Narrowing his eye in pleasure at being stroked, Lea said, “The vultures are similar to the snow foxes . They are both the followers of the Beast Deity . The difference is that the snow foxes represent the light, overseeing all land beasts from Sauder; while the vultures represent the dark, leading all flying beasts and guarding the sacred objects . From what Gregory implied, they are not just guarding the Love of the Sky . There are a number of other sacred objects as well . But Jialue did not dare to ask what those objects are, as Gregory would get suspicious if he probed too much . It will be very difficult to get Gregory to open up again once he raises his guard . ”
