Qiao Qing pursed her lips and asked with hesitation, “Does your family know about this? They agreed to this?”
Qi Yusen replied, “I don’t live with them . I have my own manor . It’s tranquil and quiet . It’s isolated enough that others won’t bug you . ”

Qiao Qing sighed in relief . To call someone she barely knew “brother” was a little difficult .
Qi Yusen asked yet another question, “Can I call you Qingqing?”
Qiao Qing nodded .
The light in Qi Yusen’s eyes brightened even more . He grabbed her hand and headed outside . As he walked, he said, “Qingqing, let’s go pack . ”
Qiao Qing replied, “There’s no need . We are basically done . You don’t know what I need anyway . ”
Qi Yusen paused and nodded . He patted her head again, “Then, you go pack . I’ll wait for you here . ”
Qiao Qing agreed and left .
Ning Ye watched Qiao Qing leave . Then he asked, “Young master, why didn’t you tell her about where she really came from? Why didn’t you ask her to come back to the Qi family?”
“The old man and the old madam have always wanted a grandson or a granddaughter . If they know about her existence, they would be overjoyed . ”
Qi Yusen’s face became stuffed with worry and regret, “That’s exactly why we can’t let them know about Qingqing . ”
