Chapter 501: I Found the National Hero

“You can delete him from your contact list and you can erase your recent call history. Why do you treat us like we are idiots?!”

Qi Yeli took out his handcuff and glanced at Mo Ran.

“It took us so much effort to find you. If you don’t cooperate, we will have to use force!”

Dai Yixin looked at the handcuff and sighed, “I never should’ve made a call in public. But, third young master Qi, what do you want from me? I don’t want to get famous and be bothered by the media.”

Qi Yeli excitedly extended a hand, “Join the police force. Help get rid of evil for the citizens by contributing your power.”

Dai Yixin wanted to decline but she wasn’t sure how she could’ve gotten the bonus without going with him.

She said, “I was going to leave the country. I never considered joining the police force.”

Qi Yeli freaked out when he heard she may be leaving, “You can think about it. I won’t tell anyone your true identity.”

Dai Yixin simply responded with, “Okay, I’ll think about it.”

She then tried to leave again.

Qi Yeli didn’t feel okay with this. Her attitude made it clear that she was just trying to lose him. It was likely that she may run away just like that.

As he thought about it, he took out his arm and grabbed onto her, “Think about it at the police station? You can live there. We’ll provide you with meals and accommodation!”

The fish took its bait! Dai Yixin was ecstatic. However, her face remained reluctant.

As if she was hesitating, she took a few seconds before agreeing, “Alright.”

Just like that, Dai Yixin came to the police station with Qi Yeli.

Since he promised they wouldn’t expose her identity, Qi Yeli didn’t tell anyone who she was. He merely asked two policemen to keep an eye on her.

Everyone thought Dai Yixin was a helper Qi Yeli brought from the international security team, so they didn’t pay much attention.

At night, he added a whole team outside of Dai Yixin’s room. Only then, did he feel okay to go home.

The way he was treating her was not like she was a VIP. Instead, it felt more like he treated her like she was a fugitive. Everyone at the station began to gossip.

At that moment, Dai Yixin had no idea what she had gotten herself into. She could’ve had a bright future and built up her career in a different country. Yet she chose to lie and cheat, which will get her her deserved consequences.

Qiao Qing was reading her medical books while waiting for dinner. Jun Yexuan on the other hand was peeling an apple for her.

Qi Yuyang stared at Qi Yeli, who’s every fiber was screaming with joy, “Third brother, why are you so happy? Did you find money?”

“Better than finding money!” Qi Yeli said to Qi Yusen, “Right, big bro, you can stop funding me. I found the national hero.”

Han Zhi, who was in the living room, remembered the day when Qiao Qing caught the criminal after racing the car down the street.

Was he wrong to assume that she was the national hero?

Jun Yexuan’s peeling hand froze as he frowned.

His peripheral vision caught sight of Qiao Qing, but he didn’t pick up any unusualness.

Qi Yuyang and Qi Yusen were also surprised. Qi Yuyang asked, “Who is it?”

Qi Yeli smiled, “I cannot leak her information right now. Once she agrees to join the police force, I’ll let you know.”

Qi Yunyan asked, “How are you sure that she is the national hero?”

Qi Yeli answered, “Naturally, I found evidence. You don’t know about police work. You shouldn’t worry about this.”
