“I should not have any time left to play with Sandy this winter.” Gu Mengmeng turned to look at Cole, then shifted her gaze to Lea and said with a bashful smile, “Now that I have Love of the Sky, Lea has agreed to give birth to a pack of fox cubs for me to play with.”

Cole’s eyes instantly reddened as he grabbed Gu Mengmeng’s wrist and said through his gritted teeth, “If you want to give birth to fox cubs, I can do it with you, don’t ever mate with others anymore.”

Gu Mengmeng glanced sideways at Cole, then looked at her wrist and laughed softly, “Cole, are you mistaken? You are not my male partner, it would not be your turn to father a child with me no matter what, isn’t it?”

“So long as you are willing, I can be your male partner.” Cole looked at Gu Mengmeng, his face filled with a hideous look.

Gu Mengmeng struggled but could not break free. She did not turn angry, instead she smiled and asked Cole, “You, a stray beast, how could you be my partner?”

“Even without the mating mark, I can still impregnate you. Maya and Miranda are the best proof.” Cole rebutted. He felt that there was a hidden meaning behind Gu Mengmeng’s words, as though she was giving him a chance, so he gave his best try, hoping that this chance would give him the opportunity to stay by her side.

“Hah…” Gu Mengmeng burst out into laughter. Her clear and big eyes were obviously filled with ridicule and disgust, “Don’t you know that I am a clean freak? Would I want a hand-me-down from someone else? Is your brain filled with hyaluronic acid? Has it cleared all the creases on your brain?”

Elvis’ eyes had been on Gu Mengmeng’s face the whole time and she did not even bother to give Cole a look of despise. Kissing Gu Mengmeng lovingly on her little nose, he replied, “Alright.”

Lea swayed his tail and smiled very gracefully when he passed by Cole and said, “Then, I shall be troubling the Fox King to clean up this area, thanks for the hard work.”

After saying that, he followed after Gu Mengmeng. While walking, he said, “There must be some winter rations for you at Saint Nazaire since Barete must have prepared your share, so if we return now, there should be no issue if Elvis and I were to go out to get some of your favourite vegetables and fruits.”

“Hold up.” Cole suddenly turned around and asked, “Don’t you want the Spirit of the Rocky Cliffs anymore?”

Gu Mengmeng’s body froze and she turned to look at Cole to say, “You know the Spirit of the Rocky Cliffs?”

Cole smiled miserably and nodded, while saying, “Not only do I know about it, I am willing to bet my life on a chance for you to love me… Even if you are going to despise me, make use of me, it’s alright. But if you want the Spirit of the Rocky Cliffs, you have to stay by my side and let me love you more, shouldn’t you?”
