you've purchased an item add it to your stat sheet.

9. Also remember that you have only two hands and two feet (Except for Centaurs, who have hooves)which means you usually only wield one item. A two handed weapon like a poleaxe, bow or spear means you can only equip one item. Those who prefer using single handed weapons, can use a sword, mace, Warhammer, war axe, with a shield.
10. There will be some specialized equipment available in the MarketPlace, that will usually be specific to a certain type of race. The same with some weapons.
11. You can usually equip around three items to strengthen your resilience

March 16, 2021 - Hiatus note: I will come back to this story! I'm really struggling with it, though. It's been a number of years and I kind of forgot what the original outline was. I still remember the main path, but not any of the details, because I stupidly didn't write an outline. Progress is being made. I'd like a very decent sized buffer before I start posting again. Don't want to get hopes up only to immediately disappoint! ----- Amy Barnes, an aspiring chemical researcher, finds herself dying from cancer. One of her most desperate prayers is answered in a way that she'd never dreamed possible, and she finds herself living a new life as a dungeon. I've thought up a whole story, start to finish, and thought it'd be a blast to put it into words. Other than the violent and morbid aspects, this story is suitable for children. Aside from the vocabulary, that is. I will avoid the temptation to have any cursing, sexuality, or gore. Excessive gore, I suppose - it is a dungeon story, after all. I’ll do a little research from time to time, but this story will not have a great deal of rigor. I’ve made Amy’s knowledge comparable to my own for that reason. There’s a few things she knows more about than I do, and a few things that she knows less about. Unlike me, she doesn’t have access to Google - it’s a non issue for her to be more knowledgeable than me, on occasion :P This story does not use the same magic system that I’ve used in either Sorcery in Boston or A Summoner’s Confession. This one is mostly intention based, and designed to be easier access for people who are more used to the idea of, “It’s magic, therefore it works” kind of thinking. Do note that Amy is, in most senses of the term, overpowered. This goes along with the usual dungeon core stories. She’s not more powerful than other dungeons per se, but she does have knowledge and intelligence that puts them to shame. I thought about doing this in a LitRPG style, but systems take balance, and I wanted this to be pure fun to write.This story was inspired from a few sources. Despite the title, it wasn’t really inspired by Of Mice and Men, though some of the themes match. Rather, I’ve taken inspiration from a few dungeon core novels on Royal Road Legends for the main idea. Many conventions of dungeon core stories have been perverted from the genre, however. I’ve taken my usual science-loving self to town to play around with the powers, and I can only hope you have half as much fun reading this as I have had writing it.

After a few seconds he begins again with weariness creeping into his voice. “As the Messenger of Crucible I have received the value of your life. You shall be awarded a body with potential equaling the value you have brought to this place in accordance with the laws of the higher realms. Now you shall depart for Crucible, but first; I, Jaze, will give you some advice.” The old man, Jaze, he had named himself paused a time. Time enough that Gray began to wonder if he was still present, when he suddenly continued in a low and serious tone, “You will undoubtedly have great potential Gray of Earth, but it is still only potential. What could be is not necessarily what will be. If you step foolishly in my world, if you can not live up to the potential you have bartered for, Crucible will crush you mercilessly and tear away your very soul.” A thought, cheerful and light was heard from Gray before his presence was sent rocketing away like a shooting star. “I’m looking forward to it.”
