Fredrick looks between the kids then back at me then Theo, "I will take my leave first. Will you be coming home tonight?"
Theo nods, "Yes Father."
Fredrick nods as he turns around, "I will send you a letter when I break the curse." I just wave him off as he vanishes into the crowd and Hermione pulls me into a hug.
"Who was that?" She asks letting go of me so Daphne can give me a hug.
After giving Daphne a quick hug I gesture to Theo, "His father."
Hermione gives me an odd look, "I thought he was… you know, racist? What were you all talking about."
I shrug, "He isn't that bad."
Theo gives me the odd look as Fred speaks up, "It was nice doing business with you Lord Black, but we will be on our way."
I give them a smirk, "Don't spend it all in one spot," they don't respond as they are quickly scurrying off.
"Girls, can you excuse us for a moment?" Theo asks as he wraps his arm around me and pulls me away from them.
"What in the hell did you do to my Father? I've never seen him treat someone so… kindly, or with respect." Theo says shivering a little.
I smirk, "I told you, I would get him on our side if you couldn't, that's all you need to know."
Theo gives me scrupulous eyes, "Are you the next Dark Lord?"
I pull away as I throw my hands up, "Why does everyone keep asking me that?! No." I give an annoyed huff as I walk back to the girls.
"Shall we go find the dynamic duo?" I ask in a refreshed tone ignoring the gaze of Theo who is still giving me an odd look.
Daphne looks between us confused before nodding while Hermione says 'Sure'. Like that, we head to the second-hand store and quickly find the Weasley family as expected. I raise my arm as I see Charlie from outside the shop.

He smiles as he comes out to us, "Hey boss."
My eyes narrow at him referring to me as boss, "What do you need?"
He smirks, "Can I get a cash advance for the first month?"
"What do you need the money for?" I ask but I don't mind and being searching my Mokeskin pouch for one hundred galleons.
"I want to get a gift for someone I like at Hogwarts."
My face goes odd pausing at his genuine and kind smile, "You're a bit old for a student don't you think?"
He laughs a bit at my words, "It's not a student, but a teacher."
Hermione and Daphne's eyes light up at his words, "Who?" they both ask in unison.
With a small noticeable blush on his face, I hand him a hundred galleons, "Aren't you a bit young for a teacher?"
He takes the money as he looks between the girls and me a bit embarrassed, "I hope she doesn't think so," he covers his mouth to hide his blush, "it's Aurora Sinistra."
The girls seem elated at his words but I am more impressed, "She is quite beautiful, but isn't she in her 30's?"
"I had a crush on her when I was in her class but I dismissed it as a childhood crush. But now that I'm going back I figure I may as well try."
I give a small smile at his sweet sentiment, "Then you'd better pick the gift well, she seems like a tough nut to crack."
"I'll do my best, thanks," he gives me a grateful smile as he heads off towards a well-known jewelry peddler.
As I am about to step inside the shop Harry and Ron come out, "Did you find everything?"
Harry shakes his head, "I'm still missing five books and Ron has got all but two. They have the standard book of Spells and Intermediate Transfiguration still if you guys wanna go get them."

I look around at the others who are shaking their heads, "I guess we can just head to Obscurus, they have Book of Monsters and Spellmans Syllabary."
Seeing everyone in agreement Theo leads the way. Passing by Charlie at the peddler I can see him carefully observing a large sapphire necklace with a careful gaze.
"Where did Charlie get money?" Ron asks as we are walking past.
"I gave him an advance on his pay, I also bought stuff from the twins. It feels like the Weasley family is getting rich off me." I say jokingly.
Ron shrugs, "Having money is nice, but my mom will be mad if she hears you gave us more money."
I just give a small smile, "She can be as mad as she wants as long as she is well taken care of, I don't care."
Seeing Ron go silent I look between Daphne and Theo, "What classes did you take? I didn't get to ask you two yet."
"Everything but Divination and Muggle Studies, my father says Divination is all hearsay and Muggle Studies is a waste of time." I can hear a bit of shame in her voice as she puts her head down.
"Same," Theo says with a shrug and not a shred of shame, Ron and I laugh seemingly the only ones to find the stark difference funny.
"That means we will all have Dueling together again. Are you guys ready for the house matches?"
Theo's eyes narrow as he gives me a side-eye, "What so you can beat us again? Flitwick really dropped the ball letting you participate last year."
I grin proudly, "Indeed, none of you stood a chance."
Daphne smiles at me, "I heard the third till fifth years will have a combined class. Maybe it won't be as easy for you this year."
I shake my head, "I have been relentlessly practicing my spells for the last three months, I could probably beat adults by now."
Ron and Harry sigh causing me to look at them oddly, "What? Don't believe me?"
Harry shakes his head, "No, it's because we DO believe you."
I smirk, "Thanks for the confidence, did you two practice chantless magic as I told you?"
"Chantless magic?" Hermione asks surprised.
Harry grins happily, "I started when I stayed at the Leaky Cauldron, I've gotten pretty good at charms."
Ron looks a bit less happy, "I couldn't really get the hang of it," Ron sounds a bit defeated, he must have actually tried and failed.
Hermione looks between them baffled, "You both know we don't start learning chantless until sixth year right? It's already impressive you can do anything."
Ron shrugs, "Yeah, but Soren can already do it," Harry nods in agreement.
Theo shakes his head at them, "You shouldn't compare yourself to a monster."
I hold my chest dramatically, "Hey! I'm right here!"
Theo rolls his eyes as Daphne laughs, "Sorry, an egotistical monster."
Seeing everyone laughing I accept my role as the butt of the joke and shrug. It's a bit true, I'll give him that.
Once we get to Obscurus we manage to find half of our books. We quickly head to Flourish and Blotts to get the rest of our books so we can hang out sooner. Half of the group has to get their robes tailored to fit their new sizes so they stop at Madam Malkin's.
I will not get any taller for a while since I'm already 5'9" which is very tall for a 13-year-old. Ron is the closest to my height at 5'8", but his mom tailors his robes so he doesn't have to stop. Daphne also didn't grow any so the three of us head to the Leaky Cauldron first.
