《A Terran Space Story: Academy Days》The Story Continues...

Authors Note
Apologies for the late response. The story will be continuing in a new book.
The Lieutenant Saga will focus on John's progression through the ranks in the Confederate Navy. There will be three distinctive stories each around thirty-six to forty chapters long. As of writing this, the Lieutenant Saga is nine chapters long thus far. I thought the transition from book to book would be more noticeable but I didn't do a great job advertising the changes. Lesson learned for next time at the very least.
Most of the friends in the original group will appear here and there in the books but a new cast of characters is supplementing the background roles. As much as I like the original cast, it's simply not realistic for them to all show up on the same ship and works together. Other reasons for not doing, or allowing, this from happening will also be examined in the new books too.
I am also planning on some additional world-building stories to flesh out the earlier history of the universe that I've created. This will most likely be done between books. I started this during the Academy Days book but I quickly shifted focus back to the main story. This will result in a moderate delay between books but it will help flesh out the universe and I've received some interesting feedback about the stories. At a minimum, I will be doing another fifty-year block of history notables.
Long term I do have some rough plans for the Commander and Captain sagas but I wouldn't expect to see something like that be released until well into 2023 at the earliest. I have over a hundred chapters that still need to be written, so while they are planned they are very far out currently,
The release schedule for the Lieutenant Saga will continue with them showing up on Tuesday-Saturday. There will be the occasional weeks where additional chapters will be released or if I'm on vacation and unable to post them (or if I didn't plan ahead accordingly).

I am also going to try and be more active in the comments section. I don't get notifications when a new post is made so unless I check in on the page after I post a new chapter. That being said I am going to log in a couple of times a day to stop in and see if anything appears and respond accordingly.
Finally, I want to thank everyone for reading and presumably enjoying this story. I continue to proof my own work using MS Word and Grammarly. I can't say I won't make mistakes in the future, but I hope I can continue to limit them to as few as possible. I do have plans of reproofing the first 75 or so chapters as they were written before I began using Grammarly. But it takes time to do that and between the enjoyable weather, Warhammer 40k/30k models to paint, and work, that may not happen until the weather turns in the fall or winter.

Journeys in the Fairworld: The Gatekeeper
Lindsey Fluger was only slightly past eighteen. There was nothing particularly special about her, save that she happened to be the right person at the right time. When Lindsey is asked to join an expedition to another world she makes the mistake of saying yes, plunging herself into a sea of perilous adventure and dark intrigue. Journeys in the Fairworld is a fantasy anthology series set in The Fairworld, a magical realm existing in parallel with our own world which is governed by a group elfin beings known only as “The Good Folk”. These mysterious entities work in secret to keep the peace between the myriad of peoples and nations which dwell in The Fairworld. Complex relationships and bitter rivalries emerge against a backdrop of constrained resources and conflicting values to produce a world of high adventure and tangled mysteries. This novel is technically already completed, and I am currently in the final stages of proofing or editing. As such, there may be a few typos and errors here and there. The final version should be about 130,000 words long, which I will be releasing in stages as I continue editing. I'd love to hear your feedback and comments!
