With Lea saying this, Gu Mengmeng felt that she it might be true.

“Puuu…” Spitting out fresh blood, Cole held his chest as he lay on the ground watched Gu Mengmeng with a smile. The bright red colour of the blood had a huge contrast on his pale face. Even though he looked pathetic, he still forced a smile and did not say anything while continuing to look at her.
Gu Mengmeng felt her anger diminished because of his blood. She clenched her fist tightly and stood on the spot, without rushing forward to hit him again.
She asked crudely, “Why are you not retaliating? Aren’t you good at fighting? Don’t tell me you don’t hit women, I saw that you were not merciful at all when beating up Maya and Miranda.”
Cole shook his head and said, “It’s not that I don’t hit women, but I just don’t hit you.”
“I don’t need you to give in to me. You are a Beast King, so am I. If I risk my life, I might not be weaker than you.” The fact that Cole did not retaliate made Gu Mengmeng displeased. It felt as though she was using violence on him and bullying him. But it was obviously his fault, why should she feel guilty?
