Chapter 453: Stealing Under Broad Daylight

Everyone looked over to the exit and saw Gong Yi walk in with his hands in his pocket.

He wore a black suit and his blazer was not fully buttoned. It revealed the wine-colored shirt he wore inside. The flirtatious way he dressed was comparable to Jun Yexuan.

When Jun Yexuan saw Gong Yi, his pretty eyes narrowed.

Gong Yi didn’t seem to have noticed his devouring gaze. He looked over to Qi Yusen and asked, “Young master Qi, you sure act fast. However, we all got our eyes on the same person – what do you suggest we do about that?”

Jun Yexuan raised an eyebrow and his lips curled up meaningfully.

His love rival was trying to offend his brother-in-law. All he had to do was sit and watch this fight.

Qi Yusen pursed his lips, “Then, whoever is better wins the talent.”

“Great.” Gong Yi clapped his hands together and walked up to Qiao Qing. He tempted, “Girl, come back to country Z with me and be my subordinate. You can pick whatever real estate and car you want in country Z. As for salary, you pick a number and I’ll sign off on it. Be my wife and I’ll make sure you are safe from family drama. You won’t even have to deal with a mother-in-law. You can have half of the Gong family’s fortune just like that. What do you say about that?”

Jun Yexuan lunged at him and Gong Yi dodged.

Jun Yexuan got up and wanted to try again but Qiao Qing stopped him.

Qiao Qing grabbed his hand and interlocked her fingers with his, “Don’t fight. Let’s go back.”

Jun Yexuan’s handsome face reddened a little and his heart bubbled from happiness.

His proud expression made Gong Yi and QI Yusen’s faces darken.

Just then, Sang Wu came up and placed a little pouch into Qiao Qing’s hand, “Bab..”

Jun Yexuan’s glare made her change her use of words, “Qingqing, I stayed up all night stitching this up for you. It’s a gift. Carry it with you and it will protect you from bad luck and ill-fortune. I’m going to be on my way again. If you ever run into trouble, contact me. Unless I’m in the mountains where there is no signal, I will return your call.”

Qiao Qing was surprised, “I thought you said you’d stay here for a while.”

Mu Jinghang also stared at Sang Wu. For some reason, he found her strange. It felt like she purposely avoided him or something.

They’ve only met once. How could he have possibly offended her that one time?

Sang Wu didn’t even dare to meet Mu Jinghang’s gaze. She straight-up lied, “I suddenly changed my mind. Plus, this other country has been asking me to go and check out their Feng Shui. I need to hurry and help them out!”

The reality was that if she doesn’t go now, then she won’t be able to leave ever.

This morning, she saw her own fortune. It seemed that in the short term, there would be something that stops her from leaving.

Right after she hugged her, she ran away like the wind before Jun Yexuan could give her a hard time.

Mu Jinghang smiled, “That girl sure has guts.”

Jun Yexuan glared at him, “You useless thing.”

Mu Jinghang, “???”

Gong Yi then leaned over and asked Qiao Qing, “Are you not going to consider coming with me?”

Jun Yexuan once again narrowed his eyes, “Young master Gong, you want to cause your own downfall?!”

Gong Yi snorted, “I’m not one to scare easy. So you met her first and got her to be loyal to you. If it weren’t for that, I’d see to the end with you, using all the resources I have at my disposal!”

Jun Yexuan chuckled, “Since you know Qingqing is loyal to me, then go back to where you came from!”
