Wabei did not understand Gu Mengmeng’s frustration and was worried when he saw her face and asked, “What happened? Did something happen there where Snakel is?”
Gu Mengmeng was stunned, then shook her head and said, “No, Snakel is fine . It’s my father who could not stand watching me live in peace and gave me some troublesome matters to settle . ”

Gu Mengmeng told him about the Beast Deity asking her to keep Gregory, but Wabei only scoffed, “I was still wondering what it could be, isn’t it just keeping a birdman? Why are you in a dilemma? When the time comes, if you like him you can keep him, if you don’t like him… can’t you still eat him? Isn’t it great to keep a fresh food ration during winter?”
Gu Mengmeng rolled her eyes at Wabei and said, “I should really throw you to the present world and let you become a pair with Bai Lan . ”
