The water rumbled down Barete’s throat and he finally swallowed his first mouth of water in three days.

Gu Mengmeng pressed on and just when she sent the water into her mouth to get ready to feed him, her wrist was grabbed onto by Elvis. Elvis’s eyes were filled with ink that could not be melted and his thin lips clamped into a straight line. He shook his head and although the movement was not big, it encompassed firmness and resolution without a doubt.
