Chapter 41: This is Qiao Qing’s Current Fiance

Everyone turned their head when they heard this and saw Jun Yexuan pressed against the door frame, energyless .

Mu Jinghang was holding onto him with a nervous look .

Seeing that everyone was watching him, Jun Yexuan revealed a weak smile, “I am okay . ”

He Wanqing immediately reacted as well, “I forgot all about this kid . Baby, go check out little Xun and see how his injury is . ”

Qiao Qing’s lips slightly quivered as she walked towards Jun Yexuan .

As Qiao Qing walked over, Mu Jinghang right away placed Jun Yexuan’s arm onto Qiao Qing’s neck .

“Mom . ” Qiao Qing gave He Wanqing a look and was completely at a lost for words .

The man she was supporting suddenly felt heavier .

She couldn’t explain why and simply walked upstairs while helping Jun Yexuan .

Luo Chen’s gaze took a few turns . A nice smile remained on his face . He placed the laptop back into his backpack and tossed it over his shoulder, then, he bid He Wanqing goodbye .

“Auntie, I’ll be leaving first . ”

“Wait . ” He Wangqing endured for a long while but she ended up asking, “What happened between you, Qiao Qing, and Qiao Nian?”

The second half of the video clearly showed that this boy had the intention of helping Qiao Nian .

If it weren’t for the fact that he was here to take Qiao Qing’s side, He Wanqing would’ve stormed off in anger .

Luo Chen scratched his head out of embarrassment, “Sorry auntie . I was blinded before and was scammed by a white lotus of a girl . But now, I am a loyal fan of Qiao Qing’s… from now on, I will only listen to her at school . Can you not blame me?”

He Wanqing sighed in relief, “Why would I? Even I thought that girl was innocent and naïve, who knew she had so many tricks up her sleeves? It’s late . I will get someone to drive you back . ”

“There’s no need, auntie . I came by car and my car is waiting outside . Now, auntie, please rest early!”

Then, he stepped into the night .

He Wanqing watched Luo Chen’s back and was a little dazzled by him . “This kid seems decent as well and similar in age to my baby . Plus, what did he say? He is Qiao Qing’s loyal fan?”

Mu Jinghang’s heart did a somersault before he quickly spoke up, “Did he say that? I didn’t hear it . Auntie, you must’ve heard wrong . ”

“Plus, auntie, Mr . Ye isn’t much older . Only twenty…one . ”

To be safe, he subtracted two years from his actual age .

He Wanqing glared at him, “How do you know that?”

“Oh! Mr . Ye told me while we were chatting . Auntie, stop overthinking! I have a girl I like already! I’m just waiting to earn money and go back so I can marry her!”

He Wanqing was still suspicious but nodded, “Oh, oh, go to sleep . I will go and fetch you some water to get rid of all that bad luck . ”

“Okay, auntie . ” Mu Jinghang turned around and went upstairs .

In his mind, he planned on getting some money from his third brother .

For the sake of his marriage, Mu Jinghang was not having an easy time .

Qiao Qing helped Jun Yexuan to the bed and quickly unbuttoned his shirt .

After she saw the wound, she frowned . Suppressing her anger, she brought over the medical kit without a word .

Jun Yexuan stared at the lollipop stick that was sticking out of her mouth and he felt strangely unpleasant .

“Does it taste good?”

Qiao Qing looked at him, confused, “What?”

“That lollipop, does it taste good?”

Qiao Qing ignored him .

Jun Yexuan wasn’t going to let this go, “I want to eat it too . ”

Qiao Qing couldn’t understand why he had gotten obsessed with a lollipop and answered impatiently, “I don’t have another one . ”
